Join Angelina Jolie in Protest
Angelina Jolie causes quite the scene on the Los Angeles set of her new movie The Changeling on Monday. She protested with about 400 extras!
Just this past weekend, Angie and Brad Pitt heated up the red carpet at the London premiere of Beowulf.
“It’s so, so nice to see all these fans here, it always is,” the 32-year-old actress told reporters at the premiere. “I haven’t been here for a little bit. I lived here for a few years, and I do plan to come back more often.”

Well, we know she’s taking time off beginning end of this month. I seriously cannot wait for next year. It will be such a fabulous year with the RCs for award shows, their movies (Wanted, Burn After Reading, Changeling, and Benjamin Button). Here’s to Brad and Angie in 2008.

Yes this is exactly why she will always be in demand. A 12 hour flight, 8 hour time difference and here she is back at work today in LA after being in London just last nite supporting one of her films. Angie and Brad must have gone straight to the airport from the premiere. She is a wonderful example to emulate, does not whine, does not complain, hardworking, and does what she says she will do. She did not hold up production, she knows time is money, that people are very anxious with the stike and its effects on their lives. She did not let the cast and crew down with any diva demands, even though she has to be tired. She is a trooper.
Bravo Angelina. And thanks Brad for holding down the home front so Angie does not have to worry about the kids because they are with their daddy.

Agree with you. Angelina is not just beautiful, intelligent and talented. But she is very professional and hardworking. She prepares for her part, knows her lines, works the hours. The AMH director and his buddy (can’t remember his name) wrote that she is a good team player, not a DIVA and acted her role, even when the cameras were focussed on the other actors in the movie. And even though she might only be in a movie for a short time - such as TGS and Beowulf, she definitely pulls her FULL WEIGHT in promoting the movie. That’s why the very top directors and producers want to work with her.
As for her being able to sleep on the plane. I’m sure she and Brad can not only sleep on the plane, they can do a whole lot more. I believe Angelina and Brad were flying on a private jet - to fly transatlantic, it would be quite a BIG JET. Areas are partitioned off. And with the drone of the jet engines, they might even be able to make jungle noises:-)

I do agree with what you’ve written but not the conclusion. Clearly Angie has established herself as a humanitarian and actress in her own right and did not need a man to do any of those things for her. But the one thing she has said was missing is a partner to share the joy in raising her son. She has said in interviews how lonely it is to experience all the little wonders of raising a child without someone who loves him as much as she does. Brad obviously fell in love with Maddox and Angie found the joy she was missing in having a father for her son who loves him like she does.
Having Brad in her life also gave her the courage to expand her family through adoption and to experience childbirth. She probably would have adopted more children but she met a man who inspired her to go through pregnancy and childbirth. Not something she would have done on her own, as she has clearly stated. Anyone who has given birth knows what a special joy it is to create life and Brad gave her that. Do you think she would trade that experience for another Oscar?
Having material success is wonderful but I imagine Angie finds having a mate who loves her and “gets” her is even better. I’m betting if she had to make a choice she would give up all of it for the family she has formed with Brad.

Hey BAMPZS fans. Its midnight (EST) so i suppose only we, the night-owls here in the western hemisphere, are up (like me….tho i will be logging off soon anyway).
And hello to those fans elsewhere in the world for whom it is daytime.
I’m only posting because i’m so annoyed at the poster #1332 with that intellectually dishonest post she/it made in response to poster #1213 ‘BP luvs AJ’.
The fact that the poster cannot find any evidence (or refuses to see it) of how Brad has made Angie’s life more meaningful, just as she has made his, doesnt mean such evidence doesnt exist. And yet she/it comes to the grand conclusion that Angie ‘gives and gives’ to Brad while Brad only takes.
For the life of me i cannot understand how some people, who insist on dissecting B&A’s relationship, chooses to believe that there is some other-wordly/soap-opera-ish thing going on here. It is a man, loving a woman/a woman loving a man.
If youve never had the experience, then you have our condolences. Hopefully youll find your great love in this lifetime, just as Brad says he has. So until such time, just STFU and dont try to understand things about which you know nothing.

