Jen & Violet’s Central Park Playdate
Jennifer Garner and 22-month-old cutie Violet take their daily trip to a Central Park playground on a chilly Sunday morning in New York City.
The 35-year-old former Alias star has been in town for her limited 10-week engagement in the play Cyrano de Bergerac.
Jen is also the lead cover story in the Fall/Winter 2007 issue of Vogue Living Magazine, in stores now. She shows off and chats up her flower garden.

oh my god what are the haters saying! jen has always since the very beginning gone out with her daughter to the park! You can tell she is happy kid and a proud mother, what the publicity thing? they can go out, poor kid, it’s normal. From my point of view they are happy and natural. By the way who cares if she is ugky or nice or better or worse bthan suri or shiloh, they spend happy time together, i prefer to see those picts than KH ones, they are natural ther mother does not care if she dresses burberrys or armany! I just love them and from my point of view violet, Jen and Ben are a very goodlooking family.

She lool exactly like Garner, the ear, dimples and those eyes. funny, I didn’t see any feature coming from Ben Affleck, at least , we saw Tom Cruise nose in Suri, and Shiloh is all Brad except for the Angie’s pouty lip, for Violet , she’s all Garner. she’s cute anyway.

I don’t have any problems with little kids I know they are all innocent all that, but when you are all saying awwwww she is so cute adorable thats a lieeeeeeeeeeeeeeee who are you kidding? Perhaps if she grows up she might change her looks but for now I do not see a adorable gorgeoous kid I just see an average kid thats it.

You guys are too funny. The little girl is either ugly or gorgeous. What does it matter? She’s a pretty little girl. Picture #19 is just beautiful. She’s a little girl. Everyone who posts, one would presume, has a drop dead gorgeous baby, every one of em. The wonderful thing is that Jennifer Garner doesn’t seem to care what you think. Her little girl will grow up happy, healthy and loved, whether you call her pride and joy pretty or not. They don’t have a problem at all, but anyone who looks at a child and needs to rant about them not being cute, has a serious troll problem. Wonder what you trolls see when you look in the mirror; one could only hope it’s half as pretty as that wee girl.

Who the are YOU to tell ME I’m lying when I say that Violet is adorable?? That is what I see when I look at her pic, a beautiful baby. If you don’t, that’s your own issue and good luck with that… But don’t call me a liar. (#48 said it best though)
violet reminds me of this one episode of seinfeld… “breathtaking”. lol please not all babies are cute & beautiful and anyways, the most important thing is that they’re bright & healthy. so what if the baby’s ugly, she’s obviously compensated with much love from her momma.

Oh, Mrs.Affleck needs publicity again.LOL Every time she has a movie coming out or like now a theater play you see her with Violet in some park, playing and smiling for paparazzi.
Further, I’ve never seen any indication that Jennifer Garner needs or wants anyone’s validation of her beauty. She’s a woman, and sometimes she is pretty, sometimes pretty plain. But it is what it is, and whether the media chases her to take photos or not, it still is what it is. She seems pretty grounded and knows who she is. As for her playing in the park when she has a movie coming out…. geesh, you guys are pathetic. She’s a mom, pictures are taken of her out with her daughter all the time. It’s what mothers do; whether you have a movie coming out or not. You obviously have no idea how this parenting thing works; shame your parents didn’t take time to take you to the park, poor pathetic jealous little trolls. While speaking my mind, I have to apologize, because I don’t like being nasty. I’m not even much of a Jennifer Garner fan, but she seems a decent sort…and in this world, that sure counts for more than the fact that she may not be listed on EVERYONE’s top 10.
jen is great & natural —it’s nice to see a celebrity dressed appropriate for the occasion and whose ego is not so big she has to stumble around in 10 inch heels and a full face of make-up (vb -lol) wherever she goes. jen is confident in her own skin and does not need the approval ratings of a bunch of trolls to be herself, a real & genuine person.

