She would have just been the whack job f**king nasty Billy Bob Thornton in the back of a limo or questionably kissing her brother at the Oscars, talking about cutting herself and her ‘edgy’ lesbian escapades for PR’s sake. This woman invites the world into her bedroom and we call it interesting.
I wonder why most of the people who adore her so much, who come onto this site and post in these threads constantly, mention how lovely or beautiful or sexy she is before anything else about her? Or why they BEG Jared for more pictures, rather than for more text of interviews she’s given or transcripts of speeches she’s done? You love her because she’s pretty to look at. She takes a great photo. She does good things - thank god - and can now set a good example for her kids, yes. But primarily she is pretty.

Contrary to reports yesterday that Senator Barack Obama said thanks but no thanks to Brad Pitt, the actor’s rep says Pitt never offered the Presidential hopeful his support.
“Not only is the rumor not true, Brad has never even talked to the Obama campaign,” Trevor Neilson, Pitt’s political adviser, tells PEOPLE. “Like many Americans Brad is learning more about the candidates and will make a decision about who to support in the coming months.” –Mary Green

I really liked her when she was edgier but she’s very talented and is living her life. She’s a good mom to boot.
I know Angie’s features don’t always add up to beauty, but they do add up to gorgeous! How can one woman be so gorgeous physically and emotionally and in her soul? WOW!

I want to point out that we do NOT worship Angie. We root for her. Yes, she’s beautiful. But that’s NOT the only reason we love her.
Well, bring me another person (female) who possesses all the qualities which Angie has. Name one who has all these qualities, the beauty, the real compassion for the “forgotten people”, the generosity, the love of children, the acting talent, the success, the history of having some problems while growing up and has turned herself around and changed for the better, the mindset to be “unhollywood” (go against the norm of not hiring a publicist), the courage of NOT afraid to admit her tennage behavior.

Angelina Jolie attended the International Women’s Media Foundation 18th Annual Courage in Journalism Awards last night swimming in a black pantsuit and Louboutin pumps. Still…there’s that face. A face gaunt and tired and maybe even a little queasy from possible pregnancy but still a world class face nonetheless.
Angie presented an award during the ceremony and word is she was warm to reporters on the line, chose only to speak with a select few outlets, and, perhaps wary of what happened last time her team tried to control the media, she firmly but politely refused to answer personal questions, even when several photographers shouted out the baby question several times. This time, no massive security drama and getting into pissing matches with journalists having to sign contracts.
Good move.
As for Brad, apparently he’s thrilled to be back in LA, is loving the stability of their home life, and is especially impressed with studio daycare for Pax and Miss Zahara. Buzz continues to build about the Second Coming …will keep you posted.
I think that AJ had many many more fans that she thought and we all cringe and held our breaths, during the BBT years. I pesonally was kind of disappointed in how she looked when she got her Oscar. All the previous up until then led me to believe that she would knock it out of the part for the Oscars. O well I forgot about it when she won the darn thing…I’ve been a fan from GIA days.

#112 - Notice that beauty is the first ‘quality’ mentioned on your list. She hit a genetic jackpot - it’s not worth mentioning. Do you honestly believe that she’s the only one with compassion for others, the only one who is generous, the only person who is successful in Hollywood. I won’t address “changed for the better”, because neither you nor I know if that’s the truth.
I actually think she just learned to keep her mouth shut to the press about her deviance. Whether it was for her career or for her kids’ sake (hopefully it was for them, they have some VERY interesting reading about her in in store for them in the future. BTW), I’m glad she either wised up or was advised to keep it on the down low. As much time as she spent convincing the world that she was a wild child and this was just ‘her’; if it really was, do you honestly think that just goes away? BTW, this wasn’t teenage behavior, this was just a few years ago.
