OlderAshley Tisdale @ Disney Channel Luncheon
Ashley Tisdale attends a Disney Channel Luncheon at the Hollywood and Highland Center in Los Angeles on Thursday. The High School Musical star was seen carrying around her new pet pooch Maui.
Ashley, 22, recently was interviewed about her first live performance. Watch the video here.
Miss Tisdale said, “Preparing for the first show on the High School Musical tour, I was very, very nervous. It was the first time I was going to be performing my own solo songs from ‘Headstrong’ in front of anyone, let alone 15,000 people! So before the show, I was a mess and couldn’t even walk straight or focus or anything. Of course, that all went away after I got on stage, and then when I ran off the stage after the performance I was just so excited — jumping up and down and off the walls. It was a complete change. (laughs) And now I look forward to performing every single time!”

I don’t think the black nail polish thing was started by either Ashley or Vanessa. Girls have been using that for years. In any case, they’re BFFs and they probably have similar tastes in nail polish color. Let’s not have any fighting over here please. I already have to deal with that sort of drama on my girl Vanessa’s threads. Live in love.

I for one welcome more coverage for Ashley here at JJ’s blog. Vanessa is definitely my favorite HSM girl, but Ashley is a close second and I’m happy that she doing so well in her acting/singing career.

if you saw me and my best friend in a crowd you wouldnt even believe we would talk to each other because we look like polar opposites. I’m just saying..
and actually the black nail polish thing was started in paris runways and eventually trickled down to american runways and then magazines and then normal average people. as far as if vanessa or ashley had it first, who knows but thats the history of black nail polish and why a lot of people wear it now. its considered “couture” to have black nails.
She is adorable. I love when she was punked, she looked so confused, it was hilarious.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. There shouldn’t be any sides, especially since both our girls are BFFs and for that matter the whole cast is one big family. That just means there’s more love and talent to go around. =)

MCKENNA, thanks so much for your sweet compliment! It really irks me when I see other Vanessa fans bashing on Ashley because of the fact that both girls are BFFs. I mean, if you’re a Vanessa fan and you don’t like Ashley then that’s fine by me, but you shouldn’t be calling her BFF names and hating on her. I’m sure Vanessa would be upset with that kind of behavior towards Ashley since they’re so close.
Lol, exactly, so tons of people own black nail polish, probably some guys do, too, so it is absurd to accuse Ashley of copying Vanessa to that.

MCKENNA, thank you for realizing that and showing true maturity about your past behavior towards Vanessa. It’s better to be on the same side (respecting one another) than to be on the opposing side (bashing each other). The world would be a happier place if everybody followed that rule.

Isn’t Jessica the same girl that goes to a Vanessa page and bash on Vanessa? Hmm….
