LOS ANGELES — The millions upon millions of men (and many women) who wouldn’t mind seeing Angelina Jolie’s body in its barest form are in for a bonus — they can now get even closer to the “Beowulf” beauty thanks to the fact that her exposed flesh is all three-dimensional.

“I got a little shy — I really wasn’t expecting it to be as … I didn’t expect ourselves to ‘come out’ as much,” Jolie said, referring to her nu de scenes in the new flick “Beowulf.”

“I didn’t expect it to feel as real and so, especially because of the type of character I play, it was funny at first and then there were certain moments where I felt actually shy and called home and just explained the kind of fun movie I had done that was digital animation was, in fact, a little different than I think they were expecting. So I was really surprised that I felt that exposed,” she added.

And it seems the screen siren is so sexy even as an animated mother that she was able to leave co-star John Malkovich without words.

“It’s PG-13, so at least I’m told there are things and adult themes on the Internet that may push the envelope quite a bit further than a PG-13, but we’ll see; I haven’t seen it yet,” he told FOX at Monday’s star-studded premiere. “Of course, I’m excited to see Angelina on-screen … she’s …she’s talented.”

However, co-star Ray Winstone wasn’t quite so excited to see the humanitarian hottie flashing her flesh in a cartoon creation.

“I don’t think there’s anything better than the real thing, to be quite honest with you,” Winstone said. “But she [Jolie] is a beautiful girl, [a] great actress, you know?”

Of course, we know. And beau, Brad Pitt, doesn’t appear to be bothered by the buzz her bare body is causing. Pop Tarts popped the comely couple exiting the premiere hand-in-hand, even smiling at a stunned fan who nearly smacked right into them.

‘Beowulf’ battles and Angelina Jolie approval

Monday night’s red-carpet premiere of “Beowulf” turned out to be interesting for a number of reasons.

“Beowulf,” as you might have read, is an animated version of the classic tale that some of us were forced to read in school. And if you think the story was full of histrionics, you should have seen the premiere in L.A.’s Westwood neighborhood.

First off, the “Beowulf” people went all out. They closed off an entire block. They built a big, rocky, spooky papier-mache edifice that said “Beowulf” and had dry-ice fog swirling around it. It was exactly as the studio desired: very dramatic.

Meanwhile, there was also some drama going on in the penned-in area where the media has set up, waiting for the stars to come by.

At red-carpet events, there’s a pecking order to media locations — first spot goes to “Entertainment Tonight,” then “Access Hollywood,” and on down the line — and one of the down-the-line names wasn’t happy with their spot. They left in protest. Then another media firm got into an argument with a TV network, siccing security on an employee. The employee wasn’t happy: “What goes around, comes around. I won’t forget this!” he said.

After that, the stars were almost an anticlimax. Almost.

Ray Winstone arrived first. In reality, Winstone is 50 and, if in decent shape (he’s a former boxer), he’s not Mr. Olympia. But in the movie, he’s a 20-something animated hero with six-pack abs. He told CNN that his wife said that’s what he looked like 30 years ago, but he thinks she’s just being kind.

And you might be interested in one of Winstone’s next films: “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.” He said Harrison Ford still has it, and when Ford cracks that whip for the first time, you’ll get a chill down your spine.

Then it was on to Crispin Glover, who voices the monster Grendel in the movie. Glover, as you recall, is known for playing George McFly in “Back to the Future” … and for being rather, uh, eccentric. He arrived with a jacked-up Tiny Tim hairdo, starlet on his arm, and chatted away as we heard all this commotion in the background. The reason for the noise? Brad Pitt and “Beowulf” star Angelina Jolie, of course. They’d arrived, and the media trembled.

After short interviews with Anthony Hopkins and John Malkovich — the latter acknowledging my greeting with “Hello, Doug from CNN” in that breathless creepy assassin voice from “In the Line of Fire” — we met Jolie. She couldn’t have been nicer. She took one look at my Steve McQueen jacket and exclaimed, “Nice jacket!” Which of course, totally made my week. When one of the world’s most beautiful women digs your wardrobe, you must be doing something right.

Another day filled with:” I don’t like her but.” “She is so ugly.” “She wants her picture taken.” “Why doesn’t she go away.” There are 42 posts on this thread right now, and half are from trolls. If they hate her so, why do they follow all of her threads? These are the actions of crazy people. Now when she takes off and pictures are not readily avalable the trolls will really start to lose it. They will suffer more than the fans. They will post under assumed names wanting to know why JJ doesn’t have any pics? They will go crazier because they need a jolie/pitt fix more than the fans. We knew this was coming because she so months ago. The haters didn’t believe it. They will suffer. The tabs will suffer. The entertainment shows will suffer. Why, because their aren’t enough interesting other stars to talk about. Peace. :smile:
