Zanessa’s Starbucks Java Fix
Cute couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens pick up coffee together at a drive-thru Starbucks in Beverly Hills on Thursday afternoon.
The High School sweethearts drove around for a bit before Zac dropped Vanessa off at home.
Earlier in the day, Zac, 20, attended a business meeting also in Beverly Hills.

One theory could be, Zac gave her a shared credit card. I work for one, and it happens alot between serious couples.
Another theory, they have a shared account and that she handles their money. It’s a Filipino thing, where the women handles the money.

Like I said in the last post they seem like they are just friends to me and with that said maybe it was her time to pay for coffee. Yes, I know they are dating but to me and this is just my opinion they seem more like really great friends. They were on E News, Access HOllywood, Extra, you get my point. They really made a commotion being out together holding hands. After that big night there was a report they were ready to take the plunge(get married) as they were seen at a jewelers. It was reported they were looking at engagement rings. I would say at that time Zac took his ring in to be cleaned, resized, or MAYBE something was engraved. I kept waiting to see if he would have it back in about a week because most of the time these kinds of things take about that long.
OK, SO now Zac has his ring back on—oh, thank goodness—but Vanessa’s is gone. Would it not SEEM logical that now hers has been taken to the jeweler to be cleaned or engraved(I would doubt hers needs to be resized.). Frankly, since hers is gone now, I would take a guess and say they may have added some engraving to it. It will probably take the same amount of time unless she just forgot it. I just think they know how everyone is about the rings so they didn’t want to have to hear break up rumors running all over the place and that’s what it would have been if they both ended up without their rings at the same time.
Lastly, this may be very picky and I might have things under a microscope but did you notice that Jared said they drove around before Zac “dropped her off at home”. He didn’t say before Zac dropped her off at “her home”. I usually have found that is how it has been worded before in article “her home”—meaning her mom and dad’s. Mmmm, just wondering.

v’s mom is a filipino, and filipinos are very conservative, being predominantly catholic and all. so i agree with wedding peach that gina is permissive but only up to a certain extent. sleep-overs are ok.. but i don’t think they live together considering v’s house is just blocks away.
i gues gina allows her daughter to spend alot of time with zac because zac’s family is far away and he gets lonely… and i guess she trusts them both a lot.

I’m more than sure that Mama G raised a good girl but this young woman obviously is old enough to be intimate with this young man and has been known to at least stay over at this place at times. Her mother has picked her up in the morning from Zac’s. She has travelled the globe with this young man. Why can you accept that but not invision them possibly living together. Do you think Mama G can also handle her daughter staying with Zac for a night or two and travel with him to Australia but be opposed to them living together? It seem to me that Mama G as well as Papa G and Papa D and Mama S has pretty much accepted this situation probably because they have little say in it.

I agree with you czar #240. That’s also why I think they both use their iphones when they are being photographed by the papz. It gives them something to look at rather than looking straight into the cameras, yet it doesn’t appear rude or arrogant to the fans like if they were to totally hide their faces. Using the iphones is a techinque that still allows them some control over their privacy. What do ya think?

I’ve said this before and I think it bears repeating again, Vanessa and Zac are legally adults. They are past the age of getting grounded if they misbehave. Zac is on his own. Vanessa lives with her family because she chooses to, but is free to move out if she chooses to. I don’t doubt since Vanessa continues to live under her family’s roof it means respecting some rules, which is as I’ve pointed out before is probably why Zac isn’t seen leaving the Hudgens residence in the early morning hours. But when Vanessa leaves the house she and she alone is responsible for her own actions. The same as I don’t need point out is true of Zac.
So all Mama G and Papa G can do is give Baby V their love, moral support, and guidance and hope she listens. The same thing is true for Mama S and Papa D where Baby Z is concerned.

I agree with you karen. My parents are the most conservative people in the planet. They’re the epitone (sp?) of filipino values and catholism. But living here in the states, they know that no matter how much they’d like to try to instill those same values in my head and my siblings heads…they know they can’t stop me or my sister from getting intimate w/ our boyfriends before marriage or w/ the living together arrangement. It happened with my younger sister. And instead of disowning her like what my mom’s parents almost did with her, they’re trying to be supportive. The disappointment is still there, but at least they’re still there for us.
And really…I don’t get why people think these two are too young to live together. Are you guys seriously not looking around you? Hawaii is surrounded by asian communities, and I can tell you…I’m in my middle 20s and out of all my friends I’m the only one that doesn’t have 2-3 kids, married or living w/ their boyfriends. 18 and 19 isn’t that young. In the philippines, students actually graduate out of high school at the age of 16. (it’s because we don’t have middle school) So, by the time they’re 20, most of them are graduating college…and this is only if you actually have money to go college. The rest are already married or getting together w/ someone. And looking at Gina’s family w/ 11 siblings. Well…I don’t think she’d be shock if Zac and Van ever decide to live together soon.
Well…that’s my take on this.
I can tell you as a parent, that if my boys choose to move in with their girlfriends when they are Zac’s age, I am not going to have much say in it. Troy is right, they are adults and all we(as parents) can do is support and love them the best we can.
I personally would rather see my kids live with someone before marrying them, for more reasons than I have time to type. :-)

