JEN and VIOLET..very ugly..

Further, I’ve never seen any indication that Jennifer Garner needs or wants anyone’s validation of her beauty. She’s a woman, and sometimes she is pretty, sometimes pretty plain. But it is what it is, and whether the media chases her to take photos or not, it still is what it is. She seems pretty grounded and knows who she is. As for her playing in the park when she has a movie coming out…. geesh, you guys are pathetic. She’s a mom, pictures are taken of her out with her daughter all the time. It’s what mothers do; whether you have a movie coming out or not. You obviously have no idea how this parenting thing works; shame your parents didn’t take time to take you to the park, poor pathetic jealous little trolls. While speaking my mind, I have to apologize, because I don’t like being nasty. I’m not even much of a Jennifer Garner fan, but she seems a decent sort…and in this world, that sure counts for more than the fact that she may not be listed on EVERYONE’s top 10.

Why does she have that kid out in front of the paparazzi all the time?

In one of her interviews J.Garner said that when she was a kid she wanted to be like her old sister, Jen was jealous of her.

In her other interview Jen said her mother, Pat Garner, doesn’t remember Jen learning to walk. She remember her other children, Melissa and Susannah, but doesn’t remember Jen at all.
Jen said that she´s “just the lame-o who became an actor seeking the attention she didn’t get as a kid.”
She was jealous of attention her sisters got, so now she loves-loves-loves all the attention she gets. Even Jen Garner, a woman with a “good girl”-image, can be jealous and pathetic. So now Cjean and Joan, what do you expect from people who will never ever be as good as our girl Jennifer a.k.a. “The mother of the year”?
BTW Cjean, obviously you know JenG pretty well. Who is better Jen Garner or your mother?

Violet is cute. She looks like most kids her age, just like her mother is an average looking woman. I think that’s there appeal. Some women see their own kids and themselves looking similar to this duo and that’s why they fawn over them.

But you know what, I can’t stand the term “unconventionally or uniquely beautiful” it’s just a euphemism for funny looking IMO. Seriously, not everyone is beautiful, that’s just the god’s honest truth and I’m tired of this PC thing that dictates everyone think every face out there is a gorgeous face somehow. Not true. Garner isn’t ugly, just average, and I think detractors are just saying they aren’t going to give her the beautiful title when it doesn’t fit.

There are more important things than being beautiful though. Talented in the case of celebrity is one of them. I don’t require celebs to be beautiful to like or admire them, but I’m also not going to call them beautiful when that’s not really the case.

I agree with you. I wouldn’t say she’s beautiful, I wouldn’t say Violet is beautiful. I wouldn’t say it mattered at all one way or the other.

Lula29 - Just because someone isn’t classically beautiful, doesn’t mean they can’t be considered beautiful. You and others are disagreeing with people’s personal opinions by pushing your own personal opinion. Opinions are not fact and everyone has a different perspective on beauty. I happen to think that Jennifer Garner has a very natural, down-to-earth, scrubbed clean beauty about her that others may call ‘boring’ or ‘plain’. As they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If one person finds you beautiful (hopefully they do) then you are beautiful.

BTW, I know when I think someone is ugly and I do not call everyone beautiful just to be PC; so to suggest otherwise is to cast a huge generalization on me & any anyone else who sees this woman (or UNIQUELY BEAUTIFUL WOMEN - a.k.a., those people who NOT EVERYONE thinks is beautiful) as pretty or adorable or beautiful or whatever. Deal with it.

I think you need to deal with the fact not everyone agrees.

I love these two. I am saddened by the people who missed the beauty of this outing. I am sure Jen would much prefer to spend this time with her precious little one without the paps, not to mention the hateful comments from some of the less fortunate and jealous people on this thread. I feel guilty intruding on their privacy but seeing them makes me smile. I know how much Jen values her privacy yet she makes the sacrifice so that her baby will have as close to normal a childhood as possible. Violet is so cute and adorable. Jen is so beautiful and wholesome. When she kisses her baby, she does not leave tons of makeful on the baby’s skin.

Homegirl is average at best. Beautiful is an overstatement
