Vanessa Hudgens Back For ‘High School Musical 3′
Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale will reprise their roles in the upcoming feature film of High School Musical 3, according to Us Weekly.
A “substantial increase” in pay will also be given to Vanessa, according to the same source.
“Vanessa is locked for the movie,” a HSM3 says. “She is very happy that the deal is done. The contract will be signed within the next week. It is almost a done deal.”
A close Ashley says of the deal: “It’s done, done, done.”

I believe they still have to film the Cheetah Girls Movie first. They have to write a script for HSM3 before they can film it so Jan 2008 is a little bit of a rush. They still have to make all the $$ they can off the marketing for HSM2 before they make HSM3. It took what about 12- 18 mos. between films. This one will go on the big screen so they may take a little longer for them to get all their ducks lined up. They may be ready to start filming Summer of 08 but I can’t see them ready before then.

So glad to hear Vanessa and Ashley are signing this week. I’m sure Vanessa is relieved to finally know what will be going on with her career these next several months. She and all of the cast of HSM 3 deserve the best. Disney can afford to pay them what they are truely worth. I’m sure it will be fun for all of them to be together again and do a theatrical show this time. Anyone know when they start shooting for this? I wonder if anyone beside Zac is in another commitment before HSM 3 is shot? I wish them all the best. They truely deserve this opportunity, and I’m sure it will be as successful or even more than HSM2.
ANd what! Nesssaaa! I knew disney wouldn’t be stupid enough to let her go. If they did, Zac, Corbin, Ashley, Lucas, Chris, Olysea, Kaycee, and Ryne probably wouldn’t have wanted to do the movie without her.