I doubt that we would ever see Zac leaving the Hudgens’ home in the morning, though, because he does have his own place. He really would have no reason to stay there and having his own place gives them much needed privacy. Zac was raised very strictly and has even said it was hard for him to have friends come by his apartment so I don’t think he would ever consider going to the Hudgens’ to be “with” V there.
I think it was this past weekend that one of Zac’s neighbor’s insisted that they live together. I don’t really think they are together all the time(every night) as they may not be ready for that. They have taken their relationship rather slowly and I think they are still becoming used to each other in this way now which is probably a very smart move. It’s one of those too much too soon…well, I don’t think that would be a good thing.

Maybe what I should have said is, NONE of us know just where they are in their relationship. They certainly don’t tell anyone. We only know what we can observe from pictures.
I have friends who have been living together since before high school graduation (by the way, that was 20 year ago. LOL) They are still going strong. So, even thought Z & V are very young, they aren’t going to do anything they aren’t ready for. Fear not!

Their situation and the way they are, really reminds me of my sister and her bf. Before they officially lived together, they were like that. My sister would come home sometimes, at least just to show her face to my parents and then she would sleep over her boyfriends house. Even now, with their own place…my sister still comes over the house as if she lives here. Her bf would come and pick her up and then drop her off.
Not saying that this is Zac and Van’s situation…but it’s similar. *shrug*

But 8AM will be here at some point and then I have 2 other jobs to do, believe it or not. Then I will go home, sleep a few hours and come right back her to work tonight at 10PM. BUT good news, I have thie weekend off—that is if the person I trained earlier tonight is willing to work this weekend. She says she is so we shall see.

V might be staying all night at Zac’s place, but I seriously doubt that she would officially move in with him, as in live with him as his wife without the benefit of a ceremony, sign a lease in their names, share utilities with both their names on the account, open a phone line with their names listed on it, open up a bank account with both names on the account, etc. That’s what I consider moving in together, and in conservative Catholic-speak: living in sin. And she’s a teenager to boot.
Her parents might be ultra-hip and accepting of that lifestyle: moving in together, but again, I say highly doubtful. Her parents home-schooled her, her father has mentioned that he’s sat for hours on end parked outside of her dance studio, and her mom accompanied her to various places and appointments at the height of her troubled days. These parents are very protective of their daughters. They probably wouldn’t allow their still very young daughter to move in with a young man, an actor at that, even if he is Zac Efron. I believe that to them Vanessa is still that little baby they took home from the hospital yesterday. And they’re not just going to let her leave her home to move in with some guy, even if that guy is responsible, mature, and proven himself to be an upstanding citizen with a good up-bringing. And he’s Zac Efron.
I don’t care what people do behind closed doors. That’s their business. But vacationing together, traveling to premieres overseas together, spending a lot of time together does not equal moving in together.
So when Just Jared says that Zac dropped Vanessa off at home, it means just that: he dropped her off at her house where her mother, father, sister, and dog live.

It’s great to see thering and chain back both at thesame time, so like many have said including me Zac took them to the jewellers to be cleaned, resized or even have something engraved on his because if you look at it closeley it does look like something has been added, and I always had a feeling that they would both reappear back at the same time.
And with Vanessa’s it’s probably the same thing maybe she’s getting something engraved on the inside or is just having it cleaned or resized after all jewellery does need to be claned once in a while, I’m sure that like Zac’s it will reappear in about a week. The important thing is that she had it on yesturday and spent the day and night it seems with Zac, and they are together on these pictures, and while Zac did’nt have his on they were still together so no worry’s.
And why do they need to be together 24/7 they each have their own things to do in the day and Zac’s meetings are probably to do with work, well all Vanessa would be doing is hanging around waiting for him to come out, I for one would’nt want that, so it’s obvious that she goes and does her own thing in the day just like Zac but they still meet up and then their together on the night. So like any couple you see each other for a while in the day then spend quality time togerther on the night.
I for one am not suprised that we have’nt seen any costume photo’s it just does’nt seem the kind of thing they would do in public, but chose to Hallowean privately which sounds more like them from what weknow.
Great as always to see them together and great to see Zac’s accesories back, I’m sure V’s will be soon as well.
Another thing about the ring situation. Vanessa had her’s on gwhen they were doing their Halloween shopping(Wednesday) but not on Thursday so it would mean if she took it to a jeweler it would be at that time. Perhaps they went and got Zac’s ring and necklace(since both ring and necklace were missing at the same time) and then dropped Vanessa’s ring off at that time.

