Zac Efron is a Ponytail Pimp
Zac Efron meets up with some friends in Los Angeles Friday afternoon to shoot some hoops at a local basketball court.
The 20-year-old High School Musical star wore his famous top-knot ponytail once again, which he debuted about two weeks ago. Since then, Zac tends to wear beanies to cover up his hair or puts his hair in a ponytail while working out.

Hey kgg,thanks for responding. It’s just a hunch I have, that he went home, cuz he wasn’t photographed from Sunday brunch with V until Thursday afternoon basketball. Can you provide a link for the Monday shopping photos? Also, that day that Vanessa was photographed outside his condo, I think she was just going in to retrieve something she had left there that she probably needed, or water his plants or whatever.

Karen, I love your sentiment in one of your last posts, about how many people are pulling for these two. They just seem so darn nice, it’s hard not to. I just want to see them succeed so bad, career-wise. Relationship-wise, whatever will be, will be. They are soooo young and while many people do have successful marriages after marrying young, it’s much more common to wait until at least 23-24 to settle down with someone, if not later. I’m sure they’re having a ton of fun with each other though, and at this age, that’s what counts. They have to realize that they will have many co-stars in the future, and sometimes those friendships blossom into romances. In Zac’s interviews, he sounds like he knows this, hence the reference to “ask me again in 10 years.” BTW, I think it’s about time for Zac to do another magazine interview. I really loved the Rolling Stone cover story. Does anyone have a link to the Rolling Stone story?
karen- i understand the bad day at work. i work at a large hospital too and man is it getting insanely busy again. well it’s that time of the year.

$172 Karen - I hope them just be themselves like you said. Zanessa deserve to be happy and fun when they are together just like other couple. If they have to pretend they are just friends in the publicity, it is really miserable for them. Be honest, I do not like to see Zanessa’s picture together without smile or look unhappy because these pictures just make me sad. I love to see them with beautiful smile and that brought the smile to my face too.

I agree but don’t think he’s gonna be doing any more interviews (if you don’t count Tigerbeat) until he’s promoting his next film. Hope that happens soon…

Zac had his ring on the day before when playing basketball maybe he finds it’s easier to play without it on, Idoubt it’s anything to stress about I’m sure it will re-appear again like it did before.
And it goes to show that Zac does hang out with friends, okay we don’t see them but if their old friends like before all the HSM started perhaps Zac does’nt like the thought of the press hounding them after all I suppose it’s like he can just feel normal for a while with people who know the real himso he can be relaxed for a while.

KAREN, GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE. I’VE ALWAYS MAINTAINED THAT THE TIME WITH HIS DAD IN AUSTRALIA HAD A PROFOUND EFFECT ON ZAC. ESPECIALLY IN HOW HE DEALS WITH THE PAPARAZZI AND “ACCEPTING” HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH VANESSA. I’M SURE ZAC ALWAYS FELT THAT KEEPING THEIR RELATIONSHIP A SECRET FROM THE PUBLIC WAS A WAY OF PROTECTING VANESSA.

Well, I went away for a little while and came back, started reading they posts I had missed, and suddenly was just overwhelmed with embarrassment! LOL I have been sitting here just blushing so much it is lighting up my dark office.
Really, I thank you all for such kind words. For the past 10 days I thought I’d just camp out underneath my bed as things have been pretty hectic here but you have all made me feel so wonderful. AND to feel angel wings around me will give me a much needed good night sleep. So, I will say goodnight to all you wonderful folks and I know there are ZA’s out there that can handle any problem that arises during the night.
Parting is such sweet sorrow…
