Jake Gyllenhaal strolls down Camden Drive in Beverly Hills holding an ice coffee on Thursday. He eventually hopped into a car where a female friend was waiting for him.
Just last night, Mr. Reese Witherspoon and Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom dined at Japanese restaurant Ita Cho in Hollywood.

I love Jake Gyllenhaal, but as of late, I’ve have seen nothing but disappointing pics of him…he does look on the chunky side…
I think he has put on some weight, but I bet its for his upcoming movie Brothers. Im sure he will shed it once he is done filming. Jake is very athletic.

Jake hasn’t gained weight. It really depends on what he is wearing and the angle he’s photo’d from that makes him look heavier in some pictures than others. And no. Jake lives in a house estimated to be worth 1.75 million, so he is not poor. But he is poor relative to La Witherspoon who gets 20 million a movie. (I think she lives in a bigger house than his, but I have not located exactly where it is, other than somewhere in Brentwood). Look like him? Why? I am happy with my own looks and the fact that I don’t have a tire around my belly.

I think that the lobbies whose suport Jake Gyllenhaal spend a lot of money with paparazzis to take photograph of him. It is important that the press repeat his name again and again. It is way of memorazing and to focus attention of his name in public. It isn’t important if his films had success or not.

Ah devilgirl you misunderstand. I don’t wish to make all male celebrities gay. I suspect Jake is straight, but lots of people say otherwise, so I am open to doubt. As for “stalking”—what nonsense. Have you never used Zillow to find out what various homes are worth? It is quite amusing. You can find your own home and its worth. Why is it more “whatever” to be curious about the house that a movie star lives in than to be curious about his or her sexuality which is something almost everyone here talks about? Have you never heard of Hollywood tours that take visitor past the homes of movie stars? Really you are rather naive and silly and easily “upset.”
Laura, Heath Ledger was miles ahead of Jake in the acting department in Brokeback. Heath’s performance was a classic for eternity. Jake’s was uneven and at times he relapsed into the speech and manner of an upper class kid from Beverly Hills.
Just to let you know: I was visiting California 2 summers ago and went on a couple of celebrity home tours that they offer. On one of the trips, we did go past Reese’s home. So really, I doubt if someone was stalking. THe tours are public for everyone. Its pretty common knowledge where she lives and alot of other stars.
Well, I thought Jake was brilliant in Brokeback. Very underrated. Heath Ledger was excellent but so was Jake. Heath got the showier role but Jake was the glue that made their relationship come to life. It is easier to notice the showier role but what matters is the actor doing all the other work. He was hardly uneven and he kept the accent the whole time. It just changed from Wyomng to Texas as the character of Jack moved.
Hal, when I went to see BBM, I had read some reviews in my country that said the same thing you said. So, I waited Heath was much more better than Jake in the movie. But, to my surprise, in despite of I had liked both, I fell in love with Jake. His role was a gift in the story. And I´ve yet seen another movies of him and I liked his acting, included The day after, where he stole the scene.
Well, in my opinion, he wasn´t less brilliant than Heath in BBM! But, in Hollywood, being a good actor isn´t credential to success.