However, as I said originally, I understand human nature as does God—better than we—and they, as anyone else, will have to make their own determintation on that situation. My parents would have disowned me if they knew I lived with a guy before marriage and I was 30 when I got married! I am not Catholic but had a very strict relilgious upbringing.
I am not here to judge these two. But it would seem they are very much in love and they are young with young ideas. I’m sure their parents understand the place they are in and know what they need is love and support.

Ithink they will move intogether eventally but not for quite a while and what’s the rush, so Vanessa stop’s over at Zac’s quite a bit but she always go’s back to her parent’s house, so I think they are just enjoying the fact that they can go to Zac’s and have some private time and alone time together, and it’s not like they have only been dating for a few month’s it’s been 2 years plus so I’m sure they’re responsable enough to take that step of spending the odd night together, and the parent’s seemto be okay with it so that’s what counts.
I have a daughter and to be honest if she had been with a boy for the lenght of time that Vanessa and Zac have I would’nt have any problems with it becuase to me they would have proven that they had thought things through and done what was needed to stop any accidents happening. To be if you have kids at some point you have to let them grow up and trust them to do the right thing, becuase if you don’t they just go off behind your back and do it anyway, trust works both ways.
And Vanessa has said in interviews that she isnot quite ready to leave home full time and that’s fine I was 24 before I left home and lived with my partner for 2 years before we got married,now we have been togther 21years married for 17 and have three kids, so I’m sure that neither Zac nor Vanessa are going to rush into anything just to please or prove a point to anyone.
And as for the kissing or making out in public is something else I don’t think we’ll be seeing anytime soon and why should we it’s a private thing.

What a strange comment very odd. The fact is Zac is part of her life as he is her boyfriend and when she is not with him or at home with her family she is at the recording studio doing her 2nd album.

At first I thought Zac may have lost his ring and necklace. Now I have to agree with those who think his ring was at the jewlers. I think the ring and the necklace were being engraved. I think Vanessa chose to wear her ring, while Zac’s was being engraved so she wouldn’t freak everyone out about no rings being seen. Now that Zac’s ring and necklace are back and engraved, she sent hers in for the same thing. I think the necklace is new , probably a birthday gift fron Vanessa. I haven’t seen him wearing the one from Paula Abdul lately. He is a star, he doesn’t need to wish to be one anymore. I’m sure he is keeping it as a keepsake though. As far as looking at engagement rings, who knows maybe they were looking maybe not. Only time will tell on that one.:) Again, the photos of them at Starbucks are really cute.

I’m here daze, and lovin the fact that the ring is back. I’m sur V’s will appear again soon. Gregg is M.I.A. he never posted yesterday, but that’s o.k. he’s probably busy and not on Zac watch all the time. I’m not sure why everyone is freaking about them moving in together. Personally I don’t think it would be wise. The busier their schedules get the more time they may be away from each other and V should be with her family. She is a;ways welcome at Zac’s and I’m sure has a boat load of personal things there, but any relationship as young as theirs needs space to grow.

We have to remember that a camera takes a split second shot of whatever, so if they are not smiling in the pic, they easily could have an ear to ear grin right after and we wouldn’t see it. Kinda when you blink and then Boom! your eyes look closed in a pic. So, to speculate that they are sad, mad, upset, constipated, whatever from a split second pic is stupid. We all don’t go around smiling 24/7, so hello, neither do they. And to me Zac looks like he’s concentrating on the radio station.

