Vanessa Hudgens: It’s Christmas Time!
What time is it? Christmas time!
Vanessa Hudgens (in bebe) was at Disneyland on Saturday to film a Christmas segment for Disney.
Vanessa, Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman, Corbin Bleu and other High School Musical stars performed a Christmas version of the hit song “What Time Is It?” from High School Musical 2.
The Disney special is scheduled to air Christmas morning on ABC during the Walt Disney World Christmas parade. But watch the preview video below!
And yes, Zac Efron was MIA.

no. She wasn’t fired because she wasn’t an employee of Disney in the first place. Besides, Disney already made a statement that they’ll stand by her. What happened to ‘you know what’ was a stupid thing that a stupid ex-bf/friend did for money. She shouldn’t be held accountable for something that was suppoced to be for private viewing eyes only. And, she apologized (even though I believe she shouldn’t have but kudos to her for doing so).

lol. calm down Malia. There’s actually alot of kids that believes those tabloid lies. My niece who’s in the 3rd grade looooves her, but she believes that she got fired by Disney. I kept telling her that she’s not, but she keeps insisting that she was. She even showed me an article on the net that she read it from. Still trying to assure her that she’s not, but I hardly see her.

Just a guess but even if Zac hadn’t had the Kenny meeting he still might not have been there because he doesn’t like to sing live. Second guess is that this is the touring HSM group so they may be under contract to perform for those kinds of things.

I don’t know for sure, but my guess would be that Zac’s agent got him out of it because a) Zac doesn’t really want to be associated with HSM any more than necessary, and/or b) he isn’t as comfortable as the rest are with dancing in public (although he did an amazing job at GMA when they taught the All For One dance).
I think Zac immensely appreciates the opportunities that HSM has provided for him, but he probably really wants to get the rest of his acting career going.
Lucas is doing a movie somewhere,

lp, we can only speculate about why Zac didn’t join the rest of the cast. We know Lucas is busy filming a movie and not sure about why Chris wasn’t there either. We all have differences in opinions and sometimes we get sensitive when it comes to our favorite celebs, but as long as we remain respectful of each other I think we’ll all get along great.

But Miss Vanessa is the one that gets more attention.
Its not entirely because of the scandal, but its true that it did increase her fame, whether we like it or not. Another thing that increased her fame is being Zac Efron’s love. I’m not saying that’s the ONLY reason why she’s more famous. Those are just a few things that pushed her up a little more.
Whether you like it or not, thats just the way hollywood is.
So JJ is smart by putting only Vanessa’s name in the title.

putting vanessa’s name in the title is the smart thing to do.
the top of the page even has a list of “Top Celebs”
and Vanessa’s in it. Which means she either gets searched alot, or whenever there is a post about her, it gets clicked on. As much as you dont like it, thats what Jared should do if he wants to get more hits.
Example, if there was something about Kevin and Britney, Britney would most likely be in the title. Why? Because thats just the way it is.
i love the rest of the cast, but at the moment vanessa’s got more fame.

We all talk about V because we are fans. We come to JJ to discuss her and Z because we know that JJ’s posts are always fair and don’t resort to snarky insults to get hits. Most of us are also fans of the rest of the HSM cast, and we do discuss them at times, but for most of us V is number 1. If that bothers you, maybe you should find another site whoch focuses more on your favourites.

I have just one thing to say to the people who keep complaining about who JJ puts in the title. If the title is such a big deal to you-then open up your own sight and you can put whomever you want in the title. So what if he uses Vanessa as the title. It seems that no matter what he does someone has a problem with it. So if it’s such a big deal get your own site or don’t bother looking at this one. That’s my opinion.

Guys I agree that the entire HSM cast made equal contributions to Zac and Vanessa that has made the francise what it is, and since it Vanessa wasn’t doing a solo performance the headline should have read:”High School Musical: It’s Christmas Time!” But alas Jared is human and has his biases like the rest of us.
I have to say I have said before on the “Zac Efron: Top Secret HSM3 Meeting” thread that I was a charming performance by all involved. Though of course since like Jared I have my biases I thought Vanessa was really the standout.
At 5;58 pm, I was standing in the pizza place 2 blocks from my house. I can produce trhee witnesses as I always chat with the guys who work there. And as all the people who know me on this thread have already stated, there is no way # 165 is me.

Jared uses Vanessa ‘s name in the title because he knows he is going to generate more hits that way. She and Zac are currently listed as The most popular celebrities on JJ and any post on them gathers a lot of comments which is a good thing for Jared. So if HSM fans are not happy on the way it is titled they should make sure they post lots of comments when Ashley , Corbin or any of the others get a post on JJ. It could have been worst he could of not mentioned any of the other HSM cast mates names in his small article.

i hear you. hsm has a talented cast. but this is showbiz and business is a big part of it. when zac is around he steals everyone’s thunder. just watch any of the numerous “press events” for hsm, and all questions are directed toward him. if not for the fact that he is such a nice guy and defers to his cast mates, you’d probably never hear a peep from anyone else.
i’m not sure why zac wasn’t there saturday, but obviously he didn’t want to do it. maybe it had something to do with the whole “tour” thing as someone mentioned before.
again, the whole cast is talented, but as of now zac and v are it, and that’s who is gonna get the most attention. it is rare when an ensemble cast doesn’t have a “star” in its midst. the only example i can think of is “friends,” and a lot of people went to a lot of trouble to make it that way.
p.s. whoever brought up perez, now those people are Aholes!

To Becky, I inderstand your point I too love the whole cast, but
I believe that this whole thing has snowballed. HSM is about
acceptence of all types of people, but the main focus is the love
story of Troy and Gabriella, so when the stars of this romantic
movie came together in real life, it actually became like a real
fairytale with all the drama and ups and downs of a truly incredible
love story which we are still in the middle of (Hence all the interest)
I think this is also a double-edged sword because I think if you
would get to ask Zac or Vanessa they would love to go back to the way it
was last year. So I would hope there is no resentment from the rest
of the cast because I’m not so sure they would like to trade
places with Zac or Vanessa. I also think maybe Jared will take
your advice next time.

No offence i love everyone else in the movie but for me the magic comes from Vanessa and Zac and im sure that many people agree with me hence the so many Zanessa fans that post here- thats why JJ puts either of them as the centre of attention because there are the ones people want so dnt go sayin ‘oh why always Vanessa’ coz the answer is she is more interesting and she is the one more people fell in love with! i love all the HSM stars but for me the ones that shine more are Vanessa and Zac
