Ashley Tisdale attends a Disney Channel Luncheon at the Hollywood and Highland Center in Los Angeles on Thursday. The High School Musical star was seen carrying around her new pet pooch Maui.
Ashley, 22, recently was interviewed about her first live performance. Watch the video here.
Miss Tisdale said, “Preparing for the first show on the High School Musical tour, I was very, very nervous. It was the first time I was going to be performing my own solo songs from ‘Headstrong’ in front of anyone, let alone 15,000 people! So before the show, I was a mess and couldn’t even walk straight or focus or anything. Of course, that all went away after I got on stage, and then when I ran off the stage after the performance I was just so excited — jumping up and down and off the walls. It was a complete change. (laughs) And now I look forward to performing every single time!”

oh, and I love her coat. Not a big fan of ankle boot, but I really want her coat. lol, her and Vanessa have this ‘bear’ cuddler going on. Vanessa had hers when she went on tour and Zac wasn’t w/ her. I wonder if Ashley is bringing hers as a representation for Jared? hahaha. cute. ^^ Makes me want to go to Bear Factory and buy one.

Hi zvkg! I couldn’t agree with you more. I honestly think there are wannabes out there who just go on all the different threads to bash on everybody and start drama. The best we can do is try and put them in their place without stooping to their level. For the most part I think we’re successful, don’t you? Hehehe.
All the haters who hurl insults at Vanessa or Ashley are pathetic. I can understand not liking someone but insulting them is uncalled for and just makes a person look immature and childish
Lanie, I definitely agree with you there. Of course everyone is entitled to their opinion, but expressing it in such a way that is mean and hurtful is crossing the line. Like the saying goes: “If you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything.” It’s as simple as that.

But yes. We try to control it. I know that sometimes, I get alittle to sarcastic with my words which fuels the fire on…but that’s because I’m looking for a fight. lol. But I would never stoop to their level and click on a celebrity that I don’t like and insult them and their fans, or judge them especially since I don’t know them. (learned my lesson on that, and it wasn’t pretty.) I prefer to stay far far away from people I don’t like. Why torture myself? But if I do start doing it, please feel free to slap me or warn me. One thing for certain though, I only click/reply/view on threads that I like. It’s more healtier that way.
Anyways…back to Ashley. Can’t wait to see the HSM cast back together. Hopefully with HSM 3, there’s more plot in it than HSM 2. (gahh, still need to bring myself to watch that. I’m a bad fan because like Hairspray…i got tired of it after the first 10 minute, and ran away after half an hour. It didn’t help that there was barely in Vanessa and Zac scene. That’s what glued me in to watching hsm 1. now, if it was an action pack/sci fi musical…that would have been a different matter. lol)

i’ve met ashley and so have a few of friends (at separate times) and we all agree that she is NOT NICE! i used to like her before i met her but now i totally don’t.

I personally choose not to believe, or at least let bother me, fan stories. Every celebrity has bad fan stories, and good fan stories - obviously people cannot be in a good mood 24/7, though celebrities are expected to. My friend has met Ashley about five times, and Ashley even recognizes her and called her once, so I believe she is a generally nice person. But I suppose it’s your opinion, and I guess if she were rude to me if I finally met her, my respect for her would lower, as well.
MCKENNA, you made some really good points. A lot of fans tend to forget that their favorite celebrities are only human too. It would hurt to be disappointed by your fave celeb, but if you can honestly feel that they were just having a bad day and were not intentionally trying to be mean to you then I think the disappointment wouldn’t be as bad and you’d be more willing to remain a fan. At least for me, that’s how I look at it.
zvkg, you’re so funny! I like sci-fi and action movies too, but I’ve always enjoyed musicals more so I was immediately drawn to HSM and of course with HSM2.

A little analogy comes to mind would you like to hear it? *the sound of crickets chirping* Well too bad because I’m going to tell you anyway. So pull up a chair and be quiet.
A couple of years ago and the “Lord of the Rings” movies and “Star Wars Prequels” were coming out a kind of rivalry formed between the two fanbases. For some reason it was not “cool” to like both of them, and it was quite common to see the fans of one francise bash the other on forums like this one. As a dedicated afficionado of all things deemed “geeky” I loved both francises equally and found the whole rivalry absolutely ridiculous.
I see the same sort of situation going on between the fancamps of Ashley and Vanessa and as in the above example I find it absolutely ridiculous. I like both girls, why do they have to be “rivals?” Is it just because they’re both young, talented women who are at the same points in their careers therefore they have to be enemies? Well newsflash folks, they aren’t enemies, in fact they’re best friends which makes the animosity between the two fanbases even more nonsensical.
You can like both it’s okay, the world will come to an end nor will freedom in this great land perish if you like both girls. On the other hand you are not required to like both. But to be a fan of one does not make it necessary to bash the other. So please and this is addressed at both fan bases, cut it out.