#324 - well said Dalia! And, as has already been pointed out, they can’t seem to win whether they smile or don’t smile anyway.
As to the living together stuff, they are of the college age and I suspect, as I think Dalia also pointed out, that V has a bunch of stuff there. That’s what my now husband and I did at that time…you get the thrill of having some of your stuff and your toothbrush there, etc. but still go to your own respective homes. You’re not living together exactly, but it’s like testing the waters. All that being said, it’s their lives…we all have our own visions of how they live I guess and we all have our own values and experiences from which we draw our conclusions but none of us “really” knows them. I’d support whatever makes them happy and I think that they are responsible and mature and will make the right decisions for their relationship, whatever those may be.
Another thought…really kind of glad we haven’t seen them in costume from Halloween night. It’s kind of a nice “victory” for them perhaps to maybe have been able to have a night like this when people would have wanted to see them kept to themselves. Not trying to be a hypocrite here…if there were such a pic, I’m sure I’d be on here posting about it with everyone else…just saying maybe this is like Score point 1 for Zanessa (actually, point 1 is probably “hahaha, we have completely baffled them with our ring antics” and point 2 is probably the not kissing in public…you know if they did some critics would have to evaluate their technique or some such nonsense).
324# As you say nobody goes around grinning 24/7 and it does’nt mean that if they’re not smiling in a picture that there’s trouble between them as it’s been said they could have been grinning from ear to ear even the press don’t get every single expression they do.
Even if and when they do move in together I would imagine that Vanessa would still see a lot of her family, and all becuase we don’t see Zac’s family at his place does’nt mean that they don’t pop down after all 4hours away is’nt that long really.

Hi, everyone! I can’t believe that every night after I log off, I miss a new thread and by the next day, there are 300 posts to read through!! Love the pictures, and I especially love Vanessa in that hat! And as much as I hate to admit it, Zac’s hands look sexy when he’s wearing a ring….
Rosielee- I agree that after 2 years, they are capable of making mature decisions. THink about that, people, 2 years. That’s a long time for a couple that age. It only happens when 2 people are so in tune with each other, and completely in love. They have so much in common, and obviously adore each other. When they are ready to move to the next phase of their relationship, trust me, they will.
RELAX- right on…it’s stupid for people to analyze everything. They are together, happy, and busy. No need to read into silly details!

368# At the end of the day it is Zac’s choice who he wants to be with, I respect the family part of your post but I’m sure from the way Zac is he has been brought up properly and I’m sure that includes for him to know his own mind and make his own decisions right or wrong they can’t live his life for him he has to do that.
And considering that he live’s on his own and has done for a while that kinda prove’s the faith they have in their son to lead his own life, but Zac has always said that family is important to him.
I highly doubt that either Zac or Vanessa would stay together for the sake of disney, after all nobody expected HSM to be the massive hit it has become,so if they had only done one that kinda proves your theory wrong as they would have split up by now but they are still very much togrther, for how long only they know the answer to that one, but I for one hope it is a long time, the love, affection and as even Kenny Ortago has said ‘bond’ they have between them is not something that is just for the cameras it’s true and so nice to see in this day and age when most stars their ages are being done for either drugs,drink driving or coming out night clubs pissed up, that in itself is a brilliant indication of what a good upbringing they have both had and the respect they have for each other and their families.

Roman, I highly doubt even if you lived in Arroyo Grande, you would know the Efrons, and how they feel about Vanessa. Nice people don’t publicize their feelings about private family matters. It has been frequently mentioned before, that they are not practicing Jews, and therefore, I find it hard to believe that it would be important to his parents that he be with a Jewish girl. Besides, I believe Zac is agnostic, so he certainly wouldn’t care what someone’s beliefs are.
As far as the comment about never having been fond of “that girl”, it’s obvious you’re the one who doesn’t care for her. As a parent, I would be grateful to have someone care so deeply about my child. Besides, they’re seeing each other; not getting married, for heaven’s sake!!

arroyo grande is a very small town and most people hang out in the same places and know who is the local doctor, dentist, shrink, engineer…etc…david efron is respected here as a professional engineer and that is what i meant by the family is quite prominent in the area…most people are known for their professions and they are decent and educated people so that is what i meant…i actually see his mom in the local stores here…haven’t seen zac though and i imagine he’s not in the area that often anymore…
i dont think zac is actually jewsish…yes hes of a jewish decent he does not practice the jewich religion…this is what i have read somewhere.

yes his family is jewish but he has admitted that they are not religious and there are so many families like that…my next door neighbors are non religious jewish people meaning they do not go to the weekly services in synagogues, follow certain traditions in food preparation, etc…yet they could not remove that jewishness in them since its something that they are born with…and its all part of their heritage….i wonder to what extent their non religiousness is, since my next door neighbors had their son go through a huge bar mitzvah celebration and a grand celebration after that and they still celebrate religious holidays with the big extended family…
If they have extended family living with them in the area, most likely they still get together wwith their relatives and celebrate the major jewish holidays even if they themsleves are no longer religious, just to be with the family epecially if grandparents are concerned…
