Celine Dion sparkles in a shimmery number at the 2007 World Music Awards at the Monte Carlo Sporting Club on Sunday in Monte Carlo, Monaco.
The Canadian songbird picked up the ‘Legend Award’ with Prince Albert of Monaco describing her voice as one that “soothes the world’s hearts and creates smiles of love across the face of the world.”

That was funny. I’m not exacly sure how it works but I think the gene for brown eyes is a dominant gene in which case you only need one brown eyed gene from one parent to have a brown eyed child. Blue eyed people have two recessive genes. Both Celine and her husband must have one brown eyed gene and one blue eyed gene and when they had their son they both passed on the recessive gene for blue eyes, hence the blue eyed child. Either that or they’re all wearing contact lenses or I probably don’t knoe what I am talking about. Does anyone remember this from human biology?
Anyway, I wanted to make a comment on this thread because I feel that Celine cops alot of slack for not being ‘attractive’. I think she works well with what she’s got and looks amazing here. The dress is stunning and the hair is looking fabulous.

Man, this woman is turning really hot!! I know she’s always had amazing legs but now everything on her looks stunning. She seems in top shape actually. I guess performing and dancing in Vegas 5 nights a week and for almost 5 years now probably contributed to this top shape!! I’m speechless to Celine Dion looking so HOT!!! She looks way better than Mariah, Madonna and Britney combined!
Celine looks amazing and how she continues at the pace she does just astonishes me. Five sold-out years in Vegas, 2 new CDs in 2007 (D’Elles - her French CD, and Taking Chances), now a World Tour lasting almost a year, night after night belting out songs with all the vocal power she has, and dancing as well. Plus, she’s a mother, a wife, she has several perfume lines, and she works hard for lots of humanitarian causes. I think she’s one of the greatest women around today. Girls could have a lot worse role models -like Britney and Lindsay.
As far as Rene Charles having blue eyes with both Celine and Rene having brown eyes: it is genetically possible. “Iris” got it right. Brown eyes are dominant, blue eyes are recessive. So if you have one brown eye gene and one blue eye gene, you will have brown eyes. If both of your “brown-eyed” parents have one brown eye gene and one blue eye gene, they can each give the blue eye gene to their child, thus the child will have blue eyes. I hope that clears that up.
