OlderAngelina Jolie Pens ‘Economist’ Article
Angelina Jolie has penned an article for The Economist, a London-based weekly international news and business publication.
According to Britain’s The Guardian, Angie’s article will be published tomorrow in the Economist’s annual spin-off issue, The World in 2008. Angie’s piece covers the “accountability for the atrocities in Darfur” and her photo byline describes her as a “goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.”

This is not her first piece. She wrote an article for the Washington Post about a year or so ago.
From last thread: I know I’m late on this but this morning, one of the radio dj was all over the “Angie split her pants on the RC” cr.p. I wanted to call and scream! Seriously, does ANYONE research their “so called” news anymore? I saw EXTRA and the “rip” is clearly A ZIPPER FLAP, YOU MEDIA MORONS! How the hell is she supposed to slide into those pants without a zipper? Idiots. And People magazine, YOU SUCK FOR PICKING UP THIS TRASH! I’m sorry, but I have lost faith in People. I’ve noticed that they’ve been quoting “sources” for a while now, when they used to name the people legitimately in their articles.

SO PROUD TO BE A FAN OF HERS. Angie just keeps on rocking and no amount of split-pantgate, gum on shoes, etc. will stop her from doing the work she believes in. As I said earlier today, things balance themselves out for Angie. When people are trying to put her down, she rises above it all. Always. That’s my girl. :)

You know to be quit honest, with the way she handles everything else I doubt it realy made that big of a deal to her. She seems to be pretty down to earth. Lets face it anyone with kids knows that if that was the worst that happened to her that day it was nothing. Not only that, but who has that kind of thing not happened too at some point in their life. It just shows you that really we are all on the same level when it comes right down to it. Well, kind of, we don’t all have someone as cute as Brad Pitt to try and cover it up for us.
