OlderAshlee Simpson is Born to Lead
Ashlee Simpson walks the gray carpet at the 2007 CosmoGIRL! Born to Lead Awards at NYC’s Hearst Tower on Tuesday. The 23-year-old singer/actress wore head-to-toe black — vintage Azzedine Alaia minidress, suede thigh-high Prada boots, scarf, and sheer arm and leg coverings.
This year’s celebrity honorees included Ashlee, Eva Amurri, Fall Out Boy, Jordin Sparks and Jonas Brothers. All were chosen for making their personal dreams come true or making a positive change in their communities. All winners represented today’s young leaders, givers, humanitarians, life-savers, and visionaries.
Father manager Joe Simpson (pictured below) was also on hand to support daughter Ashlee. Boyfriend Pete Wentz was at the awards too but didn’t pose for photos with Ashlee–he was with his own band Fall Out Boy.

Her image says hate what you really are and go get plastic surgery to become fake. She and Jessica Simpson are pathetic.

I dont know if it was just me, but before I read the title and ONLY saw the picture - I was like…is that one of them Olsen twins? lmao its only Ashlee who looks just as awkward

She tries so hard to be like the olsens, I hate how she always does their trademark pursed lips/pout. I dont’ like it when the Olsens themselves do it, but at least its original. And there are several outfits that she basically ripped off the Olsens who, if you are a fan or not, are fashion trend setters (they were wearing Louboutins long before anyone else, that’s why Christian Louboutin himself is a close friend). In the Harper’s Bazaar issue where MK mentioned she looks at mags and sometimes sees a picture and thinks its her for a second b/c of the outfit, I would not be surprised it it were Ashlee she was talking about. Sorry for the rant but I cannot stand Ashlee, and not just because she tries to be an Olsen. She is a horrible role model, she has disgusting taste in men, she got plastic surgery and confirmed it a million years later with an excuse….she’s so fake.

True Asslee is born to lead. She has substance, she’s gutsy and she takes risks. Her sister, on the other hand is immature,stubborn,stagnant,desperate and high strung at times. At least Jess didn’t get a face transplant to put her face on the radar. Actually she never needed to because she was a star before Ass. Her natural beauty put her face on the map. Jessica is prettier than *******.Jess just needs to stay away from the smoky eye look, it makes her look robotic and manly. She should experiment with pastels instead. She should leave the smoky eyes to Ass, she has edge and she can pull it off.