BUT WHERE’S THE LIST OF THINGS BRAD HAS DONE FOR ANGELINA? CAN ANYONE LIST THE HOW GIVING BRAD IS TO ANGELINA?
SWITCH THE ROLES.
1. Angelina motivated herself to pursue her interest in UNHCR and humanatarian work. Before brad.
True but she praises Brad for his support of her interests as she had no partner in her life who did so before Brad, no one who ever travelled with her at any time, who ever set up a foundation with her to fund their interests, no one at all.
2. She decided she wanted lots of kids and went for it on her own and adopted Maddox. before brad.
True but Angie has said she knows that without Brad she probably would not have moved forward with Z’s adoption (which we now know that she and Brad together decide to adopt Z), and would not have Shiloh or Pax. Brad shares her dream of a large family and together they are making that dream a reality. Angie talks often of how she is so happy to have Brad as a father to their children, especially for Maddox who is very close to his dad. Without Brad there would be no Shiloh, a child Angie loves dearly as she does all four of her kids. But you sound as if no Shiloh is your preference. How very very sad.
3. She became a pilot on her own. She’s was fearless. before
brad.
True she is still fearless. That has not changed. She is just more careful as she is older and now has four tiny children in her life. She and Brad ride bikes, travel, fly, and Brad gives her the necessary support at home to pursue her interests while being a mom of four. Angie has said that Brad gets her to slow down to enjoy life. Isn’t that what we all want, someone who has our back?
4. She was acclaimed as an actress with one oscar win and three golden globes. Before Brad.
True she is still a great actress. Brad has not hampered her career in any way, he produced AMH with an acclaimed role for her, which he had never done for any of his sig others, only his Angie.
5. She was appearing on most sexiest/beautiful lists all on her own. Before brad.
True and she still appears on those lists. If anything her beauty is more radient and enhanced by the love she so clearly has for Brad.
6. She didn’t care about frivlous/material stuff in her life. Before brad.
Of course she did to a certain extent as we all do. She had a home, collected antiques, wore great clothes, had beautiful jewelry. She herself said she was in a dark place at times. Brad has brought her out of that dark place, he has provided her with a shoulder to cry on when her mom dies, he gets her to talk to him when they are in the bathtub, provided her with an extended support system and a large family, something she always wanted. Brad makes her happy.

Seems like one person gives and gives and gives and the other simply takes. And who gets slaughtered in the press Angelina? Who seems to have the teflon coating around him? Brad.
Your point is made, you do not like Brad. But that is irrelevant and unimportant because Angie loves Brad and he is her choice. In truth they are both giving and getting, that how a successful relationship works. Brad does not bring any more negative **** into Angie’s life than she had preBrad, it is just multiplied times 2 because they are now a unit of 2 plus 4 kids. Look at how the pixs and RC BBT **** and Oscars and Jamie appeared today in blogs. Angie is a legend as is Brad and legends always get talked about. Brad is still seen as a Golden Boy which is as far from the real Brad as possible, and Angie is still seen as the sultry vamp which is also as far from the truth as possible, but those lies sell tabs. Neither Brad nor Angie give a dam* about tabs but you sure do. You need to ask yourself why you so resent Brad in Angie’s life, as she is the happiest and most fulfilled she has ever been in her current life with Brad.
I dunno why people from the UK & US media are making a big deal out of a rip pants. They do not even have proof/picture of the rip. And stepping on gum? That’s so normal, it happens to everyone who walks on the street unless we will be like Singapore & ban gum altogether. Imagine if someone’s walking in the streets of Paris, Rome or Beijing…I cannot fanthom what are our shoes going to encounter with in these cities.
Let’s stop sensationalizing this incident. It’s not evn a big news in my books.

I opened my news alert about my favorite couple and everything was about the ripped pants and the gum she stepped on. It’s so stupid to create a mountain out of a mole hill. The ripped pants’ case is absurd and I don’t give a damn if she stepped on a gum, I always have the same blunder, who cares?