In one of her interviews J.Garner said that when she was a kid she wanted to be like her old sister, Jen was jealous of her.
In her other interview Jen said her mother, Pat Garner, doesn’t remember Jen learning to walk. She remember her other children, Melissa and Susannah, but doesn’t remember Jen at all.
Jen said that she´s “just the lame-o who became an actor seeking the attention she didn’t get as a kid.”
She was jealous of attention her sisters got, so now she loves-loves-loves all the attention she gets. Even Jen Garner, a woman with a “good girl”-image, can be jealous and pathetic. So now Cjean and Joan, what do you expect from people who will never ever be as good as our girl Jennifer a.k.a. “The mother of the year”?
BTW Cjean, obviously you know JenG pretty well. Who is better Jen Garner or your mother?
They look like they have a lot of fun together. Good for them! They are both adorable. I really don’t understand why people dislike complete strangers. Most people in Hollywood are beautiful in some way. I think it’s great that there are classic beauties and people who are more uniquely beautiful. How freaking boring would it be if everyone was cookie cutter?
Obviously many people find Jennifer Garner attractive and talented, otherwise she wouldn’t be on this blog right now. Think about it. The fact that you are responding to this post at all means that she’s in your consciousness.

Violet is cute. She looks like most kids her age, just like her mother is an average looking woman. I think that’s there appeal. Some women see their own kids and themselves looking similar to this duo and that’s why they fawn over them.
But you know what, I can’t stand the term “unconventionally or uniquely beautiful” it’s just a euphemism for funny looking IMO. Seriously, not everyone is beautiful, that’s just the god’s honest truth and I’m tired of this PC thing that dictates everyone think every face out there is a gorgeous face somehow. Not true. Garner isn’t ugly, just average, and I think detractors are just saying they aren’t going to give her the beautiful title when it doesn’t fit.
There are more important things than being beautiful though. Talented in the case of celebrity is one of them. I don’t require celebs to be beautiful to like or admire them, but I’m also not going to call them beautiful when that’s not really the case.
Why would I compare Jennifer Garner to my mother? So she didn’t get a lot of attention as a child and loves it now. Duh…. that would be most actor/actresses justification. For most, they’d probably say that they didn’t get “enough” attention as a kid, because when you enjoy being the center, there’s never enough. So, that made her decide to be a better parent to her daughter and shower her with attention. I don’t know the woman, and could care less. What I have seend in interviews and pictures, I respect. She doesn’t drag her daughter around to parties and premieres; she’s at the park. She doesn’t drag her daughter out to display to the media, the media follows her. Think about it, you see her doing everyday parenting kinda stuff. If you don’t like it, don’t look…. if we don’t look, the media will leave her alone. Then, if she starts pulling the Cruise family exploitation type deal, I’ll agree… she’s pathetic. But as for the papp following her when she takes her daughter to the park. Give me a break.
As for my mother… there’s a lot of gray area between my mother, me as a mother and Jennifer Garner….. so why compare? Parenting is not a competition…. you’re best so I must not be so good.

“Parenting is not a competition…so why compare”? Many Garner´s fans always compare Jen Garner to Brit Spears or Angelina so ask them why are they doing this.
Lula29 - Just because someone isn’t classically beautiful, doesn’t mean they can’t be considered beautiful. You and others are disagreeing with people’s personal opinions by pushing your own personal opinion. Opinions are not fact and everyone has a different perspective on beauty. I happen to think that Jennifer Garner has a very natural, down-to-earth, scrubbed clean beauty about her that others may call ‘boring’ or ‘plain’. As they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If one person finds you beautiful (hopefully they do) then you are beautiful.
BTW, I know when I think someone is ugly and I do not call everyone beautiful just to be PC; so to suggest otherwise is to cast a huge generalization on me & any anyone else who sees this woman (or UNIQUELY BEAUTIFUL WOMEN - a.k.a., those people who NOT EVERYONE thinks is beautiful) as pretty or adorable or beautiful or whatever. I love these two. I am saddened by the people who missed the beauty of this outing. I am sure Jen would much prefer to spend this time with her precious little one without the paps, not to mention the hateful comments from some of the less fortunate and jealous people on this thread. I feel guilty intruding on their privacy but seeing them makes me smile. I know how much Jen values her privacy yet she makes the sacrifice so that her baby will have as close to normal a childhood as possible. Violet is so cute and adorable. Jen is so beautiful and wholesome. When she kisses her baby, she does not leave tons of makeful on the baby’s skin.
1) Jennifer Garner IS NOT TOO THIN, and who thinks that she is like that maybe can’t see very good.
2) She is a beautiful woman, I don’t think that who says that Jen is ugly is better than her…
3) Jen is not using Violet for publicity, she’s just living her life with her daughter and people can’t stop following them.
That’s all :)
