Well…you know why right? If you look at Vanessa’s lips, only her corners have lip gloss. It means, they must have done some lip locking while the cameras weren’t there. *wink*

Steph, Go sox, It’s funny I was going to post the same thing that you guys did in #110 and #111. So see, lp, you made a point. You definitely don’t post vulgar things and I for one appreciate that. However, for the life of me I don’t know why you’d think they are just friends. Why would they be the only two hanging with each other every day. They are both young and beautiful people. At both of their ages I’m sure they would want to be with a member of the opposite sex for more than just friendship. These two are together night and day.

I don’t mean to throw cold water on the Zanessa parade, but if you look closely it appears that they are probably just momentarily responding to a paparazzi request to “hold hands.” Out of the 25 pics, 11 of them have him holding her hand, and they are all within one or two strides of each other. In other words, they start out apart, Zac’s left leg steps, then his right, then they are back apart.

I’m just trying to show that it’s impossible to see how “in love” they are by paparazzi photos. For all I know, they could be walking to the church to get married, but it’s still all speculation. Only they know for sure.

lp, again, if you don’t think these two have chemistry, who do you think does? Honestly, I may not have thought they did either, had I only seen the pics the paparazzi take. But if you’ve seen HSM1 or 2, and seen some YouTube footage, you may change your mind. I guess of any point you could have made, their chemistry is a tough one to argue.

i looked thru all the posts and had some thoughts -

lp - i can see what you are saying. they definetely were looking totally into each other in hawaii, but they didn’t know the papparazzi were onto them at that point. to be honest, i have not seen zac look very happy in any pap. pics ever. i don’t think he likes the papps following him around. i think its awkward to be super all over each other with cameras pointed at him. he’s actually looked happy in more ‘legit’ photos with vanessa at various events etc. i have NEVER held hands with any guy friends, so i truly feel they are more than friends. i barely hold hands with my husband! just not into public pda. ANYWAY, while i can see where you are coming from, i respectfully disagree, but you are absolutely correct, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

lp - you should watch this video over at x-17 where the papps follow zac into a parking garage and also one video at the airport. the poor guy is just totally stalked by the papps. i think that is part of the reason he is not smiling much.

anyway, psyched about vanessa in the movie and her and zac are so freaking cute! also, its hard to smile when you are kind of aggravated, and when the papps follow him around and interrupt his dates with vanessa, i think its probably aggravating. look at heidi/spencer on the hills! those two are always posing for pics with these huge smiles on, but they were literally ‘casting’ for their wedding, so i am not even sure if they are a couple or not! its all for tv!

Ah, we who have followed Zac’s career and his . . . hmmm . . . “friendship” with Vanessa have seen the chemistry. Subtle looks that sizzles hot enough to set a room on fire. Of course they tried to keep the relationship a secret, but how could they when their feelings showed in their eyes? I’m sure they wish we hadn’t caught on so that the paparazzi wouldn’t be following them around asking them stupid questions.

Any intimacy they share should be private and not a “put on” to prove to the world that they have chemistry. Remember, these two are not “Hollywierd.” They’re down-two-earth people who want to live a normal life without having someone who doesn’t even know who they are analyzing every move they make.

I have to agree with all people who say that Zac is not smiling that much in pics with Vanessa, because he is in his protective-mode. Remember that vid of his bday? Right after the pap asked her if Disney dropped her, Zac said “woah, woah, woah” really loud. And yes that could be the reaction to the paps getting too close, but I think he heard the question (which is why he looked so angry at the pap afterwards) and he wanted to give her the chance to not answer that question and just walk to the car.
It just shows that he ALWAYS watches out for her…

Just to add to what others have posted here, Zac has said in interviews that he is very old-fashioned when it comes to how he treats a lady. He compares himself to how guys were in the ’60s. He very much believes it is his job to open doors, protect his lady, and
behave with honor, courtesy and high-minded consideration to a woman.

If you look at the pics, it is clear that he is “busy” doing his job. He looks like a man with a mission, so to speak, cuz he is focused on getting Vanessa into the restaurant with a minimum of hassle from the photogs or fans around them.

Don’t know if any of you have ever seen Chelsey Lately on TV. On one of her shows she went with a paparazzi and he was telling her how they did it. And, yes, they do follow stars in their cars to where they’re going. This one she was with said they know where the stars hang out. Well, since Zac and Vanessa don’t hang out at those places, it seems there’s a new set of paps who follow them from his house to hers and wherever else they go. Must be scary. I wonder if they have nightmares and decide to stay inside for days on end to avoid it. I think we got a good feel of what it was like on his birthday with all the flashes going off.

I agree, Maila. #389 Did you see the video of the last time Zac was going to Aroma Cafe? The photog was running in front of him to try and take a pic and she tripped over a table, knocking things over. Meanwhile there were other photogs that were still taking pics and yelling at Zac and crowding him. No one stopped to help the fallen photog (at least what I could tell) and Zac was the only one who said, “OH are you alright?”

Zac definitely is more tense when the cameras are flashing and photogs are trying to step in front of him, or chase him. Understandably, any one of us would be too.

I’m always praying that Zac doesn’t loose his cool and sock one of them in the mouth the way Pierce Brosnan did.

They seem to be getting overly aggressive lately. One kicked Lindsey Lohan, and her bodyguard kicked him in a place where it hurt. And last week Jessica Biel attached them with an umbrella for pursuing her. And the gossip rags are printing picture of her and Justin saying they never smile and one had a headline questioning if they were going to a funeral because the looked so glum. She told them they need to get a life.

The only person who seems to like them is Britney.

The one good thing Zac and Vanessa have going for them is that they don’t go to Hollywierd hangouts. Maybe trying to still be normal kids will help them keep their sanity.

I’m probably going to get some flack about this, but here it goes…I think all of you have been a little to harsh with lp. All she/he (sorry don’t know :-) ) stated, was that they did not see the chemistry. There’s nothing wrong with stating that. At least lp wasn’t bashing either one of them like the haters do. Some people just don’t see chemistry no matter who it is (case in point, lp doesn’t see the chemistry with Seal or Heidi).

I think that may be a case of not experiencing it first hand. It’s hard to see something that isn’t right in your face (like it was in Hawaii).

All that had to be said to lp was, “That’s OK, we still see it, but thanks for sharing your opinion”.

ricarda, on that video from his birthday dinner at Orso, I think he was saying “wow wow wow!” not “whoa whoa whoa!” He didn’t seem upset at all that someone had asked V a question about HSM3. BTW I think the night at Orso was crazier than usual for them, because that’s in West Hollywood, much more paparazzi-crazed than their usual hangouts in the valley where they live.

Check out the hilarious tmz.com video of George Clooney coming out of Dan Tana’s last night and how the cameraman abandons that Borat actor for George, then comes back. It’s really funny and it also shows how everyone just co-exists peacefully when good humor and fun is used….I love how George handles everyone so well and the Borat actor has a wonderful sense of humor too.

Last night had dinner with a friend from Canada who brought his 11 yr old daughter along.She told me that she liked Vanessa the most in hsm2 but heard from her friends that zac & V had broken up.Told her to tell her friends that it was not true & that I would show her the sites & photos when she comes over to my place next.Also defended V to her dad when he mentioned that pic.I said if u were in yr room alone do’nt u sometimes look at yrself in the mirror in yr birthday suit. Oh, also 465..regarding Nikki…She was so smitten with him so of course you may see “chemistry.” I personally didn’t. It’s so funny but you see the photographs of them for photo ops…but I didn’t see one single picture at the TCA and she was there. You don’t see pictures of Zac and Nikki except when they have to be together for Hairspray. Just my opinion.
