The mother-of-four was seen having a laugh with director Clint Eastwood.

I watched Extra interview over and over. I love Jerry’s questions and love Angie’s answers. Brad and Angie want more biological and adopted children and they are working on it. They are working on the baby-making. sweet. Even if she is not pregnant now, she will be pregnant very soon. I cannot believe Angie from don’t want any biological kid to one bio kid to more bio kids. ‘Beowulf’ battles and Angelina Jolie approval
From CNN Entertainment Producer Douglas Hyde in Los Angeles:
Monday night’s red-carpet premiere of “Beowulf” turned out to be interesting for a number of reasons.
“Beowulf,” as you might have read, is an animated version of the classic tale that some of us were forced to read in school. And if you think the story was full of histrionics, you should have seen the premiere in L.A.’s Westwood neighborhood.
First off, the “Beowulf” people went all out. They closed off an entire block. They built a big, rocky, spooky papier-mache edifice that said “Beowulf” and had dry-ice fog swirling around it. It was exactly as the studio desired: very dramatic.
Meanwhile, there was also some drama going on in the penned-in area where the media has set up, waiting for the stars to come by.
At red-carpet events, there’s a pecking order to media locations - first spot goes to “Entertainment Tonight,” then “Access Hollywood,” and on down the line - and one of the down-the-line names wasn’t happy with their spot. They left in protest. Then another media firm got into an argument with a TV network, siccing security on an employee. The employee wasn’t happy: “What goes around, comes around. I won’t forget this!” he said.
After that, the stars were almost an anticlimax. Almost.
Ray Winstone arrived first. In reality, Winstone is 50 and, if in decent shape (he’s a former boxer), he’s not Mr. Olympia. But in the movie, he’s a 20-something animated hero with six-pack abs. He told CNN that his wife said that’s what he looked like 30 years ago, but he thinks she’s just being kind.
And you might be interested in one of Winstone’s next films: “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.” He said Harrison Ford still has it, and when Ford cracks that whip for the first time, you’ll get a chill down your spine.
Then it was on to Crispin Glover, who voices the monster Grendel in the movie. Glover, as you recall, is known for playing George McFly in “Back to the Future” … and for being rather, uh, eccentric. He arrived with a jacked-up Tiny Tim hairdo, starlet on his arm, and chatted away as we heard all this commotion in the background. The reason for the noise? Brad Pitt and “Beowulf” star Angelina Jolie, of course. They’d arrived, and the media trembled.
After short interviews with Anthony Hopkins and John Malkovich - the latter acknowledging my greeting with “Hello, Doug from CNN” in that breathless creepy assassin voice from “In the Line of Fire” - we met Jolie. She couldn’t have been nicer. She took one look at my Steve McQueen jacket and exclaimed, “Nice jacket!” Which of course, totally made my week. When one of the world’s most beautiful women digs your wardrobe, you must be doing something right.
Look out, ladies: I am now officially Angelina Jolie-approved!
All just another day at the office, of course.

I wish there is a way we could drum beat Angie and especially Brad’s excellent work for AMH and TAOJJ for the oncoming awards.

Jolie is still a strong contender for Best Actress and a lot of that has to do with her magnetic quality as a person. Both Brad Pitt and Angelina will be Golden Globe nominees, take it to the bank. As far as Oscar goes, it will depend on whether or not their very public lives splashed all over magazines will overshadow their work. That is something we won’t know until the season goes further along. There is no other reason I can think of that Angelina would be counted out.

LOS ANGELES — The millions upon millions of men (and many women) who wouldn’t mind seeing Angelina Jolie’s body in its barest form are in for a bonus — they can now get even closer to the “Beowulf” beauty thanks to the fact that her exposed flesh is all three-dimensional.
“I got a little shy — I really wasn’t expecting it to be as … I didn’t expect ourselves to ‘come out’ as much,” Jolie said, referring to her nu de scenes in the new flick “Beowulf.”
“I didn’t expect it to feel as real and so, especially because of the type of character I play, it was funny at first and then there were certain moments where I felt actually shy and called home and just explained the kind of fun movie I had done that was digital animation was, in fact, a little different than I think they were expecting. So I was really surprised that I felt that exposed,” she added.
And it seems the screen siren is so sexy even as an animated mother that she was able to leave co-star John Malkovich without words.
“It’s PG-13, so at least I’m told there are things and adult themes on the Internet that may push the envelope quite a bit further than a PG-13, but we’ll see; I haven’t seen it yet,” he told FOX at Monday’s star-studded premiere. “Of course, I’m excited to see Angelina on-screen … she’s …she’s talented.”
However, co-star Ray Winstone wasn’t quite so excited to see the humanitarian hottie flashing her flesh in a cartoon creation.
“I don’t think there’s anything better than the real thing, to be quite honest with you,” Winstone said. “But she [Jolie] is a beautiful girl, [a] great actress, you know?”

