Vanessa Hudgens picks up a late night movie on Tuesday at Hollywood Video in West Hollywood, Calif.
Inside are some screen captures of Zac Efron and costar BFF Nikki Blonsky introducing MTV Japan while promoting Hairspray. The producers of the show took full advantage of Zefron and made him do his special wink!

Hi guys. Do not get to hard on JJ. he has job to post things, and it would look much worse if he posted those pictures month ago. Niki was in LA after Japan and I don’t think Zac spend much of his time with her. Do not forgrt Zac is actor he has to sale himself and the movies he makes, and sometimes it is not an easy job to do.
#70–Malia, I agree with you. I guess even though Zac and particularly Vanessa have been getting hundreds of posts jj wanted to get more. Hopefully he is not wanting his site to be more like X17. He’s been sending us there enough lately.
ZAC AND NIKKI DEFINATELY HAVE A GREAT FRIENDSHIP AND ZAC SEEMS LIKE THE KIND OF GUY WHO CAN CREATE A GREAT FRIENDSHIP WITH ANYONE. I’M GLAD THEY HAD FUN MAKING THE MOVIE AND PROMOTING IT. HE ALSO HAS BEEN SEEN BEHIND THE SCENES WITH VANESSA HAVING TONS OF FUN TOO, BUT IT IS DIFFERENT WHEN YOU HAVE ADDED FEELINGS TOWARDS THAT PERSON AND ARE TRYING TO KEEP THE RELATIONSHIP PRIVATE.
HE HAS NOTHING PRIVATE WITH NIKKI, JUST A GREAT FRIENDSHIP AND THAT IS GOOD FOR THEM.
SO HE WILL ALWAYS BE DIFFERENT WHEN YOU SEE HIM WITH VANESSA AND SO IT SHOULD BE SHE IS MORE SPECIAL TI HIM AND HE IS PROTECTIVE OF THEIR PRIVACY–HE DOESN’T HAVE ANYTHING TO PROTECT WITH NIKKI.
I’M GLAD FOR ALL OF THE RELATIONSHIPS AND FRIENDSHIPS–BEING FAIR TO ALL IS THE MOST MATURE THING YOU CAN DO.

MY TAKE ON THE NIGHT IS ASHLEY DROVE V TO THE STORE FOR MOVIES AND WENT BACK TO ZAC’S PLACE WHERE HIM AND JARED WERE WAITING AND THEY ALL STAYED IN AWAY FROM THE PAP AND WATCHED MOVIES. WHAT YA ALL THINK OF MY THEORY?
zac starts filming seventeen in a couple of weeks, so he is prob. staying home and learning his lines. V looks tired, but hey who looks flawless 24/7?
That Zikki video is cutest thing I’ve ever seen! I love them together! Nikki is just so cute and sweet! I adore her! She’s so great at interviews and she always looks so amazingly beautiful!
I love the way she makes Zac laugh!!

Irish, what a beautiful piece you wrote. Thank you for that. I adore Zac, Vanessa and Nikki as artists, have probably seen HSM 1 or 2 at least 8 times, and Hairspray three times so far! I watch them all sing and dance and marvel that they walked into rehearsals as “a blank slate.” They learned one dance move, then two, then the songs, on and on and on, until this beautiful work was produced, whether it be HSM or Hairspray. The hard work they went through is mind boggling. I wish them all the best.
Some clues for those speculating about the Hollywood Video photos. Jared says this is the WeHo store which is nowhere near Zac’s or V’s residence. They would have many, many closer video stores to visit if they were just running out. Jared also doesn’t say who drove V….was it Zac? Ashley? Gina? One of her non-famous friends? Just wanted to point out that West Hollywood is quite a ways from Zac’s place and if he was with her, they were probably visiting someone else and picking up a video on the way.
I don’t think zac Efron would Ever break up with Vanessa hudgens for Nikki becasue Nikki is ugaly and vanessa is pretty.

thanks to jj for the vid. i laughed so much, when he tried not to laugh and when he made fun of him not beeing able to do the wink in real life. i just pictured him with vanessa failing to do it and the laughing afterwards…
and PLEASE no more of the: “their chemistry is sooo much better” posts… it`s getting old and in some ways crazy… vanessa and he try to keep their private life PRIVATE, therefor they are not all over each other in interviews. i think all our hearts would melt if we would be able to see the real chemistry between zac and vanessa…
he choosed his dream girl and i am very happy for him that he found a friend in nikki.

81# Malia that makes no sense. Now I’m pretty neutral on the zikki/zanessa thing and I can’t stand speidi but just because zac and vanessa are more private doesn’t make their realitionship more real than heidi and spencer. Speidi are grown people and Zanessa are just teenagers, I’m pretty sure Zanessa’s relationship isn’t as mature.

Vanessa does look tired, but still so lovely in my opinion. I can’t tell how late it was when she went to the video store so that could be a factor in why she looks tired. She was also with Zac earlier in the day and that is definitely something else to consider. *wink wink*

I hear you Yvie. Totally agree. And the clothes she’s wearing, they’re the same from earlier. The only difference, the cardigan or sweater. Bet you she got it in Zac’s house. lol. I wouldn’t doubt it if she has alot of clothes there. She practically lives there anyway.
As for why Jared put Vanessa and Zac/Nikki together. Well…place yourself in Jared’s shoes. He’s making off money from hits to his site. And there’d be alot of hits from both fans going back and forth, back and forth debating/arguing/ and discussing them three.

i think zac is a vrygentleman he don’t want women feel awkward around him because he is a hunk,talented and famous. He always said i am just the dude. and thats what the movie all about accepting others inspite of thier colors and size.If act snobbish towards nikki then that will defeat the message of the movie thier promoting in!
