Via TVGuide: “High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens on Thursday put her best baby feet forward in a bid to make a $150,000 lawsuit go away. Charged with owing outstanding fees to her former lawyer, Hudgens filed a motion — accompanied by her baby-footprinted birth certificate — arguing that she was a minor, all of 16, when she inked her contract with the plaintiff, and thus cannot be held liable. A hearing on the matter has been set for Dec. 5.”

If Zac was so unhappy to be with Vanessa why oh why would he bother to put his ring back on after all the memories that it holdsa and the special meaning that they have for them both so stop with slagging Vanessa off so she does’nt always wear make-up not everybody needs to in order to look nice natural is better for some of us lucky enough to have that kind of complexion ( not me though)but the poor girl can’t win if she put’s it on then she’s all the name’s under the sun and if she does’nt she’s ugly, some people need to look in the mirror at their own complexion before they go insulting other people.
We did’nt even get into the 2nd page before the comments about Zac looking happier without Vanessa started, really these people need to think of a new comment or better still click on another name and stay off this one.
Zac has said himself and so has Corbin that Vanessa is a great girl to have around and is so much fun, and at the end of the day they both have worked with her and obvioulsy Zac know’s her the best unlike us, we only see the press picture’s and who would always look happy having them in your face everywhere you go and watching what you do, so lay off Vanessa unless you know her personally howshe acts without a camera in her face is obvioulsy going to be different then when one is.
And while the lawsuit is going on that’s a worrying time for her, that’s why I hope it get’s sorted quick and does’nt ruin her xmas or birthday she deserves to have two good days at least and I hope a happy 2008, her and Zac should go on vacation again and get away , I loved the Hawaii pictures especially the one’s where they’re lying on the loungers just looking out with Zac’s protective arms around her was so cute, and when they’re sitting up and Vanessa has her hand inside his shirt who could blame her.

Does anyone know why Vanessa needed a lawyer at the age of 16? I’m just curious if anyone knows the details on that. I’m a bit confused on this whole lawsuit.

He once said he wears both boxers and briefs and those actually could be boxer-briefs, which are a little more roomy that tighty whiteys and why wouldn’t he be smiling, he was politely acknowledging the guy who met him at the studio door. Is this a glimpse to the studio where he will be working? Not too far from home, kinda nice.
He lost his ring and had to get another one, Are maybe he was getting it clean.
First, Zac definitely looks excited to be at the studios. I suspect he didn’t know the pap was there because the pictures look a tad grainy which usually means they took it from afar, probably beyond the gates, and blew it up, alot…
Second, TMZ has copies of Vanessa’s court papers up on their site and I took a look. I agree with someone there who pointed out that Vanessa has paid the firm what she believed she owed but that the contract as written definitely did exploit her. There is a clause that says that Vanessa would have to pay $50K for each negotiation plus a percentage on top of that which is ridiculous considering some deals could be low earnings to start. For example, Zac only got paid $100K for “Hairpsray”. If Vanessa got into a contract like that, she’d be taking home less than 50% of the paycheck which is, IMO, exploitation, especially of a teenager. The lawyer himself is a bit on the not bright side for having her sign it by herself but yet smart enough to know that no adult, parent or manager, would allow for her to get into such a poor situation. The fact that this lawsuit also came up 2 years later and during her photo scandal is more than fishy. Yes, if the lawyer truly earned that money and the contract didn’t seem to try to take advantage of a 16 year old, I’d say yes, she should pay, but not when you look at the finer details here. Good for Vanessa and her team to stand up to this lawyer, who I’d like to point out seems to be acting on his own accord, not on behalf of his firm which the contract was with.

VANESSA HIRED AN ATTORNEY TO ADVISE HER ABOUT SIGNING MOVIE CONTRACTS AND OTHER AGREEMENTS. SHE WAS ONLY 16 WHEN SHE HIRED HIM. THE ATTORNEY HAS NOW FILED A LAWSUIT AGAINST VANESSA, SAYING SHE OWES HIM MONEY ($150,000). VANESSA HAS FILED A COUNTER SUIT, STATING THAT SHE WAS NOT OF LEGAL AGE WHEN SHE SIGNED THE CONTRACT.
Ok, nevermind. I read the court papers from tmz.com. Awwwww, Vanessa’s birth certificate. She is such a sweetheart.
That “lawyer” is scum. Bringing this up after that incident? SCUM!