Tom Cruise is still catching his breath over wife Katie Holmes’s stunning New York City Marathon Day performance on Sunday.
“I know, she’s impressive,” Cruise, 45, told PEOPLE on Tuesday night, when he was honored by the Museum of the Moving Image at its annual black-tie salute. “She inspires me.”
Not only did Holmes, 28, finish in the respectable time of 5:29:58, but only a few hours later, looking totally refreshed, she was shining at the Museum of Modern Art premiere of his new movie, Lions for Lambs.
“I said that she trained for three months” to run the marathon, said Cruise, “but it was really only over two months, actually. So, it’s quite an accomplishment [for] anyone to do that.”
Cruise also said that his wife had run 18 miles in Berlin, Germany, where he was filming the World War II drama Valkyrie. Holmes told PEOPLE she ran “in all the different parks that they have there.”
Recapturing the excitement of Sunday afternoon, when he and 18-month-old daughter Suri met Holmes at the finish line, Cruise said, “Have you ever been there at the final when people are running in at that marathon? It’s an incredible experience, actually, to see people coming in. You can see what it means.”
With his first-year wedding anniversary approaching this month, Cruise was asked what he and Holmes would be doing. “I’ve got some things in store,” he told PEOPLE.
Secret plans? “Absolutely.”

She isn’t sickly like what’s her name … Orlando Bloom’s ex girlfriend, who used to be plump. (now she is back to plump) Angie has always, always been very lean. She burns calories a lot since she doens’t have time to sit around and stare mindlessly at sunsets. Then sure you will have to hit Zone diet, yoga and what else to speed up your metabolism. My son is recovering beautifully. He is hardly in pain, except he tires easily. Maybe he will go to school on Friday. I can’t bring myself to dive back into work mindset just yet, but trying. :) First I have to stop binge eating–I notice many parents at the hospital are quite obese (even some nurses), since the only comfort there is to eat. And the hospital cafeteria serves the most fattening food — I hadn’t eaten donuts in so many years! Help! (kidding :) But in terms of this 4-yr old’s appendicitis, I am still in shock and in sort of a denail about it–I still can’t believe the whole thing happened. I shiver at the thought of “if” we were a few more hours late in bringing him in to the ER, since it was perforated…. I stop…

Hey Fans! We have had a bounty of new threads lately! I’m still getting caught up on all the comments and extra pics and links posted. Thanks for so much extra posted by all the fans.
One thing I do want to comment on to all you Brad bashers. So what if he has some pics where he isn’t smiling? You need to remember this is his JOB. Do you go to your job happy and smiling every single day? Do you not have days when you just don’t want to make the effort? So does Brad. He has been doing this for 20 years. While we might think being the star at a premier is just sooooo thrilling it is very old hat for him. No telling what he had been doing all day, maybe he was tired. But he still came out with his woman to support her DOING HER JOB, no matter how he felt about it at the moment. THAT speaks louder to me than him getting caught in a few pics looking less than thrilled to be there.
But this shows they are caput as a couple? I guess I need to get out my lecture on PROJECTION again. Because I have seen the most rabid case of projection all over these threads that I have ever seen.
How long are you going to waste your energy projecting your unhappiness onto this couple instead of going out and doing something about your own problems? Because all this energy you are wasting on Brad and Angie isn’t changing them one bit. And it sure isn’t making your life better either.

