Mayer & Minka: Still Going Strong

John Mayer and rumored romantic love interest Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights) leave Madison Square Garden after watching the New York Knicks play on Sunday night.

During the game, the NBA flashed Mayer’s face up on the JumboTron screen and announced “Welcome JOHN MAYER, Recording Artist” (pictured below). The Miami Heat earned their first victory of the season by beating the Knicks 75-72.

Sitting next to the cute couple was Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo, aka Dr. Meredith Grey, and her music producer fiance Chris Ivery.

Do you girls like better Minka Kelly than Jessica Simpson? I know we make fun of Jessica a lot, and we are right because she’s not the smartest girl in the world, but sometimes I have the feeling that John and Mayer spilt also because of the media attention. Maybe I am wrong, but having your every step photographed, destroys the intimate life that there is left. I hope that John is happy with Minka and they will last.

Well I for one couldn’t care less about his lovelife. If he is happy that’s what matters.He is my favorite singer/musician and that isn’t going to change as long as he makes amzing music.

Interesting! Thought they were finished. I had read this in the daily news– John Mayer made out with a blond bombshell who was not his latest girlfriend, Minka Kelly of “Friday Night Lights,” in SoHo last week. After she pouted, “But how do I know you really like me?” Mayer responded, “Because I’m going to do this” - then grabbed the side of her face and kissed her.

She looks bored, not really engaged in the game. If the Daily News is right then they are just ‘dating’ not in a relationship. They are both young. He’s having the time of his life. Good for him.

This guy should thank his lucky stars that he dated Jessica Simpson.
After they got together he started to show up EVERYWHERE. I know that he’s a talented musician but he couldn’t be where he is in terms of popularity if he hadn’t dated JS.

I remember after they boke up he wrote extremely disrespectful comments about Jessica on his blog, and I thought WOW what a douche!!! And I don’t even like her.

Personally, I think Minka is beautiful..I think the Jessica Simpson thing was for publicity and kicks on his part. I don’t think she’s his type and he seem very uncomfortable being photographed with her.

Yes I do like Minka a lot better than JSimpleton, but I still think it’s all just an agency set up for show. Mayer gets laid, Minka gets photo ops to promote her show, works our for everyone. I just hope it sticks and that they actually fall for each other because I like them together.

To anyone who thinks she is fug, get your eyes checked. She’s very pretty. I like JM, but he does seem sort of sleazy. I am sure this relationship is not exclusive. What I can’t believe is that Minka gave up her yummy costar, Taylor Kitsch, for this kind of open relationship.

Friday Night Lights is a great show, btw.

She doesn’t seem into him. Bad body language…hands firmly in pockets say “please don’t touch me”. His body is sort of angled toward her and his hand out which says “i want to hold your hand.”

I am in love with John Mayer. I think he’s good looking in a awkward way, yet he is very witty and funny.

Personally, I think Minka Kelly is very beautiful and they make a good looking couple. Jessica Simpson seemed a little too ditzy and blonde for him. And I don’t like Jessica Simpson anyways. (:

Jessica is ditzy and immature. Minka is more sophisticated than she is. Jessica is better off without John anyway, what man is going to possibly take Jessica seriously? Her parents are up her ass all the time!

Shes probably dating him to get more famous in Hollywood. She dated Donald Faison, Taylor Kitsch, Chris Evan, Harry Morton and got dumped by all of them. She even went out on a date with one of the Wayans brother who slept with her and ditched her. She mainly dated black guys in high school. I know this because I know someone that has slept with her and stayed friends. I guess sleeping around in Hollywood to get up on the celebrity scale works for a lot of girls even though shes still not famous. FACT: She has a tattoo of a kiss on one of her ****** lips.
