Angelina Jolie warms herself up with a cup of joe Wednesday on the set of The Changeling currently filming in Padasena, Calif.
The mother-of-four was seen having a laugh with director Clint Eastwood.
Yesterday, Angie received a special visit from 4-year-old son Pax.

I think they should allow AOJJ to be seen in the areas where it has not been shown and they should close down in places where it has been shown while still maintaining the limited release status in the US. Also does anyone know whether it is also in limited release overseas?

I hope that there’s enough disdain with Warner about the promotional push for AOJJ that they will at least do an extended release. I even thought about a oline letter with signatures and all but I don’t know what would be an extreme or not…I want to see some running commercials on tv as well dvd previews for AOJJ if it goes to DVD and not till around oscar nomination time. A wish is a wish. I remember when Brokeback Mountain was rereleased after it’s oscar nomination so time will tell…

I have been waiting for TAOJJ to be opened in a theatre near me but in vain. I am also wondering if its on limited release overseas or is that just in North america? I wonder what release plans WB has for this movie. They blundered hope they can remedy their mistakes, I kow it did pretty descent in France.
The person who posted the US weakly poll about whether angie was shy, I mean what do you expect from ****? They will make a poll if they as much as hear a rumor that angie burped.
Can someone help me pull out an article that was posted when someone said they think AOJJ should get like 12 nominations during oscars and there was also some suggestions about what fans can do about it not showing in theaters close to where people live.

Briseis, I saw both Jessie James and Michael Clayton, and I am verifying your statements. I love George (or did before seeing the photo of his “gesturing” a table of people in a restaurant), and will always see his movies. Loved the one with CZJ, several others, but Michael Clayton is not a particularly remarkable movie or story, and George was just another version of himself. Has Warner ever issued a statement on their position regarding the handling of Jessie James? Has Brad? He is such a professional, he would never, never whine, but he has to be very disappointed, I think.
I don’t see the sense in US mag poll. It’s like saying I’m hungry and someone does a poll asking do you think she’s hungry or not? How can someone else know except the one who said it. I agree with the person who is angry that the news media did not carry Angie’s award but there is a poll like the one US mag is carrying. Shame on the media!

Good morning! Thank you for verifying my statements. We went out to see TAOJJ at a movie theatre 25 miles from Chicago, which meant the gasoline, the food and the movie cut into the entertainment budget so I did not get to see Michael Clayton, that’s why I had to rely on critics’ comments and reviews of people who saw the movie and posted here.
I also agree with you when you said Brad must have been disappointed. Last year, he never got the Oscar nom for Babel, and even though he helped produce the winning Best Picture The Departed, he never even got a mention from Martin Scorsese (WTF was that? I always thought MS was a classy guy, but only Graham King even mentioned Brad in passing, MS won at Oscars and GG but never said anything about Brad). That must also be very disappointing, but Brad was classy enough not to say anything (unlike Brad Grey who actively campaigned for recognition). That’s what really really made me respect Brad Pitt, his silence in the face of all the adversities in life. After all, in the end, what he has at home tops the tabs, the papz, even his film career.

briseis, I think Brad doesn’t care whether he get award or not. He just wants make the movies he really wants to make. But as his fans, we want his great works got recognized. He deserves Oscar.

I know Brad has said he really doesn’t care about awards, just about making movies he wants to make. But he is also a human being, and to see lesser actors get more nominations/awards has to hurt at some level. Or maybe I am just projecting here. But anyway, we as fans can all just keep hoping that he gets the recognition he so richly deserves. (Maybe if he campaigned as hard as Tom Cruise does? Nah, then that wouldn’t be the Brad we so admire and love!)
