BTW, it’s really sad that people have to resort to calling someone “ugly”. It really shows true attribute in a person. Usually attritubes are a good thing. This one is not. Whether it’s in text or not. It’s a shame, actually, how cruel one’s mindset can be. I’d hate to think that people are around people like that everday. They’d have to deal with the cruelty. And eventually people like that will find themselves alone, because they’ve pushed everyone away from them.

This is my 1st post although I’ve been lurking for ages, enjoying the repartee between the loyal ZV fans. I can tell just by reading who is mature and who is totally off the wall lol!

From the looks on the video, It’s Greg that Vanessa was being protective over and not the paps when she yelled out “dad!” I would not want my dad getting worked up like that.

Impressed by the maturity of this site!! Girl you have not been here long enough to get unimpressed by the hate and nonsense that goes on here. That’s a good laugh! This poor girl can’t turn around without a camera in her face and her fans just love it.

#94, I assume you’re referring to me and I was referring to the regular Zanessa posters who always post thoughtful comments without resorting to crude language or insults such as narf, spirit, troy etc. Also, compared to other celebrity blogs I’ve visited, JJ is a dream!

I think this was an adorable father/daughter moment and is a great example of a slice of life. Every teenage girl would be embarrassed by her father doing something like that and it just comes to show you that Vanessa is no different, she is a normal teenage girl, despite her Hollywood status. To me, seeing her go to the gym with her dad, with her friends even, renting videos, going to lunch with her mom, these are normal activities that any teenager and even older do. Of course looking for a house at her age in LA is a sign of her being a star but it’s not a negative one in any means. It makes me believe even more so that she really is more down to earth and is a sweetheart than most press portray her to be, especially after recent events.

This is why I’m a fan of Vanessa, I am of Zac as well, because she seems to be able to keep everything together and handle things maturely, despite past mistakes. I know I committed mistakes in my early teen years that I wish I could erase but unfortunately you can’t and all you can do is learn and move on like a mature individual and that’s what she has done. It’s easy to see also that she must have good morals and a great heart from the charity work/appearances and the obvious - all the time she spends with not only her sister but also both her parents. Teens who usually rebel and cause trouble typically aren’t seen out with their parents with a smile on a daily or weekly basis. That’s something I don’t think anyone has really pointed out. When you really look at this girl, past the gossip and her outer beauty, it’s hard to miss why she is adored by her fans, loved by her family, cared for by friends, and cherished most likely by Zac.

Fire back at me and tell me I’m wrong in my opinion if you need to but I ask you this before you do, are you so wonderful that you can say you love everyone and they love you while also having no problems in life? If you can say yes, I’d welcome the replies, other than that, it’s just the pot calling the kettle black.

True. We get what you’re saying. I’ve already pointed this out many times that we fans are one of the reason why she’s hounded the way she is. Everytime we demand for more pics of Vanessa/Zac/Zanessa, we’re the ones feeding into the paparatzi frenzy because obviously, they’re making big bucks out of her/his/their pictures. But for the mature people out there, we also agreed that one picture a month would suffice.

It’s just that we have hardcore fans who demands/beg/pleads to jared for more, can’t help that because she does have fans of different ages. Of course we can control that by not clicking/viewing/replying to her thread, but really. If we don’t, her thread would be filled with hateful words from little tweens that hates on her. Hence, the kind and supporting words from us.

Disney is all about the money, always has been. HSM is a BIG franchise for them so they will do anything to keep that going. She made the big mistake before she even filmed HSM. People make mistakes. Hopefully people learn from their mistakes.

With regards to Zac, he could choose to be with anyone, but chose to be with her. There must be something about her that he feels is worth it, to have to tolerate all the paps and the fans scrutinizing every second of their lives.

Always forgiving, always with grace. She does what every human being wants to do in this world. Live her life. No one has a right to judge her for who she is and how she lives it.

Everyone deserves love. As long as your intentions are not malicious and deceiving, you are worthy.

zvkg i totally agree. he hasnt been seen for a few days, and for him, thats a long time. he probably is indoors reading his script or he could be spending time with his family. he hasnt seen them in a while i dont think. and molly, you have the right to state your opinion, but you dont make the choice of whether or not zac deserves vanessa. he seems very much in love with her. if you have watched the countless interviews, that zanessa fans glue their eyes too, or the pictures from events and even recent papp pictures, you will see that v and z have a chemistry that many others dont seem to have. i consider them lucky. lucky to be their age, but be a strong couple. after all, vanessa did make a mistake, but it was a big one. you would have thought, like most guys, zac would have left her. he didnt, he stuck right by her side. there must be more than her looks, that he really likes. also, they are coming out more about being a couple. it shows theyre comfortable now and dont care what haters or the media has to say, they know they love eachother. and personally, i think from all the sweet pictures we had of them lately, they have grown closer. so say what you want, zac and vanessa are in love, and i dont think thats going to change anytime soon.

I really doubt that Vanessa and Zac are moving in together. As much as I want to believe it, I just don’t think it’s going to happen. Morning zvkg! I’m so bummed I missed out on all the action last night on V’s previous thread. Off-line stuff to do and when I checked the site before heading to bed I saw that there were almost 600 posts.

Vanessa is a natural beauty and I’m glad that she chooses not to paint her face with excess make-up in her real life. She always looks so beautiful because it’s the beauty from within that shines through and enhances her natural beauty she was blessed with.

As for Mr. Hudgens, I don’t blame the man one bit for getting upset with the paparazzi. Many times they do cross the line and as Vanessa’s father he does have every right to be protective of his daughter.

