Zac Efron is an Aviators Man
Zac Efron meets a friend for lunch at Aroma Cafe in Studio City, Calif on Monday.
The High School Musical star apparently only carries around big bucks because he had to feed the meter with change borrowed from the paparazzi! Before leaving, he checked his meter again and flashed a thumbs up to photogs.
Later in the day, Zac ducked into a local supermarket and left carrying a small bag with a box in it, which he tucked away in his trunk.

Jane, I don’t like Zac because he’s good looking, I mean he looks grungy sometimes. I like him because he’s a good actor. he has shown he’s a good actor in Miracle Run, Summerland and Hairspray. just because I don’t like Vanessa doesn’t make me a bad fan. I like Brad Pitt as an actor but I don’t like Angelina. I can like Zac and not like Vanessa. it’s not like they’re married or something.

just because they’re not constantly smiling at the photographers…doesn’t mean they’re not happy
and i think pics of them are being more expensive, now that they’re more popular, which is why jared can’t always post the pics of them together

Interesting point you bring up - something I’ve also asked myself now and then. I originally wasn’t a fan of either one. I’m actually 35 years old, and only learned about Zac and Vanessa through my kids when HSM came out. Even after I saw HSM1, I didn’t think anything of them - just cute little kids.
I could say that what started drawing me to them was when I saw the pictures from Hawaii for the first time. For some reason, their chemistry through those photos caught my attention, and I just thought, “Wow, what a cute couple!”
However, it wasn’t until I actually sat and listened through one of Zac’s interviews that I realized for a 19-year-old, he is very mature for his age. The way he carries himself, his friendly demeanor, his modesty and integrity really drew me to him. The more I learned about him - from his strict upbringing to the way he excelled in academics - just made me respect him more, especially for being such the young man that he is. He also seems like he’s a lot of fun to hang out with.
Vanessa still seems very young when I watch her interviews. She’s not as polished as Zac is, but then again, I was nothing close to being as mature when I was her age. I’m sure that with time, she will learn to express herself in a more articulate manner. She is very talented, and has such a beautiful voice, and has such a natural, exotic beauty to her. She also seems very spunky, but sweet at the same time. All of these things is what has made me a fan of hers.
I guess it would depend on the way they were to break up. If he were to leave her for another woman the way Brad left Jennifer, then I will definitely not support Zac’s career or vice versa. Believe me, since Brad left Jen, I have not spent one penny towards any of Brad’s movies/projects. I believe the last movie of his that I saw was “Troy”. Since then, I have not seen any of his films. If Zac & Vanessa were to fall in that same category, then consider him or her written off in my book.
However, I know that they are both still very young and have many more life experiences ahead of them, so I am very aware that the likelihood of them staying together is very slim. Believe me, I am one of those who would love to see these two continue their romance for as long as possible, and I am rooting for them, but in reality, I think that eventually they will break up. I just hope that if or when they do, it is for a respectable reason, not because one person chose to hurt the other. If that is the case, then I would continue to support both of them as individuals as much as I support them now as a couple. They’re both very talented people, and my kids and I would certainly look to them for entertainment, whether through their films or music.

Janetan, saying that you don’t like someone it’s not talking bad about that person. If I were saying that she’s ugly, or has no talent, THAT would be talking bad about her.
I actually think she’s cute and a decent actress.

Maybe Vanessa will grow up on me like she did on you, maybe not. That’s not the point.
About the whole Brad-Jennifer-Angelina thing, I actually like the 3 of them as actors. I tend to separate the actor from the person, because being a bad person doesn’t make you a bad actor or viceversa.
What they do with their private lives is none of my business, and I refuse to stop seeing a movie or buying a CD that would entertain me just because the actor/singer is not a perfect person. But that’s me, and I totally respect the fact that you choose not to spend money on people who’s morals you don’t respect.
I think I’ll still be a Zac fan even if he leaves Vanessa for another woman, or start partying, or doing drugs (although I’m almost possitive he never will); because I enjoy seeing him on the screen and because, to me, the way he conducts his life is his business.

and Janetan. it’s not like o I hate Vanessa. she should die or anything. I’m just not a fan of hers never have been, when the first HSM first came out, I didn’t even like her. I thought she was the weak link in the film besides Monique. in all the roles I’ve seen her in from thirteen to thunderbirds to hsm to suite life. to me she basically just played the same character. now maybe if I can see her really act in like an indie or a dark film maybe my mind will change about her.
I just hate how people treat them as a unit. how all posts of Zac get turned in things about Vanessa. they’re not one person. on a Zac post. I’m here to talk about Zac.
I don’t go into a Vanessa post and talk about her because I frankly don’t care about her. her singing voice is just ok. it’s not amazing like compared to other people’s. it’s just ok. she has a very breathy tone not very strong.

Thanks for your response and for taking into consideration that people take into account different factors to help them decide who/what they choose to support. I’m glad you posed this question because as I said, that thought has gone through my mind, and I’m glad I was able to express my point of view and read yours as well.
One thing I can say is that we both seem to be Zac Efron fans, although I am more of a Vanessa fan than you are. I’m sure you have your reasons. It was enlightening to exchange opinions with you.
dislike is different than hate. I can dislike a person but that doesn’t mean I hate their guts or anything.
