OlderRyan Phillippe: I Would Wake Up and Cry and Vomit
Ryan Phillipe and his children — Ava, 8, and pizza delivery boy Deacon, 4 — arrive at LAX airport in Los Angeles Monday evening after a trip to Philadelphia.
The father-of-two recently sat down for an interview with new magazine Man About Town. Here are some interview snippets:
On being a mess after his divorce from Reese Witherspoon: “After the divorce I was a physical wreck. I wanted to die. I was ready to kill myself. I was not taking care of myself at all. I would wake up and cry and vomit.”
On using his past experiences to now cry on demand: “Now, it’s f–king easy. When I was younger, I didn’t have enough to cry about. But since I’ve had kids, I feel my work has become better, because my life is fuller and more complicated, and I’ve experienced so many highs and lows.”
On why you won’t see him doing any endorsement deals in the near future: “If I see actors doing commercials, such as Catherine Zeta-Jones in the T-Mobile ads now, when I see her in a movie, it’s hard to disassociate the two.”
On Elizabeth Taylor and Elton John, who once took him out for tea: “I was sitting there looking at them interact, and I’m thinking, These people have raised millions of dollars to save people. The potential power of celebrity is astounding.”

I feel so sorry for these two kids. They are obviously upset by the photogrphers taking their pictures. And I am sure the photographers weren’t just taking pictures, they were probably shouting and yelling nasty stuff, to get a reaction. Ryan was at the baggage claim, and the kids look exhausted and upset. It is a pitiful display. I hope people are satisfied. I hope you realize how much these pictures cost! The minor children of celebrities should NOT be photographed without the expressed permission of their parents. Ever.And I wish you wouldn’t post pictures of kids, jared. As for Ryan feeling suicidal and almost vomiting, this exact same story has been floating around for two months with these exact same quotes. All I can say is, people often feel like vomitting when they have had too much to drink. Ryan should stay away from the clubs and the young hootchie mams.He certainly has had all the female companionship he wanted. At least he didn’t say he was lonely.

I feel bad for the kids they really don’t look very happy. I just love Ryan. I think he’s a great dad, great actor and hot as hell. He’ll land on his feet. Divorce sucks no matter what.

He and Reese have had lots of problems and had to go to counseling many times which made the relationship last as long as it did. I guess it was time to let go and find someone else.

The kids look miserable when they are tired, coming off a long flight and being hounded by paparazzi. They look just as miserable when they are with their mother in similar circumstances. Reese and Ryan both seem to be good people who really are trying to raise their kids the best they can. Why are people so quick to hate on them. Go raise your own kids.

I would bet that if they travel with La Witherspoon it is by private jet so they don’t have to go through a public airport. But he probably doesn’t have the money to pay for a private jet so the kids are exposed to the papas. It’s always a question of money, who’s got it and who hasn’t.
I so want them back togehter. But then I remember that he cheated and that they are done for good now, with the divorce official. They are so good looking and those children are adorable, and she’s so cute. I remember when she won the Oscar, he was there.. and it was so cute. Aw.

I’m so happy to see him spending time with his kids. So many kids of divorce don’t get to spend time with both parents, so this is really awesome. That little Ava is the spitting image of her mommy. So gorgeous! Beautiful children.

Also the MAT interview when he speaks about him wanting to kill himself it ticks me off these sites don’t finsh his statement he said it was about the pain his kids were in and the ugliness of situation. When someone dies, the surviving spouse gets half the estate tax free. And when couples divorce often property is split 50/50 if there is no prenup to the contrary. But while married the husband gets what the wife gives him; he has no legal claim on her income.

I have loved him since Cruel Intentions with Reese Witherspoon!! I saw the pics of his little girl covering her face…:(. But with the money he makes, and his popularity….he needs to hire some really big body guards to keep pics from these of his kids from happening. They can at least sheild the kids somehow instead of him trying to carry both of them and his daughter covering her face. Man…she looks exactly like her mom…too cute!! I like to look at celebrity photos..and their kids pics too, but only when the parents ok it. I don’t like photos like this one where I see that the parent has no option but to sit back and watch helplessly. I give him props…he looked really frustrated…but did not do anything in front of his kids. You can see that they come first. He should have put them first when he was cheating on his wife!!!!! Oh well, we’re all human and make mistakes…even the celebrities.

They went through marriage counselling long before the divorce. Maybe it just wasn’t meant to be. They tried a lot harder than most hollywood couples. I’m sure they wil do whats best for their children
