Matt Damon takes the top honor in People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive 2007. Here’s what People had to say about the sexiest man alive:
“George Clooney and Brad Pitt have shamelessly campaigned for him since 2001, but this year’s winner was Bourne to the title. “You’ve given an aging suburban dad the ego-boost of a lifetime,” Damon, 32, explained why he couldn’t possibly accept the crown – which perfectly demonstrates many of the reasons we chose him in the first place: irresistible sense of humor, rock solid family man, heart-melting humility.”

People needs a little variety in there list. I mean I understand a guy can be on the list more than once but it gets so repetitive. I know Brad Pitt is attractive but I mean he’s so overrated… well maybe overexposed is a better word. We get it. He’s hot. But I don’t think he should make the list every year. Same with Justin Timberlake He’s attractive but I’m over it. Give me something new. Matt Damon, Ryan Reynolds, Dave Annabelle, and Adrian Grier are at least fresh faces to some extent. Maybe not Damon but he’s never been #1 before….
This list is tired… They need to liven it up a bit with some new faces not the same old ones all the time. Sure George Clooney and Brad Pitt every now and then but they’ve had their time and their 1 million people covers… Let’s see something new!!!!!!!!

Sorry Laura, while I think Gerard is incredible and should definitely be on the list (heck, def give it to him next year!), there is nothing feminine about Matt Damon. He is the quiet, sexy type and I think he was an excellent choice.
I’m glad Ben made the list too. I’m so sick of people bashing him still because of Jlo. He’s still a great actor (and now director) and a very sexy man.
They could have lost several of those top picks though. And ugh, at Shemar Moore. If you’re the kind of guy who is willing to talk about how awesome you are after tanning and your clothing choices, you are just not sexy in any way, shape or form. Bah.
