Angie discusses the beauty of her character as Grendel’s mother (Crispin Glover plays Grendel).
“So I thought it was all really sexy,” she said. “And I loved that there’s this transition that she’s not really beautiful. She can morph into what other people perceive as beauty but she is this other creature.”

AOJJ now in only 130 or so theatres in US. Pox on Warners!! No support at all for this great movie.
Domestic: $3,585,074 45.1%
+ Foreign: $4,367,192 54.9%

But AOJJ doing OK overseas, will be opening in a number of markets over the next couple of months and will ultimately earn money. DVD sales will be good.

It sucks that so many of Brad’s fans didn’t get to see that movie. Warner’s did not only an injustice to Brad & Andrew Dominik, but to movie fans everywhere. While studios are willing to spend big money to pimp crapola like Saw IV or Fred Claus they refuse to give equal attention to small quality films that could reap big rewards later down the line. If Brad & Casey were both pushed for Oscar nominations Warners would make their money back on DVD sales & rentals almost immediately. Then again, I’m sure they’re hoping that because they didn’t put the movie in wide release that fans will got rent or buy the film so they can see it. Meanwhile…I hear “Freddy Meets Jason On Halloween And Finds Out What He Did Last Summer 4″ will be at theaters everywhere, and I do mean EVERYWHERE, next summer…

Why is it changing names never improves D.J./Style’s spelling? Now THAT is the quintessential moron. When they’re too dumb to know they’re mispelling in the first place…it’s a little hard to correct it under a different name.
