Kanye West’s Mom Dies
Kanye West’s mom, Donda West, passed away at the age of 58 Saturday night in Los Angeles. She was a former English professor at Chicago State University, her son’s manager and the chairwoman of the Kanye West Foundation.
A spokesman for Kanye said, “The family respectfully asks for privacy during this time of grief.”
The cause of death has not yet been released.

ohmigod, his mom looks like she’s in a very good shape and healthy, if the rumors are true about the tummy tuck and breast surgery that causes her death, did i hear a lawsuit? ohmigod, Kanye will triple the richer he is.

There was something about her spirit that made me smile every time I saw her. Through her son’s triumps and mistakes, she was there to beam and scold, exemplifying what a real mother is. When I heard the news, I felt myself mourn for those who depended on her advice and support. May Mrs. West rest in peace, and may KanYe carry on her legacy.

How sad and unexpected. God bless such an accomplished and intelligent and lovely woman. May she rest in peace. My condolences to Kanye - he always talked about her. And she is so young! God bless her soul.
By the way, she was not just and English Professor - she was Chair of the English Department. Really accomplished and smart woman. Bless her.

I cannot begin to imagine how devastating this must be for him, they seemed to be very close and I always admired the relationship he had with her.
