Kanye West’s Mom Dies

Kanye West’s mom, Donda West, passed away at the age of 58 Saturday night in Los Angeles. She was a former English professor at Chicago State University, her son’s manager and the chairwoman of the Kanye West Foundation.

A spokesman for Kanye said, “The family respectfully asks for privacy during this time of grief.”

The cause of death has not yet been released.

I feel bad for him. I’ll pray for him during this hard time. I hope he feels better. Yeah, she’s young, she’s only 2-3 years older than me. He still has his dad and soon-to-be wife.

Sending Prayers out to Kanye & the West Family at this difficult time. Kanye spoke so lovingly when speaking of his mother.
Dr.West was a beautiful person. I’ve heard a few of her interviews.She was a so proud of Kanye.

Oh this is truly awful. In every song he spoke of her and he loved her so much. I remember his performance on Oprah and bringing her out. It’s so sad.
