Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi, who’s promoting her new cookbook, Tangy Tart Hot & Sweet, swears like a sailor in her interview in the latest issue of Vanity Fair. Hot dang!
On the Top Chef Emmy nomination: “[It] was a big f-ing deal.”
On life without her ex-husband, Salman Rushdie: “I’m really f-ing sad.”
On her new cookbook: “Finishing the f-ing book was like being in labor for two years!”
On hosting dinner parties: “I pulled this out of my ass.”
On an AIDS charity she supports: “…we’re doing a campaign and an event and you should buy a f-ing table.”
On telling the press if she had a boyfriend: “My husband would call f-ing Reuters.”
On a tabloid’s coverage of her bra size: “…they said it was 36C. I said, 34C, motherf-er!”
On her current living situation: “Now I’m staying in a f-ing hotel with all my s— in storage.”

When women do that it gets men and some women really angry. But good for her that she keep it as it is. Those goody two shoes interviews some celebrities give they are all rehearsed and you are left wondering what the woman really thinks.

I think she’s either parodying Gordon Ramsay or making a pathetic effort at mimicking his trademark style of speech. Either way - I’m neither impressed nor bemused. No one swears that much without making a deliberate effort.
Well, at least she is being honest. I get so tired of those prim and proper interviews. It could also have to do with the fact that I myself fall victim to sailor-mouth.
It’s ok to use the f-word but the way she uses it really gives off this arrogant vibe. So bye bye.
Anyway, she’s pretty much an idiot.
I guessed that her vocabularies are very limited cause she can not think of any other new words but to used f*** over and over again.
