MySpace Announces Second Annual “Rock for Darfur” Concert Event

MySpace, the world’s most popular social network, today announced the second annual “Rock for Darfur” (www.myspace.com/RockForDarfur), a one-day philanthropic concert event created by MySpace to generate awareness and raise funds for the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Sudan. On Saturday, Nov. 10, 37 pre-scheduled concerts will take place across four continents and showcase passionate bands that share the common goal of promoting peace in the African region. Fans can show their support for the cause by attending one of the local concerts taking place world wide. MySpace has arranged for a portion of proceeds from each concert to be donated to Oxfam America http://www.myspace.com/Oxfam), a leading international relief and development organization, and to the Save Darfur Coalition.
In addition to its efforts with “Rock for Darfur,” MySpace is working with Warner Independent Pictures and Participant Productions on the upcoming feature film “Darfur Now” http://www.myspace.com/DarfurNow).

Opening in select theaters on Nov. 2, “Darfur Now” is the critically acclaimed documentary film following six individuals doing their part to bring peace to Darfur, including Academy Award nominated actor Don Cheadle. Content from the film is featured on the “Rock for Darfur” profile page, including an exclusive video message from Cheadle to the MySpace community to take action and help raise awareness about the crisis.

A public service announcement produced by Participant Productions will be available on MySpace and broadcast at participating “Rock for Darfur” concert venues. The PSA features Cheadle, Brad Pitt, Jessica Beil, Lauren Bush, NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb and NBA stars Tracy McGrady and Steve Nash, among many others, all calling for an end to the crisis in Darfur, NOW. Additionally, the MySpace and Participant Productions are working together on a screening program that will take the film to markets nationwide.

Just thought that I’d post a link to a Variety article about what films the studio is setting to go with the possible writer’s strike and the SAG strike. As there was some question to whether Angelina would be doing Atlas Shrugged in 2008 or not. It’s not listed in this article as waiting for the final script, etc.

#884: reunion, as a troll, you don’t even make the grade. Wanted with JA and Ms. Streep (which she backed out of, sorry to say) is not the same movie as Wanted by Mark Millar. Goes to show that you don’t even keep up with the news of your supposedly chosen idol. Did you just get on the payroll and wasn’t given sufficient background? Or did you just get to JJs and are wanting to be a player so you are so uninformed?

I know you believe that ___ did everything in her power to not get pregnant but one of Brad’s swimmers could’ve slipped past the goalie.

Also, wouldn’t it be something if she did both happy and male hormones? If ole gurl was that desperate to be thin, she would probably go to those extremes.

I happened to look up the symptoms of excess male hormones: acne, facial hair growth and loss of hair. ___’s skin during her marriage was pretty bad; some detected facial hair; and her hair loss was probably covered up by extensions, applied by… oh wow, Chris McMillan.

And if indeed, ___ is the person, and during the height of her use of male hormones, she bolstered ‘a magnificent head of hair’, that dude’s stock in HW would definitely rise because he performed a miracle. $h*t, I would chip in for him to fix Britney’s crack weave.

If this proves to be ___, I would strongly suspect that Brad was in the dark about her doings. That is a very sad thought, though. Imagine people placing such store in ___ and she proves to be one of the most diabolical, cutthroat liars that HW has seen the likes of, when ’scandalous Brad’ and ’salacious Angelina’ were the most normal and honest verticles of the dreaded triangle.

And BTW…wouldn’t it be even more delicious if McMillan was behind the blind item featured on BWE.tv about a herpes-infested A-Lister who lied about wanting children but never did, which lead to her high profile breakup?
