Older‘Made of Honor’ Movie Poster
The Made of Honor movie poster starring Patrick Dempsey and Michelle Monaghan has been released, thanks to Cinematical.
The Paul Weiland-directed romantic comedy was on location in the Meatpacking District back in June, when Dempsey did a bit of crossdressing and squeezed into a long pink satin wedding dress.
Made of Honor revolves around Tom (Dempsey) and Claire (Monaghan), who have been platonic friends for 10 years. He’s a serial dater, while she wants marriage but hasn’t found Mr. Right. Pollack will play the father of Tom. Just as Tom is starting to think that he is relationship material after all, Claire gets engaged. When she asks Tom to be her “maid” of honor, he reluctantly agrees just so he can attempt to stop the wedding and woo her.
Made of Honor will be released in theaters May 2, 2008. Bigger poster inside…

Interesting story line!! But it was more interesting when it was called ” My best friend’s weddng” and that was realeased about 10 years ago. Nice try
As #2 said, “My Best Friends Wedding” Loved in the first time!!! But com’on this is the samething roles are just backwords… But I gotta give it to you nice try!
Seriously… How many original story lines do you think are out there? Everything has been done and is always repeated when it’s successful. Whenever I hear that remark about a movie I find it to be a rather ignorant critique.

@Isabelle: I disagree. There is a vast difference between reimagining an already invented storyline and blandly repeating it, and this is a point worth considering when reviewing any film. If anything, I find your generalization ignorant critique.
This sounds like one of the worst ideas for a movie. Awful. Insulting to women. Teenage girl silly.
What happened to the sensible idea of only having children as bridal attendants? In fact what happened to the most sensible of all ideas of getting married in a smart looking suit or short dress at city hall? That is the quintessential NYC wedding.
As other posters have stated, this is a rip off of My Best Friends Wedding. Sounds extremely boring, even if McDreamy is in the lead.
Ummm, who wrote this little blurb? “Pollack will play the father of Tom”. Who is Pollack? Never mentioned anywhere else in the piece….
And ditto about it being a total re-run of My Best Friend’s Wedding!!
