Kanye West’s Mom Dies of Cosmetic Surgery
New details regarding the death of Kanye West’s mother, Donda West, have surfaced.
According to her publicist, Donda passed away “as the result of complications from a cosmetic surgical procedure” at Centinela Hospital in Marina del Rey, Los Angeles.
An autopsy is expected to be performed later this week.
Donda, 58, was the chairwoman of Kanye’s education foundation and author of Raising Kanye: Life Lessons from the Mother of a Hip-Hop Star.

I was LITERALLY just listening to your album “LATE REGISTRATION” on Sunday, marveling at your genius, your articulation, at the wonderful job that your Mother did raising such a talented man when I got in my car I heard the news and I was devastated for you. My heart goes out to you dear. As a young woman of 18 yrs, I lost my father suddenly from a car crash, I thought I would never get over it. I didnt think I could survive the world without him there to love and protect me. Then I realized that he’d ALWAYS be with me, in my smile, my mannerisms, the things he taught, like how to be strong. And I had a responsibility to him, to show my love by continuing to be the person he raised me to be.
Be strong young brother, Donda will be with you always, watching you from above.

My thoughts and prayers are with Kanye and his family… God help and bless them through this difficult time…

omg pppl are so horrible. im crying cos of some horrible posts. i feel so sorry for kanye. i sort of know what he’s going though, i lost my frieind last year, she just died in her sleep. so sudden, it hurt so bad and still does a year on. i pray for kanye and his family .

very sad and tragic and all. may not be relevant right now but how ugly she is on picture! man! at first sight i thought she was a drag-queen! anyway…Sad!
my condolences goes out to Kanye and his family. i can’t imagine what it feels like to lose a mother, especially when you have a special bond. this is just terrible period, regardless of what she died from.
