Check out the trailer for Jessica Simpson’s upcoming comedy Major Movie Star.
Jessica, 27, plays Megan Valentine, a pampered movie-star joining the Army in a moment of weakness, but soon realizes she’s in over her head.
Major Movie Star opens in 2008 and also stars Vivica A. Fox (Kill Bill), Olesya Rulin (High School Musical), Steve Guttenberg (Police Academy), Cheri Oteri (Saturday Night Live), Bryce Johnson (Popular), and Ryan Sypek (Wildfire). Watch the “Major Movie Star” trailer below!

Wow, I liked this film better when it was called, “Private Benjamin.” Goldie Hawn had comedic timing. Jessica can be funny, but she doesn’t do it intentionally.

#23 I was thinking the same thing! I thought that photo on GQ was iconic, poster-worthy. Exactly what the boys on the frontlines think of as their all-American girl, and in a flag bikini no less. She looked wholesome back then, and the big boobs, blonde hair, white teeth, fresh cheerful look, isn’t she even in a corn or wheat field? — it all added up just right.
But the movie poster — her hair is awful. It’s over the top trying too hard. Just like the movie. She’s ripped off a seminal role in a b-tv show for a movie, and now a classic role in a classic movie by another blonde — who happens to be one smart cookie, something Jessica will never be.
I agree — go back to what you do well, singing. You have to have intelligence to be a good actress. She has boobs and hair. If she really worked on her singing, she could be good at that. She’s 27 and her shelf life for “cute bimbo” is fast diminishing.
LOL! They used the same photo GQ used for their cover story on Jessica Simpson when she first “blew” out on the scene! LOL! Hilarious!

Vivavia says it all, “I think I just threw up in my mouth,” damn that Simpson is one ugly little midget. And his acting looks about as good as in the “Working Girl” ripoff, what happened to that one again? This will so the same.

Goldie Hawn had charm, as does Kate Hudson, Simpson just plays it as herself, an arrogant little *****. And when it shows her with “when ou look like this” its ridiculous, she is not beautiful, that line is a joke when the shot is of her.
I thought the trailer was supposed to have the good bits, was any of that meant to be funny???????
