I like Vanessa but media attention has nothing to do with talent. Look at Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag.

um…why can I not defend her ‘oooooooooo’? The pic is 2-4 years old. Have you seen any scandal that Vanessa has been doing besides that pic? You see her drinking? Do you see her partying and changing boyfriends all the time? Or, do you see her going out everynight at a bar, puking her guts out? The answer…no. So, why should I hate on her?

As for your other arguments, you might want to go back and re-read it. You’re contradicting yourself.

And I’m sure that when you were 14-16, you were very mature about alot of things and didn’t do anything bad. You must have been a saint. God would be sooo proud of you.

Except I can. I believe what she did by taking the picture was not a good thing to do, but I believe in forgiveness, and I believe in people. I believe that people are kindhearted and good and make mistakes that can be pushed aside if they have good intentions as human beings. I don’t know her personally and I probably never will, but when I see her, I don’t see a conniving person, or a rebel, or someone who is looking to follow the wrong path in life. I see a promising young woman who made a mistake and I, as a kindhearted person, forgive her for it and I choose to set it aside and admire her for the great things she does and the great person she seems to be. So yes, I can still find ways of defending her and within myself, I am positive that I am doing the right thing. It is ok if you think differently though. You may not see her positively anymore and that is fine. We were all made different.

And I don’t consider a fight. If you do then we are clearly on different levels of thinking or rationalizing.

Emma got cast as Hermione when she was 10. She was in film at a younger age than Vanessa. And being a main character in Harry Potter is much more of an accomplishment than a small role in Thirteen, Thunderbirds, and High School Musical. And Emma’s got two movies coming out soon, as well as filming Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. What’s Vanessa done, besides her Disney-label album[s], since HSM? The Suite Life of Zack and Cody? Cool.

To be honest whatever she does she can’t win .People who dislike her will look at one picture and judge her. If she smiles she is attention ***** , if she does not smile she is a moody *****, if she steps out of her own house and the Paparazzi take pictures she is an attention ***** Etc. She is just getting on with her life and doing what she has done in the past the hang with her boyfriend , hang with her mother & sister doing the mundane things she has always done is just that the paparazzi follow her more then they did before because her picture posts in sites like JJ get a lot of comments so that’s why her pictures get posted because of all of us who comment on it. Also what some people seem to not realise is that these Paparazzi are in her face interacting with her and asking her questions so what can she do but give them a small smile to acknowledge them and show she is not being rude by ignoring their existence when they are right in her face. If some of you haters saw the videos you would see what I am talking about.