IT HAS now become so common to see Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt photographed with their brood in tow, that when the couple appear alone together, it just doesn’t seem right to some. But young cohabitants need time to themselves, yes? So, the other night at the premiere of Angie’s 3-D, semi-animated mythological epic, “Beowulf,” they arrived in all their glory, just the two of them. The Golden Boy and Mother Earth with a hot twist seemed fine, unfettered for the moment from the responsibilities of parenthood and global nurturing.
As soon as the world’s most-gossiped-about actors stepped from their eco-friendly Prius, studio PR types immediately produced the boys who appear in the movie, Tyler Steelman and Randy Shelly. There was a lightning fast photo op.
The glamour pair then strode down the red carpet outside the Westwood Village Theater. It was fast. One photographer complained, “It’s not fair. We do understand, they are abused so much, but we are not the paparazzi!” Brad left Angelina to talk with the line of reporters (it’s her movie, after all) and when the photogs begged him, “Please stop. We don’t have video. We’re still,” the actor waved and said, “I don’t have time.”
Inside the theater, Mr. Pitt was more accommodating to fans with their digital cameras — though surely he knows in this age of Internet, people are not taking these shots home to paste into a scrapbook. Nobody’s really a “fan” anymore; everything’s for sale or for fame.
Brad and Angie were in a young-couple-on-a-first-date mode. They looked deeply into each other’s eyes over the popcorn. Well, nothing like a lot of butter to help busy parents forget all that diaper changing.
Everybody received 3-D glasses, essential to watch the movie.
The audience seemed blown away by the Robert Zemeckis film. Helen Mirren said, “It was savage but absolutely beautiful. Sad but true to the era. I loved it. It’s the first thing I’ve ever seen in 3-D!”
Ah, but it wouldn’t be a night in Hollywood without a touch of tension. Warren Beatty and Annette Bening were there, and at one point inside the theater, Warren just stood aside to watch the frenzy around Brad and Angie. A reporter leaned in and said, “Warren, this must take you back. I bet you can empathize with them, what it was like to be the center of the crush.” Wrong approach! Warren said, with unmistakable irritation, “What it was like? Oh, yes, sure!” And then he turned his back on the scribe. Monsieur is still the greatest star!
Amazing! She is a hard working woman - flying for hours for a premiere then back to work and the 4 (!) kids!
I wish her all the energy she needs to master all these demands and still can keep herself beautiful outside and inside.

I laughed reading this because a couple of weeks ago I posted that this movie was going to change a lot of school kids attitude upon hearing the word Beowulf. In my day it was met with loud groaning and much complaining. The kids from now forward will have a completely different attitude. They’ll be saying awright, cool movie day in class. Do you think they’ll be able to show it to high school kids? All the violence? It has an R rating doesn’t it? So, no one under 17? I guess they can’t show it in school without getting parental permission. But the kids studying it will be able to rent it.
You won’t get the 3-D effects from a rental though, will you? Can you watch TV with glasses and make it 3-D? It will be nothing like watching it in an IMAX theater though.
But anyway, this will give ole Beowulf a whole new reputation to the next generation of kids studying the poem. Just like Angelina is going to completely change the image of Grendel’s mother. In the poem she is a withered hag of a creature. Nothing like our sexy Angelina at all! School kids will need to make note of that, it will probably be one of those trick questions on the test to make sure you read the material instead of just watching the movie! I always hated when teachers did that to you.

I dunno why people from the UK & US media are making a big deal out of a rip pants. They do not even have proof/picture of the rip. And stepping on gum? That’s so normal, it happens to everyone who walks on the street unless we will be like Singapore & ban gum altogether. Imagine if someone’s walking in the streets of Paris, Rome or Beijing…I cannot fanthom what are our shoes going to encounter with in these cities.

Stepping in gum? It is one of my major pet peeves. Ask my kids what was most likely to get them a new one ripped but good and they’ll tell you it’s spitting out their gum! I was an absolute monster about it.
I so hate stepping in gum myself that I made sure my kids were well trained that it was a heinous, unforgivable sin. I lectured that it was selfish to make the next person who came along scrape their shoe for 15 minutes because my kids were too lazy and selfish and irresponsible and thoughtless of their fellow man to take 10 seconds to spit their gum into a trash can. No trash can nearby? Then you wrap the gum in paper and stick it into your pocket or purse until you come to a trash can. No excuses!
My kids joke to this day they would feel less guilty kicking a puppy than spitting gum in the street.

Yes this is exactly why she will always be in demand. A 12 hour flight, 8 hour time difference and here she is back at work today in LA after being in London just last nite supporting one of her films. Angie and Brad must have gone straight to the airport from the premiere. She is a wonderful example to emulate, does not whine, does not complain, hardworking, and does what she says she will do. She did not hold up production, she knows time is money, that people are very anxious with the stike and its effects on their lives. She did not let the cast and crew down with any diva demands, even though she has to be tired. She is a trooper.

