Zac Efron is a Ponytail Pimp
Zac Efron meets up with some friends in Los Angeles Friday afternoon to shoot some hoops at a local basketball court.
The 20-year-old High School Musical star wore his famous top-knot ponytail once again, which he debuted about two weeks ago. Since then, Zac tends to wear beanies to cover up his hair or puts his hair in a ponytail while working out.

Karen, yeah, i’m sure he signs autographs when people approach him at his table at restaurants. I’ve seen recent pics of other celebs taking photos with and signing for their fans so I wonder why the paps don’t show Zac doing this. I’m sure he does it like any other celebrity. Maybe they will show that tomorrow, who knows?
Also, when Jared did the “Zac’s a basketball playa” story yesterday, he ran pics that clearly showed the name of the church and gym where Zac’s private game took place. A quick google search could show someone in that area the exact location and address. So I’d think autograph seekers would stake it out the next day (today). But maybe they did and Jared chose just these 10 photos of Zac by himself.
kgg, no I don’t know for sure that he visited them but I assume he did cuz he wasn’t around from Sunday til Thursday.
SINCE THE EYE CATEGORY IS NOT THERE ANYMORE, I’M ASSUMING THEY CLOSED IT. LAST TIME I CHECKED ZAC WAS AT 39% AND WAY AHEAD OF WHOEVER WAS IN SECOND. ALSO, HE WAS IN THRID PLACE FOR HAIR WITH DEMPSEY FIRST AT 58%.
i wonder why they closed down the sexiest eyes category. i’m pretty sure zac one, he was pretty far ahead. and for hair, hello, Taye Diggs , has no hair!!!!! oh well.

don’t think he did. DD (which I heard, she proved to them that she was real) from zac-e saw Z, V, and A shopping. Forgot the date. But yeah. I think he just stayed indoor memorizing his lines. The filming will be up soon, so…he needs to memorize and practise those lines.
Susan, Sunday was the breakfast with V; there’s pics of him from Monday on the web, isn’t Tues. the day V went to see him at his apt.? Basketball pics two days in a row, Thurs. and Friday. That’s why I don’t think he went home unless it was a quickie trip… :)
This post in no way is meant to stir up anything but since we all speculate here on things that is what I am doing.
I didn’t go look at all the houses Vanessa looked at yesterday but some have said they didn’t really look like a family type home where her mom and dad and sister would be living. Some mentioned the possibility of her buying her own place—which I think is good since if she was in college she would most likely be on her own—and that she would have a “roommate” of some kind.
My speculation is this, do any of you think that the openness of Zac and Vanessa’s relationship particularly since his birthday could be in connection with them moving on to a more permanent living arrangement? I know they are private and even though we see them out and about—a lot–holding hands and such that doesn’t mean they are letting anyone know about what goes on behind closed doors even now. But they have shown up together at places like the Fredericks of Hollywood’s charity event where Zac said how he wasn’t into underwear but “she is” meaning Vanessa which is a rather intimate disclosure. So, it seem to me that they are gradually saying to people, “Yes, we are together and we intend to stay that way so get used to it”. It’s like they are making the playing field known and that they are ready to take on the doubters, etc. Well, that may just be my feeling. Who knows, maybe she will get a nice little private place where she will move Ashley in with her so then they both can have some privacy with their boyfriends. But I’ve been young and like them and when you have a boyfriend you really like to have some privacy and you don’t want to be telling your roommate, “You have to be gone tonight.” LOL
I think I’m too tired to be posting tonight. I probably need to go to bed before I get into trouble.

Karen, that’s a pretty interesting possibility to ponder. I also thought that the houses V looked at weren’t family type homes and your point about the new openness of their relationship makes a lot of sense. I guess only time will tell.

it seems a lot of people are speculating about whether or not they will be moving in together. idk, as someone said, time will tell. they’re awfully young for that. but who knows?
i see a definite change in zac since he came back from australia with his dad. my perception is that his dad had some really good quality time with his son, and told him look if you love this girl, then accept her (mistakes and all) and lead your life with your heart. b/c if you walk around acting miserable in an attempt to discourage being in the press, then you know what? pretty soon you will be a miserable person, and there won’t be anyone around to share your life with.
idk, its how i see it, to me Australia was a turning point.
Only the 2.2 million hse looked like it could be a family home as it had 5 bedrooms. The others hse that she looked at looked like she was looking at it just for herself and not her family as they were 2 bedrooms.

I agree that Z must have had some kind of epiphany during the Australia trip. If you compare how he and V acted before the trip and after, there is a definite change.
Also, I always remember the quote from Z how he didn’t want to be the teenager talking about relationships. Well, he isn’t a teenager anymore, so maybe his birthday and turning a year older is also a factor as to why things are different.

I think his dad encouraged him also. I think he pointed out that everyone already knew what kind of relationship he and Vanessa had so he should not be afraid to show it to the press—within reason. I think he told him to go with his heart and maybe he had to remind him to “be himself” no matter what happens.
I hope with all the craziness with the paps one thing has come out to Zac and Vanessa and that is people really care about them and the majority of people are pulling for them and not laughing behind their backs. I hope they see and can feel a world of support for them. Also, hopefully it will make them stronger especially when someone wants to bring them down and print hateful and untrue things about them.
maybe thats why he always praticing basketball is caused he is getting ready for hsm 3 i wish we coud see vanessa with him going to the gym together

I also think that Z was away from V with his dad for about 2-3 weeks and decided that it was time to stop acting and be Zac. I can’t image it was easy for him and V to pretend to be just friends in public and all they wanted was to be together. Sometimes you have to stop acting and be yourself. Plus I think that Z missed V when he was in Japan and Austria.
