Keri Russell @ ‘August Rush’ Premiere
Fresh-faced Keri Russell stays classic in black at the premiere of her new film August Rush at NYC’s Ziegfeld Theater on Sunday.
August Rush tells the story of a charismatic young Irish guitarist (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) and a sheltered young cellist (Russell) who have a chance encounter one magical night above New York’s Washington Square, but are soon torn apart, leaving in their wake an infant, August Rush, orphaned by circumstance. Now performing on the streets of New York and cared for by a mysterious stranger (Robin Williams), August (Freddie Highmore) uses his remarkable musical talent to seek the parents from whom he was separated at birth.
DO YOU THINK Keri’s red carpet look is dumpy and frumpy? Or classic in black?

Keri is one of the prettiest actresses around.
She looks beautiful!!!!!!!!! What a face!! I want her Brows!! Her dress is a little boring… I don’t like the green shoes… but she still looks very pretty!!!

The shoes are a bad baaad choice. To wear head to toe in black you need something to draw the eye that stands out. Looking at Keri’s outfit from head to toe it’s “Good, good, good, EWWWWW”. A pair of patent black round toe platforms would’ve been a much smarter choice.
She has the worst skin or her face. She even has moles on her nose and lip.

She looks lovely; her dress seems congruent with the project - and she is a natural beauty. The one who is unsettling is Jonathan Rhys-Meyers - his eyes look very disturbed in several of these photos. Freddie Hightower is an extraordinary soul!

CAN’T WAIT TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!! everyone looks stunning and gorgeous! although i do agree with the comments about Keri’s dress being boring..i mean they are all basically wearing all black!! they could have been a little brighter w/ the colors! but other than that they look great! Jonathan’s eyes look kinda possessed in some pics…and i love freddie highmore he is such a cutie and a GREAT young actor! The 3 of them are sooo great together..seems like they would have amazing chemistry on screen! Keri and Jonathan might as well be a couple w/ Freddie as their son!! thats how great they all look together! But i know that Keri has a baby (& a husband/boyfriend?) etc. so it wouldnt really work!!

SHe looks rather severe in this all black outfit. It doesn’t really suit her, she’s not winona ryder. when she was pregnant I thought she was the best dressed pregnant person-all in bright colors, flowery prints. she looked so beautiful. And she lost weight in a week (one of those-hate them!) or so so she’s not wearing black because she needs to look slimmer.
She looks haggard. Is it a premiere or a funeral?
A little boring but I think as a whole she looks adorable. Kind of quirky and artsy bohemian- it suits her. Very New York actress chic.
Jonathan’s eyes do look a tad disturbed in some of these pics, but, like many others have said, Freddie looks great and Keri has a lot of natural beauty. :)
