Joaquin Phoenix smokes a cigarette and reads over some notes on the set of his latest film Two Lovers in New York City on Friday.
The 33-year-old actor must like working with director James Gray. The pair previously collaborated on The Yards and We Own the Night, and now they‘re to team up for a third time for this new drama.
A recent sighting of Joaquin and costar Vanessa Shaw was made at Brighton Beach, New York.

I’m going to ignore all the hate posts, what kind of losers post so adamently about people they claim to dislike? To what end? Me thinks some protest too much? It really is no one’s provence to speculate on his love life–have we ever had proof of anything? He’s always been low-key and private and that’s fine with me. He also yanks chains in interviews especially as of late.
But…..I’m really looking forward to this film, a “tragic romance” could be so dark and interesting for Joaquin to explore. I did really love him in WOTN though. He was wonderfully realistic, charismatic, and artful in his work there. In the drug den scene, he gave perhaps the most believable reactions to those particular events that I can recall ever seeing in a film. Wonderful, heartbreaking performance.

The girl in the LAX photos is not teuta and that apparently is who he is “supposedly” seeing…as well as others I’m sure…the guy changes girls so quickly these days. People have “sighted” him with other girls since teuta anyways and claim it is not her. Besides people over at the T&M boards like to stir sh*t up….maybe it is true…but I HIGHLY doubt it.