I find it somewhat odd that Angie did 2 days of work for this movie and she is the headliner. Talk about star power!! Also, she is not Beowulf – I would think his name would come first. At the end of the day, I guess it doesn’t matter. This is not my type of genre but because its ANGELINA – it has poked my interest and I cant wait to see it.

I KNOW. This is what I love. For everything people try to use to bring her down, there are more better things that she is doing and being recognized for, therefore she still remains on top. So you see, everything balances itself out. The good stuff might not be talked about by the media, but they’re still in her list of ever-growing accomplishments. Good morning all. Wow, The Economist is a very highly regarded and respected periodical. No wonder JP’s don’t care what the friggin Star says about her! I must admit, I feel pretty silly even caring when those “magazines” write lies about her. She just keeps proving over and over again by her actions that she has far bigger things to achieve and worry about then a rag. She really has motivated me too. For the first time in my life, I will be donating some time to a food bank in my city on Thanksgiving day AND bringing my 5 year old daughter with me. My 4 year old son would just destroy the place, so he will stay home with dad basting the turkey while I teach my daughter about charity. I must say I am excited and was inspired by the JP’s, and the recent death of a good friend. Life is just too damn short to not try and make a difference.

Some a**hole once decided to just throw their gum, I guess out of a moving car (I was only 12, so details a bit fuzzy) because it landed in my the middle of my long hair. My mom spent well over an hour getting it out with PEANUT BUTTER. To say she was only livid would be putting it mildly. A huge mess, and of course a catastrophe of epic porportions to a 12 year old!!! I HATE gum and NEVER chew it.

What a suprise the tabs are starting with the thanksgiving day bullshit. Over here the british star magazine are saying that angie’s upset that brad’s mum invited aniston for thanksgiving at their home in missouri and angie is furious. The source is that well known name they always use tiffany law and tonya hart but they left jim cruse out this time. I swear every holiday they run with this story, you would think they would be more creative.
Yes, I am keeping my fingers (and toes) crossed that they would have a premiere for Wanted in Chicago (after all, Common is from Chicago, maybe he can use his clout to have a premiere here). Why would any rational person believe that Brad’s parents would invite his divorced ex from nearly three years ago to a holiday dinner? Would they expect Brad to attend as well? Why would anyone believe this? These tab readers should be offended that they could be thought so gullible and downright stupid to buy something so ignorant.
I hate these tabloids. I know Angie says she doesn’t pay any attention to them but I still hate it for her sake. They make up dreadful stories where she is supposedly ranting and raving about something every single week. Angie is nothing like these stories. I don’t understand why they couldn’t sell just as many magazines if they told the truth about her. So many great stories they could tell about her humanitarian work, Angie’s huge compassionate heart, her commitment to refugees, her love for her children.

Its the same recyled lies last year. And of course, the truth was that aniston has no one to spend thanksgiving with except the Arquettes. Im sure she will spend with them again.
What a hardworking woman!! More power to her!! She is multitasking!! Thank God she has a very supporting partner whom she trusts and loves so she can rely on him. It must be very refreshing for both of them.
It was almost impossible for the British tabs to NOT find something stupid to write since Angie and Brad were in London. The funny thing is that the only thing they could come up with was a gum and a nonexistent rip on her pants. It’s unbelievably stupid to even discuss it.

Not to the tab readers. These fanistons buy the tabs because their cover stories reinforce their (secret) belief that one of these days Brad is going to “wake up” and leave Angie and the three adopted kids, and take Shiloh to go back to the ex. Why else would they do that if not because they are still nursing their delusion? And that was after she divorced BBT and way before Brad.
On the other hand Angelina has always been praised by people who matter such as world leaders and respectful humanitarians. Everyone who has worked with her have only great things to say about her. She is a woman with great indignity. The only ones who think otherwise are the tabloids and some jealous uneducated hags who read them and believe them as gospel.

…….As for her being able to sleep on the plane. I’m sure she and Brad can not only sleep on the plane, they can do a whole lot more. I believe Angelina and Brad were flying on a private jet - to fly transatlantic, it would be quite a BIG JET. Areas are partitioned off. And with the drone of the jet engines, they might even be able to make jungle noises:-)
