Marmaduke Grylls: My Dad is a Bear!
Survival expert Bear Grylls plays with son Marmaduke, 19 months, at the Hard Rock Cafe’s celebration for the Step It Up campaign on Tuesday in New York City.
Bear, 33, is most well known for battling the elements at various locations around the world on Discovery Channel’s Man vs. Wild. He was also seen posing earlier today with British singer Natasha Bedingfield (pictured below).

I love Bear and his show. His family is adorable and they look so sweet and happy together. His personality shows through in these pictures the same as on his show.

My fav. animal is bear (I do prefer babys though), and my fav. stuffed toy animal is bear and I do like Mr. Bear Grylls. He’s quite impressive, with British accent, excellent surviving skills, and he certainly has a HOT body. Yup. No doubt about that. He’s quite young though he has two sons already! Sheesh. When I first started watching the show, I thought he was single. Oh well. Good ones are always taken early or turn out to be gays.

yeah the name sucks-your opinion. but think about it, people do use nick names growing up and stick to it, so he might be going by ‘duke’ besides there’s nothing wrong with name. what’s in a name? nothing! the bearer (no pun intended) of the name makes it what it is. you don’t just don’t know…..

Marmaduke is an unfortunate name but he can always do like his daddy whose real name is Edward hence Teddy(bear) hence Bear! Hopefully it won’t be too late by the time he decides to find a more friendly nickname for his own safety!

as for people thinking he went to a hotel during his shows, who cares? can you imagine eating a freaking LIVE fish for television, open up deer or buffallo for their skin (he slept inside it’s skin), eating a living frog. he’s amazing man.

Bear never said it was a show about HIM surviving. It is a show about survival techniques. He has nothing to prove to anyone, as his accomplishments stand without challenge or question. Good man, good family, good show. Now if only they would stop blocking out the nice bits when he gets naked……

i don’t know for sure about the hotels and stuff like that, but you can tell from the things that bear does that he’s a tough son of a *****. he’s pretty damn good at what he does-they have a disclaimer at the first of his shows that says that sometimes he gets help when he ends up in a real dangerous spot–all of that **** looks pretty dangerous to me
