Check out the trailer for Jessica Simpson’s upcoming comedy Major Movie Star.
Jessica, 27, plays Megan Valentine, a pampered movie-star joining the Army in a moment of weakness, but soon realizes she’s in over her head.
Major Movie Star opens in 2008 and also stars Vivica A. Fox (Kill Bill), Olesya Rulin (High School Musical), Steve Guttenberg (Police Academy), Cheri Oteri (Saturday Night Live), Bryce Johnson (Popular), and Ryan Sypek (Wildfire). Watch the “Major Movie Star” trailer below!

I would be INSULTED if she tried to pass herself as a MARINE! Hell no! She’s already giving the Army a bad name in itself. This movie is a POOR, HORRIBLE pass-off of Private Benjamin. She should stick to singing and forget acting!

To think what I accomplished at 27 is so sad for Jessica.. she will be broke by 32… and worse yet… she is from Texas.. I expect SO MUCH BETTER… oh and by the way Jessica… just because you got married in Austin doesn’t make you a LONGHORN… remember that sweetie

On the plus side, it’s gonna win the RAZZIE for worst movie of the year! I can’t believe anyone would make this, let alone have Jessica Simpson star in it. I’m rolling my eyes at America for this.

This movie must be a remake of the Private Benjamin with Goldie Hahn. Nobody could outdo Hahn. She was great.

i dont understand why most of the people slag her off! for her age, shes done well and if 90 % of us, had her face, we would consider ourselves lucky! so rest the case pls!
That was awful, not going to see that. Sure you can keep making those movies all you want and releasing them, but the public will not go see them. Someone will go broke eventually.
This looks like a major shitfest which will go straight-to-dvd…. I’m convinced Jessica Simpson is a really nice, friendly girl in real life, but she’s on the fast track to becoming a bigger joke than Britney Spears (well, she’s still got a long way to go). If Jessica (and other such “actresses”) wants to be taken seriously in her acting endeavors, she has to stop with the “make a quick buck” gimmick and at least alternate with secondary roles in higher level films. That being said, Jess makes me horny and I’ll watch the movie the minute it comes out, if only for that…

I really don’t care too much for Jessica Simpson one way or the other. I think that this movie would probably do much better if she weren’t in it. Having said that, Ryan Sypek (the guy she kisses in the trailer) does an amazing job on the ABCFamily drama Wildfire. It’s unfortunate that his first big role is opposite someone with so much public disdain, but I will be watching it–only for him of course.

Ryan Sypek ROCKS…I will see the movie just because he is in it…It does not look as bad as i thought it would be…plus having Ryan Sypek in any movie never hurts..he is AWESOME
Damn Jessica looks as hot as always. Of course I am buying this movie.
That actually looks like a wonderful movie. It may not be one of the best movies, but it’s also not one of the worst. Some aspects of it are very different; who knew a movie star would join the army. Just remember not to judge the movie, if you haven’t even watched it yet. Infact, it might turn out to be one of you’er favorites towards the end-who knows. Oh and by the way, you should really reconsider giving your opinion on the character of the movie and not the actress, since the movie is about Megan Valentine and not Jessica Simpson.
( Just a little small advice to prevent anyone from sounding and looking foolish).
