Zac Efron may not be much like his High School Musical character Troy Bolton but that didn’t stop him from playing some hoops in Los Angeles on Thursday!
Zac, 20, was seen playing some basketball for two hours at a private basketball court. The fitness buff sported a “Pre Lives” t-shirt in reference to American running icon Steve Prefontaine.
“I am not a basketball player!” Zac has said while promoting HSM. “No stunt double, but I’m not that great of a basketball player. I had one real season under my belt, playing with kids who were so much better than me; it was embarrassing, I think I scored two points all season. So, it took a lot of practice to say the least.”

about vanessa vs nikki i agree with u its sad and ugly ’cause theres no reason to fight about nikki is just zac’s “friend” and i put it like that ’cause oh well i think they havent seen in months…so its like whatever but i guess people like creating drama…!!

Thank, ck, for the people info. I have voted from the computer here at work and I will vote whenI get home and I have 2 other computers I can get to before I get home so I will also vote from those. I think the real reason Zac is not smiling when he is with Vanessa is because he feels like his personal life is being invaded. It’s not because Vanessa is making him unhappy. He has made it abundantly clear he is very private about his personal life and everything they do or where they go is pictured. I’m sure it’s annoying for both of them because they are both private people to be photographed on a Sunday MORNING going to breakfast. It must feel like an invasion of privacy.
Do you really think this guy would be with this girl every day and night if she made him miserable? He’s a smart guy and by now he would know and be tired of being miserable with this girl if that was the case. It’s not Vanessa that’s causing the non-smiling faces.
Not a good basktball player?? During HSM2 he shout right into the basket for like… 15 m away or something!! You know, when he tried to call Gabriella, but she didn’t answer. You can see him shout the ball, and it goes right in!

I THOUGHT OF ZAC WHEN I SAW THE VIDEO OF VANESSA’S DAD GOING AFTER THAT PAPARAZZI. I KNOW THAT ZAC FEELS THE SAME KIND OF PROTECTIVE INSTINCTS TOWARD VANESSA. YOU CAN SEE IT IN THE TIGHTNESS OF HIS JAW SOMETIMES WHEN THE PAPS ARE AROUND. CONSIDERING THE SHOTS THEY TAKE OF VANESSA’S LEGS, I CAN JUST HEAR THEM SAYING, “GORGEOUS LEGS, VANESSA.” OR SOMETHING WORSE.
SO, I IMAGINE THEY’RE BOTH MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE STAYING HOME AND WATCHING MOVIES OR PLAYING VIDEO GAMES.
BUT HOPEFULLY WHEN THEY GO OUT NOW, THE PAPS WILL BE ASKING THEM WHETHER OR NOT THEY SIGNED ON TO HSM3, WHICH MIGHT NOT BE AS STRESS INDUCING. ZAC CAN GIVE HIS “HEY, HEY” LAUGH.

hey karen.ok first of all i never said he wasnt smiling ’cause of nessa made him miserable or that she was the reason he was so unhappy believe i would never say that well first because i dont even know him.2nd i really like and 3 ok there’s no 3rd hahaha but anyway i get your point and i guess you are right personally i wouldnt like people taking me pictures going to breakfast…