#377 Alexandria - I read your post and now I am inspired to share my Beowuld RC night.
I arrived about 3pm and the crowd was starting to build up. I found a good spot across the Bruinn Theater.A few hours later a limo parked infront of me and I was so pissed off but did not want to change spot coz I was right behind the police fence and already had a good view.
B&A arrived almost 7pm. When they got off the limo, they crossed the street to where the crowd was and walked towards my end! I guess I stopped breathing! - but the people behind me started to push and the fence’s leg slipped off the curve. I had to hold on the limo’s rear to stop from falling. Angie backed off a bit and Brad came to my rescue! He helped me put the fence back in position. I slide my had a bit and slightly brushed his hand. When he walked away, the girl next me & I looked a each other, jaws dropped and we started screaming!
I tell you, they are sooooo much gorgeous in person. Angie’s voice is huskier - she asked the crowd to step back - and her face sooo stunning! She doesn’t look that skinny at all. I tried to absorb evrything I was seeing I did not even get to click my camera.
The crowd started thinning while Angie was with the press people. I stayed and waited until she goes in the theater. There was still a crowd in the Starbucks patio which is next to Fox Theater - 2 theaters showing, Bruinn & Fox are across from each other, the VIPs are in Fox.
Visitors & Brad were already inside the Fox but Angie was still with the press people. She was the last but before she went in the theater, Angie detoured. She went to the crowd in Starbucks. She could not reached the people at the other end because there was a plant box. So she walked to side of the red carpet, had a plant pushed aside and squezzed herself in to get to the fans on that side.
SHE IS INCREDIBLE!!!! I DONT HAVE THE WORDS TO DESCRIBE HOW MUCH I ADMIRE HER!!!

please check with your son’s surgeon before he goes back to school. Wasn’t it only a week and a half ago when he had the surgery? Usually after a major surgery requiring stitches or staples at least three to four weeks before major activity (usually defined as heavy lifting, pulling etc) should be allotted…four year olds are so active and can’t always be monitored at school, plus other children can be kind of rough with each other. Please reconsider or at least talk to the surgeon or ped.
Also didn’t have a chance to comment on your reaction to the nurse and the drawing of blood in another thread…you had every right to interfere…there was no reason for what you described the nurse did. I don’t know where you live but keep this in the back of your memory…in the future ask for a phlebotomist, not a nurse, not a doctor to draw blood. All hospitals in most cities have at least one phlebotomist on call 24/7, they are trained to do exactly what you described and they can do a hundred blood draws in a day. The elderly, children, patients with thick epidermis can be difficult to draw blood, also ask if they could use a butterfly needle, less painful.
Hope your family are all now back to health…you’ve been through a lot. Stay well.

I just want to say that Ange has been filming around me everywhere and I’ve missed her each time. The worst miss was when she was filming on the very street my mother’s friend lives on. Dude or dudette…I hope you’ve seen by now that this story is ALL OVER THE INTERNET and OuttaTouch just reported it first. Indeed Angie earns her A-list status with hard, hard work. So does Brad. These two are not idle. She is looking spectacular. I never get why they say she is too skinny. She isn’t sickly like what’s her name … Orlando Bloom’s ex girlfriend, who used to be plump. (now she is back to plump) Angie has always, always been very lean. She burns calories a lot since she doens’t have time to sit around and stare mindlessly at sunsets. Then sure you will have to hit Zone diet, yoga and what else to speed up your metabolism. She is indeed thin but her muscle tone looks very tight and lean. I bet Brad enjoys great time in bed LOL

On the matter of Angelina being too thin, well, coming from Asia where many young women are really effortlessly thin without even trying, Angelina looks quite normal to me. However, I guess it really is all relative. More than 25% of Americans are obese, ie, defined with having a BMI of greater than or equal to 30. More than 50% of the American population are overweight , defined as having a BMI above 25.
Normal weight is a BMI between 18.5 and 24.9. Underweight is below is having a BMI below 18.5.

The thing is, if your eye is used to measuring a certain weight to height as normal - and normal is actually overweight, then you are really gonna think that people who are on the low side of of the BMI as anorexic, not because they are, but because, relatively speaking, they look thin.
I read that the average height of an american woman is 5′4″. If you are 5′4″ tall and weighed 145lbs, that would place your BMI at 24.9. which is still within the normal range.
If you lose 40lbs and weigh 105 lbs, your BMI would only be 18 which underweight bu not anorexic, defined to be a person with a BMI of 17.5 and below AND HAVING other symptoms, including an excessive fear of getting fat.
So basically, if an average 5′4″ woman lost 40lbs, she would have lost almost 1/3 of her body weight and she is still quite healthy. If you went to the supermarket and bought 40 lbs of PORK that’s a lot of MEAT. And its meat and fat that is lost because our bones, our organs would still weigh more or less the same.
The BMI categories come from the Obesity in America org. But this isn’t gonna stop the LOSIES and tablies from coming to their own conclusions. But for those who want to understand why Brad isn’t feeding Angelina a big mac every night, :lol: its because the science don’t add up. For all anyone here knows, Angelina may NOT even be underweight. Just that she weighs 55lbs less then the average 5′6″ American woman who is at least 10 lbs over weight (170 lbs). Just think 55 lbs is a lot of PORK.

