Orlando Bloom arrives at the gallery opening for Antarctica: The Global Warning at the Jan Kenser Gallery on Friday in Los Angeles, Calif. The man below with Orly is his cousin Sebastian Copeland, who took the photos in the exhibit and book.
Back in January 2007, Orlando boarded a Norwegian icebreaker bound for Antarctica. The three-week trek offered no luxury to the star, who slept in a tiny bunk and took orders from the crew as he worked the frozen deck.
“It was the real pirate ship,” Orly has said. “The boat was an old Norwegian ice breaker now used for scientific research. I slept in a bunk and did the washing up and shared a toilet and a shower with, like, 27 other guys. It was an amazing experience.”

It is indeed mindless fun..just as it is suppose to be.
If I want intellectual conversation I won’t come to JJ…or frankly even to Orlando or his cousin for that.
Him and Sebastian were on CNN, and I have to say, OB’s cousin is hot! That jacket and lack-of-neck sweater makes him look short and that hair is strangely cut and flat… but his eyes look amazing. I wish he*d f***ing shave.
There are LOTS of “he did/she did” PR that make the Miranda-Orlando issue very fishy indeed. My Two Cents: Her agent is a freak, he isn’t THAT naive (he obviously knows and either doesn’t care, or he’s in it too), and they’d make amazing babies. If this is a PR ploy, it’ll benefit them both. Despite her being an accomplished VS model, I pretty much doubt she is very well known among the general concensus (except in Australia). She also wants to act, and sing apparently, so where’s the harm, no?
The thing is, OB gets a LOT of press, even when he isn’t doing much…linked to over 20 women between July-Sept. when he was doing his play. Half of these women AVERAGE people haven’t heard of: Amy Nutall? Big Brother UK girl/Paris Hilton look-alike? Chantelle Houghton? Katherine Jenkins? (Yep, regular A-Listers right there) and most of the press made HIM look like the fool, or the one who got rejected by all these *ahem* classy women… but you’re right in saying this PR could help him too. After all the negative press from “The Crash”.
They’d better watch it though. The very obvious PR can backfire and damage her rep instead of boosting. Plus her (ex) BF’s really hot.
guyana punch after reading these post I’d say “mindless” is the perfect description of half the people here. I don’t think you could give a rats ass about the important things in life your too busy pretending to be an expert on PR. And I seriously doubt you are capable of having an intellectual conversation with anyone anywhere.

Sally you must be new the to Orlando fandom anyone with logical opinions are run off pretty quickly. You have to dumb yourself down to enjoy the convos around here. You might want to try having a lobotomy as most Orlando fans seems to have gone thru this procedure.

Nothing to do with having ‘logical opinions’ as you said. Its just that her opinions had nothing to do with gossip so SHE was the one out of place here. I don’t think it is too far fetched to be discussing celebrities and PR stunts in the same sentence. That is why they live, right?

from these pictures, it looks like he has very poor posture. he should really take care of that with some body work; otherwise, he’ll grow into a hunched over old man very quickly.

Grow the f-ck up you can’t choose the women he dates and he could care less you like her or not. I was actually enjoying the discussion, the people weren’t overly emotional or obviously teens on a rampage. They were adults, and when they disagreed they did so politely and pointed out WHY they thought differently. It was informative, and great to be reading a real discussion, rather than mud slung or emotional, jealous invective from insecure loonies like on Posh or Nicole or Brangelina threads. It is actually one of the more intelligent threads Jared has had — or any blog has had — for a long, long time.
My opinion of Orlando has actually gone up, with such great fans he has!

The only person I know of Orli fans hating on was Kate. I haven’t heard much from them about Penelope or the others. The only thing I see people pointing out about this possible new chic is the VERY OBVIOUS pr stunts that have been played with her.
I’d just like to say that I’m an Orlando fan and we’re not all as bad as some of the others. I could care less about his personal life but I do go on about how good he looks and he looks good here. The jacket does look a little too big but he’s dashing nonetheless.

I saw the video your talking about Evie and I thought Miranda was cute and bubbly. She wasn’t being asked any intellectual questions so she didn’t respond in kind. Orlando seems boyish and giggly sometimes himself. I think they make a good pair but of course some people put Orlando on such a pedestal that no one he’s linked to is good enough.
Miranda was also at the sebastian copeland opening. i saw some pictures of her, they didn’t pose for the photographers, but it’obvious that she was there with him.
go to wireimages and type her name and you will see. I think they are together and it’s good for them. Don’t be jealous orlando is a man he needs to be with a girl. He can’t stay alone for your pleasure.
