Zac Efron may not be much like his High School Musical character Troy Bolton but that didn’t stop him from playing some hoops in Los Angeles on Thursday!
Zac, 20, was seen playing some basketball for two hours at a private basketball court. The fitness buff sported a “Pre Lives” t-shirt in reference to American running icon Steve Prefontaine.
“I am not a basketball player!” Zac has said while promoting HSM. “No stunt double, but I’m not that great of a basketball player. I had one real season under my belt, playing with kids who were so much better than me; it was embarrassing, I think I scored two points all season. So, it took a lot of practice to say the least.”

AMAs on Nov 18, HSM2 DVD release on Nov 19, and Hairspray DVD release on Nov 20.
Will be interesting to see the Hairspray behind-the scenes. We haven’t seen as much Zac and Nikki behind-the-scenes as we have with HSM 1 and 2.

Pray that I have a quiet night at work and have a chance to get to the computer quickly to keep checking in with all of you. It is a shame that Vanessa get so many more posts just because we have to deal with the hate mail. But also, yesterday jj posted the Nikki thing which made the number of posts go up because we had so many issues to deal with, one thread on Vanessa was when she was ready to go into Zac’s so that attracted several extra people, and then we had the video store thread later the same night which brought into play Zac again… Then today we have the little thing of Vanessa’s dad finally having enough of one of the paps so that had to get some other people stirred up…
So, jj, if you want 1000 post on a thread all you have to do is give everyone a pic of “Zanessa” and that should do it, babe! LOL
How many are hoping that HSM2 wins over Hairspray at the AMA’s? Can you just hear the Nikki and Zac lovers if Hairspray wins? Everybody better vote 100 times for HSM2.
I want HSM 2 to win over Hairspray but simply because I liked that soundtrack better. I mean i love both movies, but the songs in HSM 2 just appealed to me more I guess.

So the AMA’s are the 18th and the red carpet dvd thing is on the 19th. Is Zac and V going to the AMA’s? Do we know? I would imagine they would since HSM2 was nominated in a category, but do we know for sure?

I don’t think it’s been confirmed anywhere, but it seems logical for them to go. Especially for Zac since he’s nominated twice.
sorry guys, i loved hsm2 but as far as a soundtrack goes, i had to vote for hairspray. it rocks. i think either way, zac will be a winner!!!!!!!! and i’m happy b/c as he put it he was able to “regain his vocal dignity.”
i haven’t seen any comments on vanessa’s house hunting. anyone????
