Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi, who’s promoting her new cookbook, Tangy Tart Hot & Sweet, swears like a sailor in her interview in the latest issue of Vanity Fair. Hot dang!
On the Top Chef Emmy nomination: “[It] was a big f-ing deal.”
On life without her ex-husband, Salman Rushdie: “I’m really f-ing sad.”
On her new cookbook: “Finishing the f-ing book was like being in labor for two years!”
On hosting dinner parties: “I pulled this out of my ass.”
On an AIDS charity she supports: “…we’re doing a campaign and an event and you should buy a f-ing table.”
On telling the press if she had a boyfriend: “My husband would call f-ing Reuters.”
On a tabloid’s coverage of her bra size: “…they said it was 36C. I said, 34C, motherf-er!”
On her current living situation: “Now I’m staying in a f-ing hotel with all my s— in storage.”

I think she’s either parodying Gordon Ramsay or making a pathetic effort at mimicking his trademark style of speech. Either way - I’m neither impressed nor bemused. No one swears that much without making a deliberate effort.
Well, at least she is being honest. I get so tired of those prim and proper interviews. It could also have to do with the fact that I myself fall victim to sailor-mouth.
It’s ok to use the f-word but the way she uses it really gives off this arrogant vibe. So bye bye.

Ok shes only humane ! And has the same rights, as we all do, freedom of speech. Dont you think she is getting alittle upset getting grilled about everything she is, says,or does. ect. Why cant fokes just see she is going threw some hard times now. Like people behind close doors wouldnt say the same things. Or would like to say it. So this time she got alittle off her chest. Maybe not too cool. But hay, cut her some slack. She isnt perfect . Even if she is close tobeing like a Goddess . From a guys point of view. Her carreer is just now starting to pick-up, someday , she will be a Superstar, just as she is a Supermodel. I saw her in person, and believe she a Great in the making.
