Vanessa Hudgens Back For ‘High School Musical 3′

Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale will reprise their roles in the upcoming feature film of High School Musical 3, according to Us Weekly.

A “substantial increase” in pay will also be given to Vanessa, according to the same source.

“Vanessa is locked for the movie,” a HSM3 says. “She is very happy that the deal is done. The contract will be signed within the next week. It is almost a done deal.”

A close Ashley says of the deal: “It’s done, done, done.”

I’m pretty sure that if it’s Vanessa in HSM3, you can bet that Zac is too. I can’t see them signing without the other in the movie.

look guys the rest of the story..

The movie, the first in the hit movie series to be a theatrical release, is set to begin shooting in January 2008.

Officially, reps would not confirm the casting news. A Disney spokesperson tells Us: “The cast is still in negotiations and we have no further comment.” Hudgens’ publicist tells Us: “There is no deal yet. They are still in negotiations.”

A source says that Hudgens’ movie (and real-life) boyfriend, Zac Efron, will also return for the sequel, though the actor’s publicist says a deal is not yet signed.

Co-stars Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman are also in final negotiations, according to their publicist.

What about the audition she did a couple of weeks ago? JJ- can you find out for us. How long does it usually take to find out whether she got the role or not?

O.K. guys are we sure this is reliable, remember the Skechers report? Don’t mean to be a downer, but with some of this info trickling out I’m skeptical. The article said that re: Zac his publicist did not comment and no deal has been signed yet by him.

I’m sure the entire cast will be back. Unless someone chooses not to return. But if you’ll look at the bottom of the article, no deals have yet been signed. First they say it’s a done deal, then they say it’s an almost done deal.

Magazines like this do make up stories. They have a 50/50 chance of being right.