Indeed Angie earns her A-list status with hard, hard work. So does Brad. These two are not idle. She is looking spectacular. I never get why they say she is too skinny. She isn’t sickly like what’s her name … Orlando Bloom’s ex girlfriend, who used to be plump. (now she is back to plump) Angie has always, always been very lean. She burns calories a lot since she doens’t have time to sit around and stare mindlessly at sunsets. Then sure you will have to hit Zone diet, yoga and what else to speed up your metabolism. She is indeed thin but her muscle tone looks very tight and lean. I bet Brad enjoys great time in bed LOL

ITAWY. I was just watching one of the entertainment shows, they featured Jennifer Garner and all she could talk about was Violet. When Julia Roberts was honored last week (or was it two weeks ago) all she could gush about was her children. Most moms want to talk about their children because they are proud of them. So what’s the problem with Angelina doing the same? I guess it’s always a different set of rules with Angelina Jolie.

I believe these are just US totals for now as the worldwide dvd rentals and sales would not have come in yet. At the moment, the studios and producers take home 90% of dvd rentals and sales.
AMH dvd rentals in europe and elsewhere are not tracked yet.
Somehow, I believe Plan B won’t lose money from this venture. And if Angelina gets an oscar nom, I think there will be another boost to the dvd rentals and sales. As a fan, I’m really happy for brad and angelina.

ROTFL. Gee…I’m shocked…and the world is shocked. Here’s the thing about Eurpoean “interviews”. If the interview is published and they’re not currently in Europe - it’s a 90% chance it’s gonna be fake. If the interview was done during a promotional tour in Europe, ie, the Cannes interviews for AMH which were held for publication until the movie opened in that country…that’s got an 80% shot at being somewhat legitimate. They have been known though to sometimes “supplement” an interview by BORROWING old quotes, so it’s not even 100% sure to be a legit interview.
What’s disturbing about the European propensity for cut-and-paste “interviews” is that a great deal of magazines published in the U.S. also have foreign editions and that same kind of interview wouldn’t be tolerated here. Can you honestly see the U.S. edition of Vanity Fair, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, GQ, Esquire, Elle, etc., doing this? Not bloody likely. That’s something celebs WOULD sue over. They don’t waste their time suing tabloids, but if VF had done a cut-and-paste interview of Brad’s past quotes instead of publishing that unauthorized photo? You can bet Brad’s next $1200 haircut that Greydon Carter would’ve gotten a hand-delivered lawsuit courtesy of Lavely & Singer.

lylian thanks for the note on BMI and body weight–it was very informative. We also have that high-tech body-fat-assessing scale (Tanita–Japanese). Indeed we don’t ‘look’ fat but we test “obese” with higher content of fat in our bodies! Probably due to sedentary, sitting jobs. My hubby and I tend to drink an aperitif and wine every evening, which must not help either. As for Angie, she is functioning great, working great, there is absolutely nothing to suggest she is ano.
first and last—my son’s wound wasn’t sutured, due to the perforation of his appendix. I was surprised about that at first, but the wound is healing nicely. The surgeons said that he could go to school as soon as he feels up to it, and the surgery was only one week ago today. I might keep him over the weekend and start school next Monday. Indeed the wound is a worry-some with other kids in the class, but he is pushing and shoving already with his big sister now. As for the ‘nurse’ who failed to draw blood from my son’s arm, I think she might have been a phlebotomist–but a very young one at that. Again I just had to get rid of her after seeing my son screaming with pain…. Nothing scares me more than the sight of my children’s blood or the pain in their faces!

lylian, great approach to the subject matter. It’s obvious that those who comment on AJ’s weight and look are coming from a reference point based on their own appearance and of those around them. In Asia women are very slender and American women look grossly overweight compared to them…in fact the average American adult woman appears and is overweight compared to the average women in other countries.
Your numbers are correct, according to UCSF Medical Center(March 2001) and a Harvard Medical Study in 2004 the average American woman is weight 145lbs, size 14, 5ft 4in, furthermore both state 35% or 1/3 of American women are overweight.
If the comments regarding AJ’s weight and appearance are coming from an average American with the stats above, it would be likely their reference point is a size 14, 145lb, 5ft 4inch women and even if they, themselves did not fit that reference, it is more than likely family members, friends, co-workers and what they observe around them fits that average. Obviously AJ is not even close to the average height of the average American woman…this is most important because BMI is linked to height and age…so it is logical to assume when reading such posters, their comments reflect their relative reference point “only” and are not indicative of much credibility even as a personal observation on their part unless they state their factual reference point e.g.”AJ is too thin relative to the average American woman at size 14, 145 lbs, 5ft 4 inches. Of course they have an opinion and a right to state their opinions but often the posters forget that opinions do not necessarily tantamount to fact…as much as they’d like to think that their opinions are the ultimate truth.

