Your family’s so rich with different cultures, do you try to embrace them on a holiday like Thanksgiving? We do. We celebrate Moon Festival for my boys [Maddox and Pax], who are from Asia and Kwanzaa [for daughter Zahara] and things like that. We certainly try to celebrate as many of those as we can and bring in all cultures.

I know this. Because at Saturday press conference, after she saw how exposed she is in the final version of the movie, she said she call Brad to explain that is just computer generated effect. That shows how much she cares about him. and Today’s GMA, when she talks about Brad, she has that happy smile on her face. so I know they are happy. And tonight Brad is going to be on RC with her and support her. You hater,deal with it.

The interviewer asked what they did for thanksgiving anybody with common sense would know that thansgiving is atuomatically for Shilo. But the thing is all of what they celebrate is for all of the kids. It gives them a chance to understand each others culture. The way you are picking apart every word of her innterview really says something about you and it isn’t good.
The celebrate Christmas in Ethiopia(Jan 7th). Each part of the country celebrates it a bit differently, but they don’t celebrate Kwanzaa.
Can I also know why some of the haters write in CAP?

November 23-24-25, Water and Moon Festival
Bonn Om Touk, also known as the Water Festival and the Boat Race Festival, celebrates the reversing of the current in the Tonle Sap River and marks the beginning of the fishing season. Boat races are held on the Tonle Sap River in front of the Royal Palace . Dozens of colorful dug-out row boats compete for prizes and honors. People and vendors line the river- front to watch the races and the whole area takes on a carnival atmosphere. The best views of the fes- tivities are at the restaurants such as the FCC and California 2 overlooking the river. .

I’m an Ethiopian. We celebrate New Year, Christmas & Easter (christians), Ramadan, etc. I didn’t know anything about Kwanza until this morning. But I remember reading an interview with Angelina Jolie in Hello magazine last year that the Jolie-Pitts celebrate Christmas on Jan. 7 as well like us. I have to say that I was really impressed to hear that. Anyway, what is wrong with celebrating Kwanza? We (Ethiopians) living here in North America have embraced your holidays. We still celebrate our holidays (as our Calendar is different) since we grew up celebrating those holidays. I’m sure when Z gets older, they will take her back to Ethiopia and let her find out about her culture.

FYI, the moon festival has cultural relevance to the entire east asian region of which both vietnam and cambodia (Pax and Madd’s countries of origin) are part. In addition, both vietnam and cambodia have significant chinese cultural heritage, from which the moon festival originates.
