Join Angelina Jolie in Protest
Angelina Jolie causes quite the scene on the Los Angeles set of her new movie The Changeling on Monday. She protested with about 400 extras!
Just this past weekend, Angie and Brad Pitt heated up the red carpet at the London premiere of Beowulf.
“It’s so, so nice to see all these fans here, it always is,” the 32-year-old actress told reporters at the premiere. “I haven’t been here for a little bit. I lived here for a few years, and I do plan to come back more often.”

I find it somewhat odd that Angie did 2 days of work for this movie and she is the headliner. Talk about star power!! Also, she is not Beowulf – I would think his name would come first. At the end of the day, I guess it doesn’t matter. This is not my type of genre but because its ANGELINA – it has poked my interest and I cant wait to see it.

To her roles as Hollywood actress, UN goodwill ambassador and mother, Angelina Jolie can now add another - writer for the Economist.
The high-minded economic and political weekly has secured a sprinkling of stardust for The World in 2008, which is published tomorrow and contains predictions for next year.
Jolie’s piece on accountability for the atrocities in Dakar sits alongside contributions from several presidents, an exiled god-king, the head of the United Nations and other political heavyweights.
Her photo byline describes her as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
The annual spin-off to the Economist retails for £4.95 and covers topics ranging from global warming to the politics of Latin America.
Now in its 22nd year, the publication is sold internationally and will remain on news-stand shelves all year.
The field of high-profile contributors includes French president Nicolas Sarkozy, Mexican president Felipe Calderón, the Dalai Lama, New York mayor Michael Bloomberg, speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, and Korean-born UN secretary-general Ban Ki-moon.
The Economist has also made audio interviews with the authors available to download as podcasts, available from http://www.economist.com/theworldin.

I KNOW. This is what I love. For everything people try to use to bring her down, there are more better things that she is doing and being recognized for, therefore she still remains on top. So you see, everything balances itself out. The good stuff might not be talked about by the media, but they’re still in her list of ever-growing accomplishments. They might not be talked about today, but they will be talked about someday. LOVE ANGIE. :)
That’s our Girl! She’s now a writer for The Economist!!

Goooooooooo Angelinaaaaa!!!Gooooooooo Braddddd!!!!!!
Good morning all. Wow, The Economist is a very highly regarded and respected periodical. No wonder JP’s don’t care what the friggin Star says about her! I must admit, I feel pretty silly even caring when those “magazines” write lies about her. She just keeps proving over and over again by her actions that she has far bigger things to achieve and worry about then a rag. She really has motivated me too. For the first time in my life, I will be donating some time to a food bank in my city on Thanksgiving day AND bringing my 5 year old daughter with me. My 4 year old son would just destroy the place, so he will stay home with dad basting the turkey while I teach my daughter about charity. I must say I am excited and was inspired by the JP’s, and the recent death of a good friend. Life is just too damn short to not try and make a difference.
Okay, off my soapbox. Thanks for letting me share. And a special shout out to Guli, Briseis, MF, hahahahaha, Sherri, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, AddictedtoBAMPZS.
Jaxon- I enjoyed your late night gum chewing rant. I was lurking but to tired to respond and tell you about my gum experience in my hair. To be continued…..