I find it interesting how such a young couple like Zanessa has managed to get such paparazzi attention as the likes of Brangelina and other older Hollywood celebrities. I know HSM has a huge youth fan base, but I don’t think I’ve ever recalled any other young celebs of their generation getting this kind of buzz. Maybe it’s because Zanessa’s fan base is very diverse in age. I always thought the adult celebs were the money-making ones, but it looks like Zanessa is the exception to the rule right now.

Oh my gawd! You’re visayan??? Wahhh!!! Syt! What a small world. I am too! Came in hawaii when I was 10, and now I’m in my middle 20s. But what a small small world. But you know the saying about Visayans right? hahaha. That’s why I thought V was one too. Because she’s sweet and yet, not that sweet. I don’t know if it’s a Visayan thing, but my mom would always tell me that Visayans are sweet in nature, but wild. It’s been accused that we’re witches too. hahaha. (not sure if the locals would know about it, but yeah…everytime I tell my Ilokano friends that I’m Visayan that’s the first thing they’d ask me.)

Oh Yvie, you should definitely go there, Pinas at least once in your lifetime. The shopping you do there. gahhh!! And if you love the food, it’s even better. You can go to a cuisine restaurant for less than a $100. And the varities of fruits! Yummm! I miss it. Last time I went was in 2000. Still debating about going around May of next year…but we’ll see. My family is definitely going in 2010 for a reunion. But yes, definitely go there.

i hope vanessa get’s one in a gated community so the papz won’t be parked in front of her house i’m happy that she’s getting a house of her own, she deserves it.=)

Most likely Vanessa is like so many actors who have suddenly found themselves with some serious money, she is probably buying a house for her parents. You hear this all the time with stars. And I’m sure she is a very thankful and loving daughter. She knows they have always been there supporting her and loving her and I ‘m sure she is wanting to give back to them now. It would be nice if they can have a little more privacy also.

I seriously doubt she is going to buy a house for herself. Even in Utah while filming HSM2 she says it was the first time she was away from her family and she was somewhat nervous and scared. She says she slept with her bedroom door opened and the rest of the cast understood and watched over her.

If she and Zac would move in together, I hope they would be able to find somewhere that the pap could not have so much access to—particularly going in and filming the place after she has viewed it! I would hope it would be a place that would have a garage where they could just drive into and then shut the door behind them before getting out of the car.

And about Vanessa not driving: Did anyone give it a thought that she has a fear of driving? There are things in this life that seem absurd to some but are of great discomfort to others. I know of something that was just overwhelming to me at one point and it wasn’t anything big to anyone else. Once I did it it wasn’t a big deal to me but for the longest time just thinking of it would overwhelm me with dread so I just avoided it. You would all laugh if I said what it was but my imagination would just go crazy and I couldn’t bring myself to try. Finally my mother just said, “you’re going to do this”. I was in my early 30’s! LOl PLUS, have any of you seen the traffic in LA? If I was just learning to drive that may be a little daunting to me and I fairly fearless—except for the one thing I was talking about. LOL

Lastly, I don’t think we want Vanessa out their driving if she isn’t ready, We don’t want another Brit on the streets!

I have actually met Vanessa and Zac in September and Vanessa was so polite and very obliging. In fact, when I asked for our pic to be taken, she was nervous that the papz would suddenly appear so she hurried me and bo inside their hotel so we could take our pic there instead of being outside. Then later on when she was with Ashleigh, I cheekily asked for another photo. While Ashleigh commented that I already took their picture, VANESSA WAS THE ONE WHO SAID IT WAS OKAY TO HAVE ANOTHER ONE and convinced Ashleigh to get in the frame.

What a sweet, down-to-earth and absolutely stunning-in-person girl! And on another note, Zac just went along without any fuss.

I’m questioning the idea that she’s looking for a home for her parents. If that is her intention, I’m just wondering why her mom and/or dad weren’t with her? I know if I was looking to make such a big investment like buying a home for my parents, I’d definitely want them to be there with me.

Zac has been going without her for two years, I would imagine that in time he has come to know her, good, bad, inside, outside and sideways. Yet after what happened he chose to remain with her. Why? Could perhaps be because he knows her in ways that we here at this site do not? He knows a helluva lot better then you do that’s for sure.

You did say one I agree with if Vanessa continues on the path she’s on: Making albums, signing endorsement deals, auditioning for movie roles, you know basically working hard she’s sure to continue to earn money for herself and her family. That’s the way it’s supposed to work in America.

zvkg, I’m actually Ilosayan, but was raised Visayan. How ironic that you are Visayan too. The world is even smaller now. Do you have any idea where in the PI Vanessa’s Mom Gina is from? I’ve been wondering about that for quite some time now. I’ve heard that there a lot of Visayan “witch doctors”, but never heard just the term “witch” applied to them. I was told by my Grandma that Visayans have the reputation of being “aswang”. I remember her telling a lady that our family is from the Visayas, specifically Siquijor and the woman had a spooked look on her face and said “aswang”. My Grandma just smiled and since she’s mestisa looking I’m not suprised the lady drew that conclusion about her. I’ve been considering a possible trip to the Philippines at least once in my life with my husband and our daughters, but I don’t think I’d venture past Manila if that ever happens because I’m not such a good traveler. I don’t know if I can even handle the 9 hour flight to PI. Plus to get to the Visayas would mean another airplane ride and possibly a boat ride so that would be too much for me already. Oh well, I’ve rambled enough. Sorry about that.

But yeah, goodluck with Manila, it’s one of the places I want to go and explore. The only time I’ve been there was when I was 10, and we had to run around and get our passport and papers ready or when I have to transfer airplanes to get to Cebu. But one thing though…Manila looks like Chinatown (well, the parts that I went to that is). But if you do go, plan it well. Go to one of those tour package, or at least if you know someone from there…use it. Make sure you trust them though. You don’t want to get rip off.