I have spent the entire day trying to clean the virus and spyware but still have some pop -ups. Just wanted to warn everyone so that you dont fall victim.

Don’t you have an AV installed? I recommend to anyone out there who doesn’t have an anti-virus - get one. It’s not advised to be on the internet and not have one and the software is cheap. My advise - get an AV and an AV only. Don’t buy those bundled “Internet Security Suites” that Norton & McAfee hawk. They suck. They’re a pain the ass to use and they prevent a ton of stuff that you’d normally want to do. You end up having to disable parts of the program just so you can install software or read e-mail and that’s too much of a hassle.
BTW - Are you sure it’s a virus and not spyware? A lot of spyware/malware these days is confused with a virus.

BDJ - I was at work this morning installing software on a machine and while the updates were downloading I started surfing the gossip sites and saw that story on Page Six and just about bust a gut laughing. Here’s my take on what’s going on with the tabs - The Star now has about 5 ex-OuttaTouch staffers either writing the stories or in “creative” positions, ie, the idiots who come up with these lame-ass story ideas. Star, in a blatant attempt to boost sales, is doing the exact same thing that OuttaTouch did to reach the same sales numbers as US Lies Weakly - lie about the Jolie-Pitts. While Min has uncharacteristically taken the high road, or her boss Jann Wenner has, the other tabs continue to use whatever the hell ideas they can find from trolling the blogs, this one included, to sell their magazines. The ideas they’ve stolen from this blog alone has seen OuttaTouch make up a nearly 500,000 sales deficit to US. So while OuttaTouch gives the J-Ps a break from the big cover story photo this week…look for them to be back on the gravy train next week. Besides, they have got to be pissed to see all of their story ideas turning up in the Star courtesy of their defectors. I bet those German owners aren’t too happy about that! People were leaving because they’re salaries sucked…and taking story ideas that supposedly belonged to the company is probably akin to making off with ink pens from our workplace! LOL!

CMAR - it’s not a big deal. The IMDB ALWAYS has photos as soon as they’re available. They probably uploaded them to Jamie’s profile and when the girl was ID’ed they linked the photos to her profile, too.
Case in point - the night of the O13 Cannes premiere I was at the IMDB looking for some info one who an actor was in AMH. I couldn’t think of his name, but in the credits of the movies if there’s a photo available the IMDB will have it beside the name. When I did the search on Angie and clicked the link for her name…there were the brand new pix of Angie in that yellow dress. We’d barely seen the photos here when I was at the IMDB.
So last night, since Jamie is Angie’s brother and was at the same premiere I’m sure his photos got updated the same time her’s did. Either that or the chick paid someone to do it! ROTFL! Sowwy…couldn’t help myself…

Hey Dina. I was kidding about Johnny Depp’s fans…sorta. I mean that poll is stupid. All 3 of the Pirates movies are available on PPV channels and the first 2 are available on HBO, Showtime, Cinemax or the Movie Channel. If you set your Tivo to look for any one of those 3 movies, they’re on a TON of times each month, that alone would put Depp at #1. Cuz, really, do you think people are TiVoing The Libertine, that Gilbert Grape movie or Neverland? Hellz no. They’re looking for Capt. Jack Sparrow.
BTW I wasn’t kidding about those 3 Ah-nuld movies. Hell, Spike TV alone could make Ah-nuld #1. Just last week they had Terminator, T2, Commando AND Preditor. And I don’t think they were having an Ah-nuld movie marathon because it was a bunch of different days. And T2 was on multiple times! LOL! I remember flipping the channel once and going, “Oh, that’s when Robert Patrick was disguised as the tile floor…DAMN! I mmissed the motorcycle chase!” Another time I stumbled across the early scene where Robert Patrick was killing the foster mother and said, “Oh goody! I can catch the motorcycle chase this time!” So really…why wasn’t Ah-nuld #1?

I looked at her credits at the IMDB. Apparently she used to be or is an dancer who’s trying to break into acting. There’s no bio though, just a list of credits. If she is trying to use Jamie to get a job from Brad, she’s going to have to get in line because Jamie himself has also said he’s hoping to MAYBE work with Brad. Sounds like Angie ain’t into forcing her man to give her family work…unlike a certain ex-wife who made Brad hire one of her Goddess Circle.
