Kate Winslet @ BAFTA/LA Awards 2007
The “so class it hurts” British beauty Kate Winslet (in Gucci) arrives at the 16th Annual British Academy of Film and Televison/LA Cunard Britannia Awards on Thursday at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles. The British beauty accessorized with Neil Lane gems and a Roger Vivier clutch.
Kate was named British artist of the year during the ceremony. Congrats to Kate the Great!
Other pictures include Ms. Winslet wearing adorable purple flats arriving in Los Angeles via LAX airport earlier in the day.

Please she’s done tons of better work since then. Finding Neverland, the amazing Little Children, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, etc…Titanic is a distant memory for many.

She is one of the most beautiful actresses of this time and INCREDIBLY talented on top of that. The dress is a little “silver trashbag-esque”, but it just goes to show that her beauty transcends even a not so flattering gown. LOOOVE Kate! Can’t wait to see her in her next project!

Along with Cate Blanchett and Julianne Moore, Kate Winslet is the best actress working in movies nowadays. She deserves all the praise and, hopefully, she will her first Oscar in 2008 for “Revolucionary Road”.
I know…it’s funny I crack up to think of what these people who call these actresses “ugly” look like. My guess if they posted their own pics we might have quite a freak show!

Kate Winslet is one of the few current actresses working that has a rare combo of class and talent that is very inspiring and let’s face it she is much better a role model for young girls and young adults than Unfitney, X-tina and Paris. She is a loving and very active mom, she is very modest, and very low-key. She knows what is important in her life and that is rare in Hollywood perhaps she is that way so much because she is so UNHOLLYWOOD! Take some notes youngins !
