Jessica Simpson helps honors legendary country star Hank Williams Jr. at the 2007 CMT Giants Tribute event in Los Angeles on Thursday. (Jessica plans to release a country album in the near future.)
The CMT Giants franchise began last year when Reba McEntire was honored for her stellar career.
This year’s tribute featured live performances by Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Kid Rock, Gretchen Wilson, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Buddy Guy. Jimmy Kimmel and Terry Bradshaw also presented.
The CMT Giants Tribute 2007 airs on CMT on Saturday, Nov. 17 @ 9PM ET/PT.

I think of all the great country performers and feel sorry for them. The only reason she’s bordering into country is because she has failed in the other genre (with the men and the music).

Orange, she’s getting her skin spray tanned again? She needs to leave the spray tan alone, I heard it dries the skin in the long run. Otherwise she looks okay.
