Zac Efron may not be much like his High School Musical character Troy Bolton but that didn’t stop him from playing some hoops in Los Angeles on Thursday!
Zac, 20, was seen playing some basketball for two hours at a private basketball court. The fitness buff sported a “Pre Lives” t-shirt in reference to American running icon Steve Prefontaine.
“I am not a basketball player!” Zac has said while promoting HSM. “No stunt double, but I’m not that great of a basketball player. I had one real season under my belt, playing with kids who were so much better than me; it was embarrassing, I think I scored two points all season. So, it took a lot of practice to say the least.”

Hairspray’s soundtrack seems a little more professional and polished than HSM2’s. Love the songs “You Can’t Stop The Beat,” “I Can Hear The Bells” when Nikki sings about Zac and “Without Love” which so greatly showcases Zac (LOL at him singing to Nikki’s pic!)
On the other hand, LOVE LOVE LOVE the song “Gotta Go My Own Way” when Zac and Vanessa duet together.

I think its gonna depend on the age demographic of the voters. If a lot of younger people take the time to vote, I think HSM will come out on top. Otherwise, I think Hairspray would be a more popular vote amongst older music lovers. Of course, this is just a guess since I don’t live in the US and I’m not sure how many people the online voting attracts.

We Zac, Vanessa, and Zanessa supporters had a very stressful day on Wednesday on another thread because about every 3rd post—I’m not really kidding that much—was about how Zac didn’t look happy when he was with Vanessa so we are somewhat sensitive about any talk like that today. We are still in fighting mode. But I TRULY I believe the guy would like to just go somewhere with his girl and not feel like it is being documented. LOL We can begin to imagine what the paps say to these two. I think most of them like these two kids but they still are annoying and there is always one or two who can really be rude and ask intrustive questions.
I’m sure you saw the TMZ video of Zac’s birthday where they come out of the restaurant and are blinded by the lights of the cameras so they couldn’t even see their limo and the kids are being nice and the paps are shouting at them like they should obey what these guys are saying to them . Then one starts asking Vanessa if she was dropped my Disney, etc, etc, etc. Here this night was suppose to be a special night for the two of them and then WHAM! as you can see on the video Zac switched into protective mode and just wanted to get Vanessa to the car. It was just craziness. It apparently makes us all a little crazy! LOL
I wanted to send out a warm greeting to Karen because I’m in agreement with you and also because I really admire how you always express yourself so well. I’m honored to be in the company of many wonderful older Vanessa fans.
Just had to look at the clip and your right there is a adjustement going on never noticed before.
Can’t wait for the 19th November event it will be great to see the HSM cast together and for such a great causeI bet they’ll have a fun night and yea hopefully some good picture’s will surface.
It was great to see some new picture’s of Zac not that I don’t like seeing Vanessa I do she’s gerogous just lik the photogrpaher lady told her why hide such beauty, but it is always great to see Zac out and about and giving us such a georgous smile and he looks very happy.

I’ve just voted for Zac for the sexiest eye’s becuase he does have goergous eye’s at this time it’s between Zac and Jude Law which I also like but voted Zac.
That’s gotta be a bit awkward for Zac two films he’sworked on are both up for awards on the same night he’ll have to split himself in two, but I’m hoping that we get more picture’s with the HSM cast as Zac has done a lot of promoting ‘Hairspray’ which I know he’s had to do but I think it would be nice for him to hang with the other’s more, just my opinion.

yeah yvie thats the problem w/ the time diff. We know mostly posters here are from the US. here its 6 pm, im still at work and will go home maybe 11 pm. so when the time i go home and sleep, they will take charge here..yeah lucky we are if during peaceful night there will be no haters.. but you’ll never know, i sometime encountered it.

I think they are trying to take it in stride because if they throw a big fit the paps will only come after them that much more and do even more stuff to try to get them angry. One of the reasons Vanessa’s threads get more posts is because of things like jj did by putting Zac and Nikki in with the one thread. Then even though all of us can understand why Vanessa’s dad did what he did that is just added fodder so there will be post of people praising him and crucifying him. AND with Vanessa we have a lot more haters and bashers it would seem than Zac does. So, we have to deal with those people as well as the people who love Vanessa. If you have one person saying something nasty about her you will get about 10 posters who are going to defend her. So, that is why Vanessa’s post are always up. Now, if Zac’s mom would come along and slap one of those paparazzi’s upside the head, then Zac would have 1000 posts! LOL

I agree, Steph. There is NO argument about who Zac is with. I’m just not sure why the Nikki fans aren’t seeing the reality of it. I think they’re hung up on their movie characters, which I insist, did not even have much onscreen time together.
