Vanessa Hudgens Back For ‘High School Musical 3′
Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale will reprise their roles in the upcoming feature film of High School Musical 3, according to Us Weekly.
A “substantial increase” in pay will also be given to Vanessa, according to the same source.
“Vanessa is locked for the movie,” a HSM3 says. “She is very happy that the deal is done. The contract will be signed within the next week. It is almost a done deal.”
A close Ashley says of the deal: “It’s done, done, done.”

I am so happy to hear this. I wouldn’t have seen the movie without Vanessa. Glad to see Ashley is also on board. Hopefully we will hear the happy news that Zac has signed on soon!

I have arrived. I’ve just been getting caught up with the thread over the past five mintutes I’ve been on quite a roller coaster ride emotionally speaking. 1. I was elated with the HSM news; 2)Crushed because someone cough Malia cough had to point out the source may not reliable. (just kidding Malia) 3) Devastated because neither Disney nor Vanessa’s camp would confirm it. 4) Then happy and relieved because I realized that neither side will comment until the ink on the contract is dry. To do otherwise just isn’t good business.
I also wanted to comment abit about the money. “High School Musical” is a mega-million dollar francise. It is a mega-million dollar francise because people of all ages all over the world love and connect with the cast. Giving that this will be a theatrical release it will have a higher budget. Therefore it would be foolish of Zac, Vanessa, Ashley and the rest of the cast not to ask for more money. It does not make them snobs or money ****** Anthony. It makes them smart because they are the ones who are going to be putting butts in the seats. The Mouse owes it to them. And they have every right to ask for it.
GREAT, glad to know she is going to do it, I wouldn’t watch HSM 3 if she wasn’t in it.

Hope this news will become real true next weeks! Disney should make the wise decision not replace Vanessa by anyone. They know that HMS3 will be not the same without Vanessa and that will destroy their movie. Be smart, Disney!
